Bombas reviews and discussion

Reviews mention

  • Plush cushioning comfort
  • Supportive honeycomb arch band
  • Secure no-show heel grip
  • Breathable, moisture-wicking knit
  • Inconsistent long-term durability
  • Occasional tight calf compression
  • Notably thick, warm knit
  • Sizing and fit variability

Bombas earns strong reviews for comfort, support, and stay-put performance—especially in running, no-show, kids’ gripper, and compression socks—while its one-pair-donated mission resonates. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: frequent reports of holes within months to a couple years, occasional shrinking or tight calves/ankles, some styles too thick or warm, and inconsistent fit among designs, making quality feel uneven despite many long-lasting pairs.

  • Quality socks at a decent price point. I think their mission is righteous.

  • The products are very high quality. I bought some socks, some underwear, and some shirts. They are all very comfortable and soft and I’m glad that I purchased them.

    Feedback

The only thing that kind of concerned me is the amount of shrinkage that I experienced with the socks but that is pretty normal.

  • I love my Bombas socks. I’ve had a specific pair now for a few years, and they look and feel just as good as when I first bought them. These socks are durable, they’re comfortable, and really there’s no other socks like them in the market right now. They have so many different options when looking at height, color, and material. I’ve tried the classic socks, the hiking socks, the running socks, golf socks, and they are all of the highest quality and performed superbly. I also love their lost sock policy and their donation policy. Give it a look :)

  • I have only purchased bombas socks but I was very impressed by the thickness and overall fit and quality. You can tell they are harder to wear out (holes etc) than your average sock. Plus I love their mission!

Price point is a little expensive but given it’s a give back product I understand

  • Honestly the best socks I've ever owned. Not only are they comfortable, but they come in different thicknesses and different colors. I will only buy Bombas from now on.

Would love to see them expand into different products.

  • Bombas socks are truly great. They feel super cushiony and soft and fit well and look good.

Could be more breathable and affordable.

  • Amazing socks. So many options. The only no show socks I'll buy. I am dying to try their running socks. Such a good gift

  • So so comfortable and really cute. I love the new styles that Bombas comes out with, you can really find anything you are looking for. Customer service is also amazing and responded very quickly with a new pair when mine arrived with a hole.

Definitely pricey, they're good gifts and I have one or two pairs but I probably won't end up replacing my entire sock drawer

  • I have had my bombs for years and they're still strong, look new, and perfect for runs.

  • Super comfy! I've tried their shorter socks and longer socks and all are super cute and comfortable. In particular, their ankle socks are the perfect cut for wearing with tennis shoes.

  • I love my bombas socks! yes they are pricey. but they are damn cute, and the mission is, when I can get them on sale, worth it.

Maybe I am unusually hard on my socks, but my bombas usually last for a year or two at most. then they develop holes in the toes/ heels/ footbeds. :(

  • My favorite socks! I wear the more athletic ones to workout-I’ve never had a blister. The no shows are wonderful with little white sneakers. Truly no show and they DONT drop off your heel! Plus they’re thicker than a lot of no shows, in a good quality way. No issues with my wider feet.

  • Comfortable socks that are well worth the price. They have held up through many wears and washes.

  • Before Bombas I never really invested in premium socks because I thought it wouldn't make much of a difference. After trying one pair, I don't think I could go back. I absolutely noticed how much more comfortable sneakers became and how I could walk longer with high quality socks like Bombas. Really cute colors and love the mission as well.

  • Very nice socks, just not made for my feet!

    Feedback

There is a band around the foot on bombas that is too tight and very uncomfortable for my feet. I was able to give them to my son, who likes them a lot.

  • Def an investment for socks. I have merino wool pairs for work and regular ones for home. They have lasted 2+ years. This is a lot for me as I usually tear them within 6 months.

Can you guys make “skinny” merino wool? Where it’s not so thick?
