Reviews mention

  • Luxurious, earthy fragrance profiles
  • Elegant, minimalist packaging
  • Indulgent, sensorial hand washes
  • Compliment-worthy, unisex perfumes
  • Excessive, premium price point
  • Inconsistent perfume scent longevity
  • Plastic, leaky pump bottles
  • Irritating, fragrance-heavy skincare

Aesop earns strong reviews for luxurious scents, elegant packaging, and body-care standouts like Resurrection and Reverence Aromatique Hand Washes, yet opinions split on value. Reviews praise sensorial formulas that feel indulgent and often effective for hands and body, while noting weaknesses: high prices, plastic/leaky pumps, perfumes with short longevity, and some skincare that irritates sensitive skin or underperforms.

  • Love their products, brand ethos and the wonderful shopping experience (in-store boutique, website navigation, customer service, etc.) - I always recommend their products to my friends and family. I've had a good test of all product varieties from the deodorant, perfume, body care, haircare to skincare. The only ones I have yet to test is performance of body wash/hand wash items (although I hear only good things about them from those who have used them before) and their teeth care products. I find the scents really unique and beautiful, the formulation of products are so well made and work as described. No issues at all - except maybe the price point (however it is expected to may that cost for what they are, also compared to competitor items). Their brand is absolutely amazing, the company values, community engagement, everything. Such a good business.

No changes really, maybe seeing more gift sets/travel sizes to gift for others on a budget cost.

  • When it comes to body care products, Aesop strikes that perfect balance between luxury and everyday. The price point absolutely puts it at luxury status, but the beautiful, nuanced scents and quality fit right into everyday routines. I keep their hand sanitizer and hand cream in my car for an instant dose of happiness, and the slightly abrasive hand soap is another favorite.

With its steep price point, it's not a top brand for me; I typically look to a more affordable brand first, whereas Aesop is reserved for those "special treat" items.

  • My favorite item from Aesop is the hand sanitizer. It smells good without being offensive or drying. I used to use their shampoo and conditioner. The scent is quite calming and refreshing for the summer, but it was a bit drying for my hair type.

    Feedback

Aesop needs to clearly define the alcohol content of the hand sanitizer. I realized recently that they don't claim any sanitizing properties and simply call it an alcohol-based hand wash. SpaceNK says that the alcohol content is 58%-60 ish, which is the bare minimum, if not just below what is necessary to be a reliable hand sanitizer.

  • I have one of the full skincare sets, as well as the room spray, and I absolutely love the scent and feel of these products. They feel so clean, and they look amazing in my home. The home scent is such a game changer.

    Feedback

The price point is high for such simple ingredients, but these items truly stand above the rest.

  • fantastic brand all around. Aesop is bougie on all fronts in terms of how effective their products are and for the price point. Huge fan of their travel sets as a good replenisher everytime I travel. Also their gift sets are crowdpleasers all around. From my college bestie to my great-aunt, I've given them to all sorts of people.

My only one gripe is the price but also the lids on their lotions always break lol. I've bought about 4 of them and each time they've broken and spilled in my bag. Pls fix Aesop girlies

  • I have used the face care and the body products and love and adore the fragrances. The facial oil and the parsley serum have helped my skin recover from dehydration and travel. I love the smell of all of their stuff. As far as skincare goes, I did not see any major skin changes but I liked it - it was just pretty expensive. I have purchased Reverence, Resurrection, In Two Minds face wash and face lotion, the line of Parsley skincare, and the facial oil. The glass bottles, while sustainable, are a little bulky for travel. I loved the hydrating mask sample and would purchase.

  • I tried the body wash and lotion and my GOD, it smells great and leaves my skin smooth. a real boost in confidence. That being said, the products are a bit pricey and I only use on special occasions.

  • I love Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash. It's my favorite soap to have next to my sink. It smells great and looks great. I just with it was still in glass.

  • I really like Aesop soap. It sticks to your hands and smells amazing. I've never had a hand soap that works this well.

  • Luxury products at their finest. I love this brand the look is chic. The smell is intoxicating. The products look aesthetically pleasing in my home.

  • Although pricey Aesop products are a real treat. They smell amazing, the products do what they say on the bottle and feel great on the skin. They also make great travel items or gifts.

  • The Aesop body care does feel very luxurious, and the packaging is very aesthetically pleasing. I love the Resurrection Aromatique scent. However, I've used a lot of things that deliver the same results (if not better) that are considerably cheaper. If you've got the money and product packaging matters to you, absolutely the products are worth it. If not, don't worry, you're not really missing out.

  • Just a win, with pretty much every variety. Products have an air of quality and luxury. Not cheap, but I think reasonably priced for the quality. Shops are a haven and look and feel of the design (product and stores) is spot on for me. Current favs are the body cleansing slab, breathless body oil & rose hair mask.

  • I love their unisex smells. I went to a festival once and the security opened my deo to check I wasn’t sneaking alcohol and loved the scent.

  • It's a bit pricey but I love their hand soap. It's smells very fancy.

  • oddly enough, i don't care much for the soap but am obsessed with Aesop mouthwash.

  • I have purchased a couple items from Aesop, my favourites have included Hwyl Perfume and A Rose By Any Other Name Body Cleanser. I have found the body washes and moisturizers well performing, and long lasting. But the scents of these products! Unmatched! As a fan of spas and massages, using these products is the closest I have come to bringing the spa into my home. Each product has its own personality with a depth and intricacy that harkens a centuries old church or herb garden.

  • Aesop is a well-regarded skincare and beauty brand that is known for its high-quality, natural ingredients and minimalist design. While their products can be quite expensive, many people feel that they are worth the cost for the quality and effectiveness of the products. If you are looking for a luxury skincare brand that prioritizes sustainability and ethical practices, Aesop is definitely worth considering.
