Bought for my grandma who has very narrow feet and she loves the sneakers! Super easy to wash. When the sizing was off she had no issues with making a return.

Didn't realize their brand motto was "Birdies makes comfortable slippers that look designer shoes"... they do look like designer shoes and they're also super comfortable. Great price point too! I've owned multiple pairs and they do pretty well when resold on Poshmark.
They are hands down the most comfortable shoes I have worn - I usually the wear the black velvet pair to work in the summer. I live in NYC so they're great for the commute.

Maybe its just me... but I wish they were more breathable. They're not the best when it's humid out and wicking sweat becomes an issue.
I love how comfortable and professional these shoes look. They truly feel like slippers, and there is a lot more cushioning than the average loafer-type shoe. They're work appropriate, and you can wear them to drinks after because they're so comfy!

The shoes fit true to size, but need a little breaking in before. A little note on that would've been helpful (on the website, or on the box or something) - I've seen other shoe brands make note of that for customers.

These were recommended to me by a friend who shared a discount code for my first purchase (which gave me the final push I needed given the price point). I'm so glad I took the leap and bought the Startling velvet black flats. These are not only beautiful but also extremely comfortable ! I'm definitely planning on buying a leather pair next.

They are a little snug when you first get them and take a little while to wear in but that was expected.
