  • These sauces are amazing. Add some white rice and chicken and you have a quick, great tasting meal. I’ve been looking for a sauce like the Japanese bbq one for awhile, and will be buying this again when I run out.

  • A great and versatile sauce. We love trying all the different flavors, the Miso is my favorite. Makes any meal a lot better and packs a punch without needing a lot. My only complaint is the price seems a bit high for the amount.

  • overall a solid sauce to keep in your pantry. i've tried a few of the varieties: original, yuzu, and spicy—I personally think that the original is the one I'll keep coming back to, as it's the most basic and versatile? I've used it as a quick finisher topping AND as an overnight marinade for meat and fish dishes. The flavor is savory and sweet, but I will say that I also don't find the flavor to be particularly innovative or have a high wow factor. I do appreciate the packaging and branding—it's cute and brings an element of delight to my product experience.

  • I am obsessed with Bachans Japanese barbecue sauce, I literally put it on everything. I use it as a marinade, while cooking, or as a topping. The ingredients are simple and the sugar isn’t too bad surprisingly even though it’s very sweet. Makes everything taste better!

  • I love these sauces! So far I have tried the Japanese bbq GF and the Japanese bbq orig! Both are great, full of flavor, and make fun sauces to put on a variety of different meals. I wish they had less soy content for people who are more soy sauce sensitive, but I understand that is the whole point of this sauce! Worth the price because it lasts for a long time!

  • Very yummy sauce! Teriyaki sauce is fairly easy to make, but I love this sauce for its convenience and overall great taste. It can be a little sweet so I often use it as a base and add soy sauce, chili oil, sesame oil, gochugaru, etc. to cut the sweetness. I've used both the original and the yuzu, and I think I prefer the yuzu! Once again, the brightness of the yuzu really cuts through the sweetness. I use it mostly when marinating chicken or making fried rice! I like that their website actually gives you recipes for their various sauces which broadcasts the sauces' versatility.
