  • Occasional effective hair removal

  • Works on arms and back
  • Instructions produce workable technique
  • Irritating skin burns

Bleame reviews show the brand often fails to live up to its claims: some users get hair removal but many report burns, razor-like cuts, and long-lasting skin irritation. Reviews praise occasional effectiveness on fine hair and certain areas (arms, back, stomach) but overwhelmingly cite severe skin damage, inconsistent results, and poor customer remedies — useful if you have sensitive skin or expect full, painless removal.

  • Both the product and the customer service experience were terrible. I was left with a rug burn like rash on my legs after use. I reached out to the customer service center after seeing their return policy. I got a quick response after my first outreach which seemed to show genuine concern for my experience. However, the solutions that they offered (a gift card to purchase another product or partial refund following a manufacturing inspection, which would take up to 30 days) were not acceptable. The communication from there on out was spotty and though they repeatedly stated they were upset that I had a negative experience, they never took action to correct the issue. I paid for my initial order with Paypal, so I ended up filing a claim through Paypal. Bleame then reached out to me and told me they wanted to issue a refund but that the claim being open with Paypal prevented their system from doing so. I reached out to Paypal who clearly stated that you should NOT close your claim until your issue has been resolved. Paypal even sent me the instructions they give to vendors on how to issue refunds related to claims. I shared this information with Bleame and asked what the specific issue was with the system that prevented them from issuing the refund and they stated they were a "small family business" without the same resources as large companies. I did end up getting a refund, but only because Paypal reviewed the claim I submitted and ruled in my favor. I think if I had ordered directly from Bleame I would have been out of luck.

This product doesn't do what it claims to do and the customer service experience was terrible. The return policy on their website does not accurately reflect what they offer when you initiate a return. I would not purchase from this brand again and would discourage friends from ordering from them.

  • Absolutely destroyed my bikini area. I have sensitive skin but read their advice that it should be ok as long as it’s used gently. I was very gentle but did have to go over the same area a couple of times to actually remove the hair. This product is definitely not for me. If you are susceptible to razor burn, I would highly recommend not using this product. I always get razor burn when I shave my bikini area and this product was much worse than when I do that. Disappointing but I kind of had a feeling it was too good to be true.

  • I used as instructed, even watched videos beforehand just to make sure I got it right. I didn’t rub nearly as much on my skin as instructed and still have a painful razor burn all over. Not only that, but this is no better than using a razor - the hair is just cut off at the skin line and day zero I had a 5 o’clock shadow immediately. This product is like a terrible reinvention of a razor but that doesn’t account for curves of your legs, arms, etc. I’m so angry at myself for falling for the marketing. I have red burns all over my arms days after use, and the area I initially tested on my leg looks no different than where I’d shaved, except it’s actually still slightly painful. I’m appalled there are positive-sounding reviews. Do not waste your time and risk harm to your skin with this product. Just shave, or if you are able to use laser. This is no cheap shortcut, it is truly too good to be true.

  • I highly recommend not using this! I used it the day I got it. I had 1st degree burns on my arm pits and parts of my legs. I used it one time. I used it the way the instructions said. To make matters worse, I still have hair in every burn spot. I put the pictures here. I reached out to them and they will not pay back the shipping fee, they will not cover the shipping cost to send it back, and all they offered me is a gift card. They have a money back 30 day guarantee, I thought that meant a full money back (my mistake I should have read the policy before I bought it). This is just my experience but I highly recommend you think twice. I endured a lot of pain from this on just 2 areas of my body.

  • Takes so much longer, than to shave. If you don't exactly correctly, it can actually give you a burn, and hurt you. It's okay to just use on legs but it's much easier to shave at that point.

  • This product barely worked for me. Maybe it's user error, but I was under the impression that this was supposed to be such an easy alternative to shaving. I tried it out on my legs, with my hair only slightly grown out between shaves. I got a few tiny patches removed, but going for just my leg below the knee was going to take forever, besides the fact that it seemed that no matter how long I worked at it, certain areas weren't going to end up hairless.

  • I just received my crystal hair eraser and used it right away. I tried to be as gentle as possible and to not rub it too much. The outcome was good. Hair was gone. Yet, I was left with a couple of questions like: what if my hair now grows in different directions? Or, is this truly safe for my skin?

Bleame should be more transparent about the materials used in the nano-crystals. The skin is our largest organ so it’s important to know what materials or ingredients we expose it to. Something else I couldn’t find in their website is if they are approved by the FDA. Perhaps they don’t need approval but I must say that when products are approved by the FDA this gives me peace of mind. And finally, I think it would be great if the brand could take a step forward and let consumers know what to expect once hair grows back. What are the effects of the crystal hair eraser?

  • Wouldn't recommend - terrible customer service had to push for a refund when the product was not shipped out. It also burnt my skin.

  • Used in the shower, as instructed, and Bleame burned the heck out of my sensitive skin! After use my skin felt like it was covered in shards of glass, and bumps appeared on the most sensitive parts that I treated (backs of thighs) accompanied by a burning sensation all over! Caution to the sensitive skinned peeps out there, AVOID at all costs!!!

