Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

Banza was one of the first in the market for alternative grain pastas. Since, I'm impressed with the brand's innovation and wide scope of products offered. Their pasta provides a high protein alternative to traditional pastas. Their Mac and cheese also gives Kraft Mac vibes. I can't wait to try the pizza.
Feedback
texture is not as congruent with what pasta as other alternative grain alternatives.

Really solid frozen pizza! I tried the Supreme and Margherita pizzas and really enjoyed them. It's probably going to be my mainstay for frozen pizza because of how much more healthy it is.

Still frozen pizza? Haha.

I love Banza pasta! So many wheat alternative pastas have a poor texture or a flavor that clashes with the dish. With Banza I have none of those issues and a nice kick of protein which is always a plus for those on a vegetarian diet.

Just more wonderful products, please!

Hands down the BEST healthy mac and cheese ever! I had gestational diabetes and Banza save me through my pregnancy.

Banza sent me their chickpea pizza crusts. I was skeptical before I tried it but was super impressed by the texture and flavor profile. I'm a huge fan of banza pasta, and was really pleased with the pizza as well. It's become a staple for me.

I tried the pasta and it was ok for a grain free type of pasta. It wasn’t as mushy, which other gluten free pastas can tend to get soggy/mushy after boiling in water. I love that it is high in protein.

It will make you toot! I don’t know what it is about chickpeas, but it tends to process in the stomach and create gas.

I find myself eating banza at least 2-3 days of every week. It's so incredibly easy to prepare and feels virtuous because of the ingredient list! As a former Gluten Free'er, this is one of the items I will continue to buy and enjoy.

I really love it. I can't think of one thing that needs improving!

Great healthy alternative to pasta and pizza. Good ingredients. If you don't cook perfectly, the pasta can get a little chewy.

Love the pizza. It makes dinner simple and requires just a few ingredients. I opt for the plain crust so I can have fun with the toppings.

Chickpea heaven but also fine line for chickpea substitutes. I don’t recommend if you don’t like the taste of chickpea because the crust definitely gives off that vibe. That said, it’s a really good alternative to your classic frozen grocery store pizza if you do like it. Contrary to popular belief though, it’s not much healthier than your classic pizza.

Crispier crust and taste less like a veggie and more like a pizza.

These are favorite noodles! We have trie lots of GF noodles over the years and this is by far our favorite! I love how much protein and fiber it has, so I don't need to feel guilty about letting my kids eat mac and cheese :)
Feedback
I wish the mac and cheese had a bit more cheese.

Love their products! The pasta is so great, it tastes really good.

The pasta easily overcooks if you leave it more than a minute over of the recommended time.

I've had the mini-shell pasta; it's got that slight chickpea taste but overall good for being GF friendly.
Feedback
It takes much longer to cook than you'd like, so just letting people know this up front would help with better meal planning.

Banza is bomb. A pasta that is always in my rotation. Can't say I've tried the pizza, but their Mac and cheese helps make a decadence feel a little more healthy!

Delicious protein-heavy pasta.
Feedback
Price point is a bit high, compared to the average item value in the pasta category. Their spaghetti has a gritty texture, and is the only pasta shape from their line-up I would not recommend.

Look, if I could eat pizza every night, I would. But I can't. That said, Banza's chickpea pizza makes me feel like I'm not really cheating when I indulge in a few slices. Knowing that I'm not overloading on gluten while still getting the added protein is a trade I'll take every day.
Feedback
I'm not even sure if this is possible with a chickpea base, but one of the things I love about traditional pizzas is the bubbly, imperfectly chewy and charred crust. Banza's is quite uniform so any way to make it a bit more *wild* would be appreciated. That and more topping creativity!
