Reviews mention

  • Noticeably whitening, remineralizing toothpaste
  • Refined, non‑overpowering flavor options
  • High‑quality, durable tongue scraper
  • Elegant, ergonomic toothbrush design
  • Mild mint freshness, limited tingle
  • Sls irritation causing mouth ulcers
  • No fluoride toothpaste option
  • Humidity‑prone, soggy mouthwash tablets

Boka earns strong reviews for effective, n‑HA toothpastes and thoughtful tools that reduce sensitivity, brighten enamel, and offer inventive flavors like Lemon Lavender and Coco Ginger, but the brand also draws criticism for mild mint freshness, SLS‑linked mouth sores for some, and mixed impressions of mouthwash tablets. Reviews also flag the lack of fluoride options and inconsistent operations, so buyers prioritizing performance and non‑toxic formulas may love it, while fluoride loyalists and very sensitive mouths should proceed carefully.

  • They have disrupted the oral care industry like no other. Their variety of flavors for their toothpastes other than mint, are a game changer. I cannot use mint flavored products as I am allergic. Their lavender/lemon and coco ginger toothpaste is exactly what I have searched for, for so long. I feel safe using it knowing that if accidentally ingested, it’s non-toxic unlike most fluoride based toothpastes. However, my only grievance is the SLS in their products. It causes me to get mouth ulcers from time to time and I am unable to use it when this happens.

  • Love the cute packaging and thats the first thing that stood out to me. I liked how it’s not an overwhelming minty taste or thick texture. You’re supposed to just spit and not rinse it out after. With other toothpaste I can feel the paste in my mouth, almost a slimy texture but this doesn’t have that effect.

  • This toothpaste rocks. It has cute packaging, but mostly it's made my mouth feel so much better than big brand competitors. It has a very light taste and seems to have helped with my mouth sensitivity a lot. 10/10.

More sustainable packaging and availability in stores like Target, Whole Foods.

  • Toothpaste itself is great. Pricy but worth it. The brand and website however is awful. I placed one order but the website glitched and placed it twice. Company won’t refund even though I reached out to them immediately. Now it’s been a week and both orders haven’t even shipped yet. I also can’t log in to the website now. It is not hard to refund orders that haven’t even shipped. I will not be purchasing from this brand ever again.

  • I’ve been using the toothpaste since 2019, ever since I learned that nano-hydroxyapatite could be more useful to combat teeth than fluoride. I love it! My sensitivity has disappeared and my twice yearly dentist visits are always 10/10. No cavities! The taste is great too — I can’t handle a strong mint flavor and this is just minty enough. I’m on their subscription plan which is so easy!

I wish that if you had a subscription you could add on a travel size toothpaste every few months. I don’t want to pay for shipping on one small tube so for now I use a different toothpaste when I travel.