When I contacted Bleame for a refund I had the same experience as many others reported - they just offered me another product instead (a body scrub), then a half refund, then finally after much prodding gave me refund instructions. When I replied to someone on an instagram post with a question about sensitive skin my message was instantly deleted! Their whole marketing campaign is a scam, all honest reviews are taken down. Shame on you Bleame!

  • ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ while the Bleame did successfully remove the hair from my legs, it also left my skin red and bumpy with the strawberry pattern. This reaction is common with shaving and Bleame advertises that you can avoid it by using their product. After my experience, I have learned that this is FALSE! ‼️ The strawberry look and bumpy texture is in fact 10x worse from this product compared to traditional shaving. In addition, this product caused extreme itching and burning on my legs that was so extreme, I had scabs forming on my legs. This lasted for over a week and was so bad I couldn’t sleep. I tried moisturizing, vitamin e oil and even rubbing Vaseline on my legs to help alleviate the pain but nothing worked. It was horrible. The worse part is that their customer service is virtually non-existent despite advertising that it is available 24/7. Also, despite reaching out days after receiving this product. I have yet been offered the option to return this product for a full refund - they did offer 50% refund with a long list of terms. If satisfaction was actually their top priority, they would have stood by their product and offered me a return option for a 100% refund.

  • Nope. Bled everywhere - the product is garbage and they don’t return emails when you want refunds. Product is crap and had I done proper research would’ve seen all the pictures of bloodied legs and bikini lines that look just like mine now and ran the other way!

  • They claim that it is painless, but it left my skin so raw and red it feels like I'm on fire. It also barely removed any hair, mostly just removed my skin. DO NOT BUY

  • ORDER #B458253 I recently purchased two Bleame hair removal products, the Skin Sonic electric shaver and the Crystal Hair Eraser, and after nearly a month of use, I must say I'm quite disappointed with both, especially the Skin Sonic. The Skin Sonic turned out to be essentially ineffective. It struggled to remove hair efficiently, and it took a considerable amount of time to cover even a small area. I regret making this purchase. As for the Crystal Hair Eraser, it does work, but it came with its own set of issues. When I used it on my armpits, it left my skin extremely sensitive and raw. In fact, it left me with what felt like shaving bumps, despite not actually shaving. Overall, I cannot, in good faith, recommend these products. While I was initially drawn in by their social media campaigns, I have to say that they simply don't live up to the hype, and I feel like I wasted my money on them.

  • This product advertises as a razor replacement “Ditch the Razor”. Umm no my hair grew back the next day and I couldn’t even shave it off because this product BURNED my skin. I was gentle and if effected me in different parts of my legs, arms, back etc 20 min after I used it. It honestly felt like a chemical burn/ rug burn/ sun burn. It was red for two weeks and then it turned into a scab :(. I tried to get a refund but I didn’t have much of an option. They said that I could return the item but I’d have to pay for shipping and also the item should have not been used!? Like of course I used it, and I’m returning it because it sucked! After all that I’d get a refund after 40 days and an inspection of the product once it’s been returned. My only other option was to not ship it back, get half my money back, and get 20% coupon code (oh yippee!). Needless to say I was not satisfied with this product, and I was very disappointed that I couldn’t leave a review on their website after the refund. Now I know why all of their reviews are 4-5 stars. I feel like I’ve been deceived and I’m very disappointed! Stay away from this product!

  • I didn’t have a good experience. The product removed some hair, but caused cuts and skin irritation on the parts of my body I used it on. What I thought were “strawberries” from the hair removal, it was actually tiny razor like slits all over my skin. My skin burned for several days and was difficult to be in the sun or let sweat touch the area. I do not recommend this product

  • This product actually works for me after a lot of trial and error. You have to use it on dry skin though, and make sure that the crystal part is wet. I found it also works best for fine body hair. My arms, my back, and my stomach turned out much better than my lower legs. The reason I took away one star is because the instructions don’t tell you to use dry skin and a wet crystal and because the product is ridiculously overpriced. It works though !

  • Phew I wish I’d seen these reviews prior to reading the ones on Instagram and deciding to buy. I bought this to save time and money-hoping to be able to skip wax appts for my bikini line. NOPE. Getting waxed is a thousand times LESS painful and actually removes the hair. I was very gentle and still ended up with burning red bloody skin and hair remaining in the areas I tried to treat. I tried it on my leg to see if it was just how my hair was on my bikini line- still wasn’t removing my hair. I’m not sure if it’s my hair/skin or if everyone else is lying for some reason on their IG reviews. This product is definitely not for me. I will say that I had to reach out to customer service because my Apple Pay had the wrong address and they corrected the shipping right away. Now I wish it had gone somewhere else haha

  • Scam. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Before you buy this please read my review! After using this product I was left with burns and blisters, I have never felt this much pain on my skin ever! Not only did it leave me with excruciating pain for a few days, but my hair also wasn't even fully removed! The spots where my hair did fall out I was covered with blood, I couldn't even move after that! It felt like a filer scraping my skin! THis is deceiving marketing, it is extremely painful and does not work! It should come with a warning sign!
