BIRKENSTOCK earns strong reviews for comfort that improves as the contoured cork footbed molds to the foot and for durability that can span years, with icons like Arizona, Boston, Mayari, and EVA slides praised for everyday wear. Reviews also flag drawbacks: a painful break‑in for many, sizing confusion and wide fit, soles and cork that can crack or wear quickly (especially when wet), occasional odor and chafing in heat, and mixed experiences for flat or very high arches.

I have two pairs of Arizona slides, I love them, and I've had them for almost a decade. They offer so much support and is a classic style! I love pairing them with cute socks. They're having a moment right now but I don't see them as a shoe people will throw out after a season or two. It's worth every penny and I get a decent amount of wear out of them every summer!

I recently got Birkenstocks as a gift and I am in love! They are so fashionable and comfy! I wear them almost daily and will be buying as gifts this year at Christmas!
The best shoes! So comfortable and very durable. I love my mules in the fall. I wish everyone didn't love them so I could be unique! But that's Birkenstock's fault for making great shoes!
Lasting through the ages, timeless and essential to any wardrobe. Durable and worth the price - high quality and comfortable essential pieces!
Always loved birkenstock and bought for my family as gifts
They are the OGs for a reason. Quality made, love the different styles, and the more cushioned footbed versions are super comfortable.
Hard to beat birks.
I love these shoes. So comfy and always in style. I have no issues. They wash beautifully and seem to last me forever. I'm even hard on shoes and they don't bust up or budge. I have less knee pain too when I use 'em.
These sandals are minimalist straps made from smooth leather amplify the timeless sophistication of this breezy and lightly cushioned sandal. Very comfortable when I wear them all day. I love them.

I'm a lifelong, biased Birk fan. I've had several pairs, and currently have several pairs, all of which have been the leather and cork varieties, just different models. No matter what you do, you can always clean up your birks. I've had one pair re-soled as well, which I'm unsure I'll do again due to cost, but it is amazing that a pair of sandals can persist through that. You can often find Birkenstocks on sale or at outlet/discount stores, making the value truly worth every penny. They're timeless and comfortable, what more could you want? Avoid the plastic/PEVA/foam varieties.
A bit hard on my feet causing me to cramp but I do like the style!

Obvi can’t go wrong with Birkenstock… they are the best and so many of my family members have them over any other brand! Definitely worth the buy and the quality is amazing they last forever
had them for 10 years. great quality
I hate to fall prey to the bougieness, but Birkenstocks are insanely comfortable and worth the hype. They hold up well and there’s a reason every department store has a cheapo version of their own mimicking them!
Love these shoes and work great

This is my all time favorite shoe. I bought my first pair when I was 14 and I still have the same pair at 25. I love them so much. I was also informed at the store that they can replace any part of the Birkenstock so you never have to actually throw the whole shoe away if something goes wrong with it. I cannot emphasize how amazing this shoe is
Birkenstocks are the only shoes I ever want to leave the house in. Even in the winter, I'm that weirdo wearing socks with their sandals. I have the Gizeh and Arizona styles and love them both. They are super comfortable and have molded to my foot bed over time. I do with they held up a little better. I have to reapply cork glue every now and then to freshen them up. They also don't do well in water, so I avoid them on rainy days.
