  • I was given one of these while working in a 135° attic here in Texas and it was fantastic. Then I looked at the ingredients... and I was even more impressed with it. The flavor I was given was "Cheatcode", which is also referred to as Passionfruit Pineapple, and that's the flavor I now buy for myself, in large part because of its beet root content in addition to the other adaptogens that all of the flavors contain. Based on the ingredients and nutrition information, I don't believe that a healthier sports drink exists... this even has Ashwagandha and Shiitake Mushroom, neither of which can be found in drinks like Gatorade or Body Armour, plus it's light, refreshing and delicious. As someone who not only works out, but also does extremely labor-intensive work in extremely adverse environments, this drink is a godsend; I couldn't recommend it more strongly!

  • I've tried almost all the flavors from this brand. My favorites were the Concord Grape and Malibu Punch. Black Cherry was alright, and the Lemon Lime was just weird. The Lemon Lime one I tried had what looked like pulp or something floating at the bottom of it. I'm not sure if that was intentional or if the bottle I got was spoiled somehow. It tasted sour, but I expected that from a Lemon Lime flavor regardless. None of the other bottles had anything floating at the bottom, so that's why I'm not sure if that was supposed to be there.

  • I got the lemon lime flavor and enjoyed it! It tasted like a healthier Gatorade. I don't usually love these kind of drinks but I liked Barcode.

My biggest problem with Barcode is that it wasn't clear on the packaging that it contained adaptogens. I don't particularly mind that but I do think it would have been helpful to know vs. starting to drink it and seeing it on the packaging. Obviously there's not a lot of clarity on those ingredients but I would have liked to know.

  • One of my new favorite drinks of this year! It tastes really good (I recommend the watermelon flavor) and I usually drink it after a workout. Definitely recommend!

  • If you have a watermelon flavor you win in my book. This drink was really tasty! I felt well hydrated after drinking it, plus it's much healthier than a lot of drinks in that category. I'll be getting more for a post workout (or hungover) drink!

More flavors please! I'd love a berry one.

  • The best sports drink [ever?]. No harmful chemicals, no wasteful dyes and just the perfect amount of vitamins and minerals to keep you hydrated. Concord grape is my absolute favorite!

  • I found this right down the street from my home, not even 2 min away. I got the lemon lime flavor because I love all things lemon lime. The cashier had trouble ringing it up because he kept trying to scan the logo for Barcode, so I had to point out the actual bar code. Very refreshing without tasting like sugar substitute. I enjoyed it a lot! Would buy again.

  • I absolutely love this drink! The branding is genius, but it tastes SO GOOD! Usually adaptogen-powered drinks don't always taste the best but I love this drink. Reminds me a lot of Body Armor if you've had that!

  • I was pleasantly surprised by this, I was expecting something very artificial for some reason, but this turned out being very light and refreshing. Drank it after a workout since it had electrolytes and I really enjoyed the taste. I tried Lemon Lime. Would totally buy again. Packaging is unique as well.

  • I had the watermelon flavor, it was yummier than I thought it would be! Would buy it again. Not too much notice in the hydration benefits, but I'd buy it just as a yummy flavored drink.

  • Pretty decent product but it hypes itself up as a sports drink without having much to show for it. I thought maybe it would be packed with electrolytes, and while it does have some and has a decent amount of potassium and magnesium, it’s lacking in sodium which is the main electrolyte lost during exercise. In terms of taste, it was enjoyable. I wouldn’t have guessed that there’s no added sugar because it tastes pretty similar to sugar filled fruit punch drinks. Had the slightest of aftertastes but I wouldn’t say it ruined it. Overall, it’s decent but if you’re looking for a sports drink, this wouldn’t be my first suggestion.

  • I got the concord grape, tasted a lot like medicine. very artificial flavor which might be because of the laundry list of ingredients in this drink. Overall it seems like it’s a healthier option but the flavor was not for me

  • I am obsessed. From flavor to the AR of the bottle to the community they are building, Barcode is an example of a brand who is truly innovative and rebuilding a niche and following their own playbook. I love the watermelon. It tastes like a jolly rancher without all the unnecessary sugar.
