  • Plastic-free packaging elegance
  • Light, pleasant fragrance profiles
  • Effective dishwasher tablet cleaning
  • Space-saving refill tins
  • Fragile, finicky pump mechanisms
  • Streak-prone glass cleaner formula
  • Inconsistent laundry tab dissolution
  • Underpowered greasy-mess cleaning

Blueland impresses in reviews for delivering effective, low‑waste cleaning—dishwasher tablets, foaming hand soap, toilet tabs, and laundry routines often perform as well as conventional options with lighter, pleasant scents and compact, plastic‑free refills—so the brand is good for everyday cleaning. However, reviews flag inconsistent cleaning strength for heavy messes (glass cleaner streaks, dish powder and some sprays underperform), dissolving issues with laundry tabs, and widely reported failures of plastic “forever” bottles, pumps, and sprayers.

  • I tried the dish soap and laundry detergent. I think the concept is super cool, but I was very disappointed with how the product worked. My laundry wasn't "dirty" when it came out, but it definitely didn't smell as nice as when I wash with other things. My dishes however, were actually still dirty when they came out time after time. When I use Cascade, my dishes sparkle. Not so with Blueland.

The dish soap needs to pack more of a punch as it doesn't get my dishes clean in the dishwasher when other cleaning solutions used in the exact same way do.

  • Foaming hand soap is their best product in my opinion, love the glass dispenser. Will never go back to any other liquid/bar soaps. The cleaners (multi-purpose, glass, mirror) are fine, maybe not the most effective but gets the job done.

    Feedback

Stronger formulation for multi-surface cleaner (doesn't always clean greasy messes easily).

  • I started my Blueland journey when I loved into my own apartment and wanted clean and sustainable cleaning products. Their starter kit is perfect and, depending on how big your space is, the product goes a long way. I was a little sad when I saw that their spray bottle for the cleaning solutions are plastic. I have since switched my hand soap, body wash and toilet cleaner to Blueland as well.

  • Loved the scent of those handsoap! There are many on the current market, and I try to be particular of which to keep in my household. My entire family is fond of this product!

  • Blueland products excel in sustainability, convenience, and effectiveness, making them an excellent choice for eco-conscious consumers. While there are areas for improvement, such as availability and more precise instructions, Blueland is well-positioned as a leader in environmentally friendly cleaning solutions. They could further elevate their appeal in the market with a few enhancements.

  • I've used their body soap bars, body wash, multi cleaner, glass cleaner, and bathroom cleaner. The starter pack (with three cleaners and the associated bottles) was gifted to me as a birthday gift 3-4 years ago and I've been using it since. The only product I didn't love was the body wash (it just didn't do it for me texture wise and scent wise, and I tried two of the three fragrances available at the time). Overall, I think the products are good (no better or worse of quality than is what is on the mainstream market, but what keeps me buying them is that I don't have to purchase the bottle and the water. I like having the freedom to put the tablets into whichever bottle I already have and using it in my home. It looks nicer, it cuts out so much of the waste, and I save on having to have the water shipped around the world when I can add the water myself. I do wish Now, to the cons...the container. Every single one of my containers has broken, either from a minor fall or seemingly just for no reason at all, they don't withstand falls or tip overs well (I've gotten cracks in them before and there is no repair) or the seam between the top of the container and the bottom just gives out and you can't reattach the two sides. My recommendation...order the refill packs, but get your own (nicer looking) reusable and more durable glass containers, but I would still recommend the product.

  • I love the toilet cleaner tablets. They smell nice but not super strong. They clean well too. I’ve also used the 3 cleaning sprays (from their tablets) and they work really well. The foaming hand soaps are good too.

  • The glass bottles are well made, the scents are nice, the toilet cleaner actually works really well and has a refreshing and longer lasting scent.

The pumps on both soap bottles wore out within first few months of use - I've had store bought foam soap last longer without issue. Soap also dries my hands out with frequent washing, even with my soft water.

  • Really love the mission & range of products they have now. A very unique idea & easy way to produce less waste around the house!

Kept having issues with my spray bottle & cap breaking... yikes! I bought a non-Blueland, glass spray bottle and have been using that with a couple tablets. Would love more scent options! Particularly for the all-purpose cleaner.

