I’ve bought this candle twice because I loved the way it smells, which is something I’ve never done before. I can describe it best as a trendy, vintage shop with incense burning, whipped raspberry, and some cool, woody undertones. I think the scent uniquely works at any time of the year.

Love boy smells candles. Name is clever. Names of candles are clever too. Kacey musgraves slow burn was an impeccable partnership. Smells great. Didn’t burn well for me. Tons of wax left but no wick. Luxurious packaging and woudl buy for gifts but maybe not for myself again unless heavily discounted

Boy Smells makes some of the best-smelling candles and personal fragrances out there—full stop. Their scents are rich, complex, unexpected, and genuinely memorable, which is rare in a market full of generic and simple unremarkable brands. But the rebrand feels like a massive misstep: it leaned away from what made the brand elevated, mature and progressive, unique and unapologetic. What used to feel bold and subversive now feels like it’s trying too hard to be in on the latest trend… 2 years after it ends. Throughout the rebrand the product seems to have lost a bit of punch, with scent throws weakened and intensities lowered. Candles smell good up close, but disappear when further than a few inches from your hand, even lit for an hour. It's a challenge to justify at the price point.

Boy Smells candles are amazing. I love the slow burn candle. The scents always fill the room but aren’t overbearing. The candles itself is a cute design and they’re really good quality. They do burn slow and last long. Overall I’m happy with my purchase. They aren’t cheap but they are quality and also make a great gift.

The actual burn time of these candles is nothing to write home about, but the visual aesthetic and various scents are why I keep coming back. Also, I love the name. Because, let's be honest, boys do smell.

I love the brand and the mission of gender-less! Honestly I'm a bit sensitive to smells so I weirdly just keep the candle on my nightstand and it's fragrant enough for me without lighting it. I have been gifted a couple of their candles and then I bought the Kacey Musgraves collab and I found that one a bit too overpowering. If you like strong scents, this would be a perfect candle for you because they do have really yummy smells. Just keep that in mind that it's powerful!

Whenever I’ve splurged on a pricier candle in the past, it never felt worth the extra cost compared to a random find from Marshalls. But then I gave Boy Smells Hinoki Fantome a try, and wow, it’s on a whole different level! The scent is amazing—it fills my open-concept living and dining room perfectly, whether I’m burning it or using a candle warmer. I usually go for soy-based candles, but this blend of coconut and soy wax really makes a difference. The fragrance travels farther and lingers more than my usual picks. The scent itself is lightly sweet, earthy, and definitely not overpowering—when I first smelled it, I wasn’t sure, but once it started burning, it became subtle and really complex. I’ll definitely be buying this one again—I'm officially hooked!

Love the concept—non girly scented products. I appreciate their innovation but in the end I didn’t love the actually scents of the products.

I’ve bought a bunch of Boy Smells candles, and while they’re not all hits, the ones I like, I really love. Their scents are complex, bold, and unique - definitely not your typical basic candles. My favorites are Kush, Les, and Woodphoria. They all smell rich and layered without being overpowering. The packaging is also really nice.

SUCH a fun brand—the candles and room spray are like nothing else out there in such a crowded fragrance market. Scents are nuanced without being overly heady, so you never get sick of them. I keep a closet of them for gifts and always feel happy to light one at home.
