I bought a Zee.Dog Dune harness and shock absorbing leash in January 2026. I really liked the design, but after only around eight months of normal use, the carabiner on the leash has deteriorated significantly. Considering that the leash cost €34.50, I don’t think this is an acceptable lifespan, particularly because the carabiner is a safety critical component. I contacted Zee.Dog, sent them photos showing the condition of the carabiner and explained the situation. Unfortunately, they refused to replace the leash. That was probably the most disappointing part of the experience. Products can occasionally have problems, but how a company responds when something goes wrong says a lot about the brand. Given the relatively short period of use and the fact that this concerns an essential safety component, I expected Zee.Dog to stand behind their product. Great design, but based on my experience, both the durability and the after sales support fell below what I expected from a brand at this price point.