  • I really enjoy the concept of the brand and their eco friendly mission. I have purchased a lot of products from them and my favorites are the multi surface spray and foaming hand soaps. The multi surface spray is great for a casual clean but I would still use other products for a deeper clean. The foaming hand soap is great and comes in so many different scent options. I’ve had some issues with the pump but their customer service team sent me replacements.

Their window/glass cleaner is mediocre at best and I’ll probably still stick to Windex. Their laundry tablets do not always dissolve in the washing machine and sometimes chalk up weirdly (not sure if my loads are too full?).

  • Have been using Blueland since they first launched and love every product they've come out with and of course their mission.

  • Was really excited for this sustainable brand, bought the handsoap. To my dismay, the soap pellet settled at the bottom of the water and never dissolved. I love the idea but they need to work on their formulation more.

  • I’m sorry but the blue land body wash was terrible. After combining the powder and water it creates this slurry that is slimy and does not smell nice. It also never stops being slimy. If You keep adding water to the slurry it somehow it just continues to produce more “soap” but really it’s just weird smelling slime.

  • I love Blueland's mission, packaging, and branding. However, the dish soap didn't work as well as I thought it would. It had a hard time cutting through grease/oil. I wouldn't use their dish soap again but I would like to try their household cleaners and hand soap!

  • I use the hand soap, laundry tablets, and laundry booster. I bought the dishwasher tablets as well but haven't run out of our other tabs yet so haven't started using them. I love the laundry products. They get the job done and aren't overpowering with scent. Love the space saving tins. The hand soap took a while to get used to because it doesn't have the slimy feel of most soaps. One tab lasts longer than I expected and I like the scents! Looking forward to trying other products.

  • My experience with Blueland is that it's pretty hit or miss: there are extremely good products, and there are extremely mediocre products. From what I've tried: The hand soap, laundry pods, and dishwasher pods are all excellent, get the job done, smell great, and save space and waste as intended. I love taking a couple of the laundry pods with me when I travel. The cleaning spray pellets are great, but the bottles they come in are a pain: the sprayer doesn't bounce back smoothly and makes the whole thing inefficient to use. I buy the pellets, but use them in bottles left over from other cleaning sprays. The dishwash powder for hand dishwashing is not good - weird sensory experience to use, actually pretty wasteful in that the powder gets used up very quickly and the container is a completely single-use item that has no purpose once you realize the powder is a pain. But I will keep buying my favorites forever! Especially the hand soap - huge fan.

  • Love the laundry detergent and the multipurpose cleaner. The hand soap is nice but the foaming head tends to get stuck all the time. The dish-soap just never felt like it was quit cutting it in terms of cleaning unfortunately.

  • While I agree with several of the critiques of other viewers, I'm too loyal to quit now short of any major pains. Blueland provided an almost all-in-one kit solution for a more sustainable cleaning routine at the right time for me. I just love and appreciate the brand - maybe their social presence is doing a number on me? Anyway, I feel like the products are effective and now that I have a lot of their Forever Bottles already I'm not going to switch to a competitor. I guess the upfront investment in that goes a long way but even so I haven't had any experiences that made me want to drop the brand entirely. I think they're just going to keep iterating to make and refine products consumers actually want and love.

Agree that the dish powder is terrible - I've switched to a plastic-free dish soap bar that I love. Would buy from Blueland if they made something like that. I've also tried the laundry "pods" and switched to just a baking soda powder I can buy in bulk. Another thing I'd probably get from Blueland if they had it. The Oxy booster smells pretty good but it's not a usual part of my routine. I don't love the smell of the all-purpose cleaner but maybe the newer tabs are better. I bought a black soap set specifically for the aesthetic and I like the hand soap smells though they often aren't very strong. Also, I'm glad the black bottles have a smaller logo but the original hand soap bottle logo is a bit much. I definitely agree that the shipping minimum is a challenge because I have a huge backstock of tabs that I bought just to meet it when I needed something else. I had the original Forever Bottles which all cracked and had to be replaced but the updated design seems to be holding up well and customer support was very helpful.
