Blueland impresses in reviews for delivering effective, low‑waste cleaning—dishwasher tablets, foaming hand soap, toilet tabs, and laundry routines often perform as well as conventional options with lighter, pleasant scents and compact, plastic‑free refills—so the brand is good for everyday cleaning. However, reviews flag inconsistent cleaning strength for heavy messes (glass cleaner streaks, dish powder and some sprays underperform), dissolving issues with laundry tabs, and widely reported failures of plastic “forever” bottles, pumps, and sprayers.

I repurchase the foaming hand soap tablets & the toilet bowl tablets consistently & think the quality is pretty OK. I think this brand is great for someone trying to break into being more conscientious about their plastic waste, but the prices can be rather steep & the tablets I've found aren't comparable cleaning wise to some of the "toxic" cleaners found at Target. I appreciate the bundling discounts when purchasing more of a product!

The mixing of the hand soap tablets + the water. No matter what I do (temperature of water, agitation while the tablet is dissolving), I always find a lot of "powder" at the bottom of the bottle, so it feels like you have to mix or shake the hand soap everytime you wash. Would also love to see more scents of the hand soap tablets.

I use Blueland for most household goods! The customer service is great and products are as high quality as the less sustainable / more chemical stuff you get from the grocery store. I wish it was a bit cheaper but highly recommend!

Nothing in particular!

I've been using the entire Clean Suite (hand soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, multi-surface cleaner, etc. included) on pretty much a daily basis and it frankly makes me embarrassed to think about all the single-use plastic packaging I went through with all my cleaning products pre-Blueland. My only concern in the beginning was the effectiveness of the products ("they don't seem "strong" enough") but they clearly get the job done, and in a more natural/safe way. Shopping for refills has become an exciting thing, and the plastic-free packaging + reasonable prices makes it make sense. Huge, huge fan!!
I love all the cleaning sprays. The hand soap is good too. I have the dish tabs but haven't used them yet.

I love the idea of the powder soap and the grittiness really seems like it cleans things. However, the powder soap has really fine particles and if you aren't super careful you can inhale!! I've stopped using because its kind of a pain.
The foaming hand soaps and glass bottles are so aesthetic and make me feel good about using a clean product without harmful ingredients.
I have been trying to make my household as plastic free as possible, and it is so hard. Blueland has made it much easier though. I switched my dishwashing soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, all spray cleaners, hand soap, body gel and toilet cleaner to this brand, and I have zero regrets. Everything is refillable, comes in plastic free paper bags, and their customer service is amazing.

Smells great, cleans well.
The powdered dish soap was cool and worked well but I thought their spray cleaners did not do the job of cutting grease very well, and he glass cleaner was very streaky.
I started using Blueland because I appreciated their attempt to offer alternatives to plastic, single-use packaging and forward thinking on more natural ingredients. I started with their hand soap and was surprised at the results. The soap was able to break through dirt and grime, but also lotions, makeup residue, and oils. And it didn't dry out my hands like others have. The only thing was the pumps never lasted long. They're inexpensive to replace, but over the past two years, I've started to need replacements every few months. With three dispensers in my home now, all of them having trouble at one time or another, I've gone through so many replacements, I've lost patience. Looking through the bag of duds I have waiting to take to recycle, I've now amassed a collection of 12 pumps this past year alone trying to get one that works. And that doesn't include ones that I've received free replacements for because they didn't work from the start. I want to like the company, but if they have such difficulty with soap pumps (which is an apparent known issue since they've started offering free replacements since I started using them), I can imagine what issues there might be with their cleaning product lines. How reliable are their products at truly providing the cleanliness that they advertise?

Overall the cleaning products work well. I currently use the kitchen bathroom and glass spray, dishwasher tablets, toilet tablets and the hand soap tablets. Love the dishwasher and toilet tablets the best. The soap and kitchen spray work well. I'm working my way through the bathroom and glass cleaner, but unless there's a formula change will not buy again. Especially the glass, it's just not good. Also, while I love the packaging a and the sustainability of this brand, it's "forever" bottles Especially the sprays and pumps are awful. I've ended up replacing those bottles with other "non forever" bottles and the sprayers and pumps are still going strong so not sure what gives here. Overall highly recommend for the cleaning product itself.

Love Love Love: Hand soaps, Laundry pellets, dish soap (for hand washing), and dryer balls OK: dishwasher pellets, oxy booster, sponges w/scrubby side Did Not Like: sponges w/o scrubby side, toilet bowl cleaner, all-purpose cleaner I am super loyal to my love love loves! The Oks I order from time to time. What I didn't like about the others...sponges w/no scrubby side didn't get stuck on food, had to break out another tool for that. Toilet Bowl cleaner, smelled great but my toilet started to show residue in half the amount of time compared to my normal toilet cleaner (I do have have a well and we do have red clay in our area). All purpose cleaner, it didn't have the umph of my normal cleaner and took more spray.
I think it's such a brilliant idea to rehydrate the soaps and cleaning products at home in reusable bottles. I use my own bottles but buy the dissolvable tabs from Blueland and they work great, same as any other normal soap. I also use their sponges and swedish cloths and love that I can just throw them in my compost bin.
I love the idea and concept that Blueland promotes, and we have exclusively used Blueland hand soaps in our house for 3 years now. It has been nice not to have to purchase any hand soap at all (the pod refills last quite a while and we've ordered refills once). I'm a fan of the smells they offer and appreciate that the scents are light and fade rather quickly (especially as I keep one in my kitchen, and I don't like extremely fragrant soap smell on my hands while I'm cooking or touching food). The appearance of the hand soap is minimal, attractive, and easy to keep clean. You can even opt for a black soap pump head instead of the white you usually see advertised, which gives another good aesthetic option.

We have been told by multiple houseguests who have come over and tried the soaps that the soaps feel like 90% air and not enough soap. I think our friends who felt this way are used to traditional thicker gel hand soaps, and although I agree the soap foam is very light, this is not a dealbreaker for me. What has been a bit disappointing is the inconsistent quality of the plastic pump head/pump mechanism of the hand soap container. We've replaced ours about 4-5 times since our first purchase which surprised me. The glass bottle itself has been great and not given us any issues, but the pumps seem to break relatively easily. It's still better than buying traditional hand soaps but even Bath & Body Works seem to have figured out a really good foam soap pump mechanism that feels sturdier than this Blueland one. With the pump improved, this would be a perfect product for me.

I love the concept of refillable cleaning products but Blueland didn't meet all of my expectations. If I was rating just the foaming hand soap refills and dispensers I would give it a 5/5! The scents are amazing and it works great. The cleaning sprays were not as amazing as I would've hoped. The nozzle on the bathroom cleaner bottle was defective. The glass and mirror cleaner worked well but the multi-surface cleaner and the bathroom cleaner were just okay.

The cleaning product bottles need to be fixed.

I wanted to love them so bad but I just don’t. Of the 4 products I received, 2 have a defective nozzle. Thankfully their customer support is good and replaced them but that is a 50% defective rate. On top of that there is a $30 minimum for free shipping which is good from an environmental perspective (less transportation pollution per item) but practically, it forces you to stock up with way too much product. Their powdered dish detergent is also easily their worst product.

I wish the refills were also sold at some stores like Whole Foods, or even partnered with local zero-waste refill stores to make it more convenient. I also wish the dish soap wasn’t powdered. Lastly, something needs to be done about the nozzle/pump situation.

I switched over to Blueland just about a year ago and I really enjoy their hand soaps, cleaners, and their new body washes! They're a great, affordable re-usable cleaner option with lovely scents. I have never had an issue with the effectiveness of their cleaners and it feels great to not create so much plastic waste like I would if I was going through bottles of normal cleaner.

Love their mission and so far have had a good experience with their products cleaning products my faves are their hand soap and all purpose cleaner. I’m on the fence about their laundry detergent. I have a front loading washing machine and the tablet always gets stuck in the front and not dissolving. Their spray bottles are plastic, but seem durable so far.
I used Blueland for three months and was never impressed by it. I loved the sustainability of it and the look of the bottles, but the product itself felt lacking and the bottles were very cheaply made. They started leaking and creaking within a month and by the third month I was barely using the product because of how much of a mess it made while trying to clean. I love the mission of Blueland but the product does not live up to the hype.

I've been using Blueland for years now- I love this brand. I use their dish washing soap + detergent, three cleaners, and foaming soap. I have never had any complaints!

Maybe make the kitchen cleaner a different color- sometimes feel like I'm spraying something not so appetizing on the counters :p I'd love to see an upgrade on the soap nozzles so there's less plastic.
