SUPER fast shipping! I even got it delivered (free) on a SUNDAY! I am so glad I invested (yes, it's quite $$!) as we have gotten two kittens. I would like to note that I purchased the refurbished LR4 version as the price seemed even better to me, and most items I buy are refurbished. The reason I went with Whisker over others was because of the other reviews on ThingTesting and because it was one of the only Litter Robots that allowed me to keep using the litter me and the cats love -- Sustainably Yours (Large Grain)! I brought this home for our 2 kittens (Darth Vader and Lulu the Car) at age 4 months, and I will say that it was very hard for them to get up into it - so I did buy a ramp. One kitten took to it right away, the other kept going to the old stainless steel box... and after a week, they were both fine with it. They do get VERY curious when it runs a cycle - but, I welcome that because I want them to see how it works and not be afraid. The app is super wonderful. It doesn't always get it right for which kitten is using it simply because they weigh so close in weight ... but, I don't mind, I have a camera on it to watch as well. The cycles run really well, I use the sleep mode at night, and the kittens have started to only use the litter robot even though I have another litter box that is old school stainless steel. Back to the app - it is pretty good at telling me when to empty it, but it won't reset after you dump the bag of waste out until you run a new cycle - that's normal. The app lets me know when the use the toilet, which honestly - I appreciate because I still have trauma from sick cats not using litter boxes properly... so, this sets my mind at ease. The app also estimates the litter amount, and that has been really spot on as well. I included a couple images of the app here - as I haven't seen many pictures of the actual app in use and it's the thing I use the most... Next, and finally - I will say for two cats, this was absolutely the smart move - I went from scooping 3x a day - to 1 (if they ever occasionally use the old box) otherwise... none! NONE! That's amazing... and the smell is much better - which was the other concern for me. I'm glad I invested, and if you're on the fence - do the refurbished one - the warranty is still great, it works great, and I'm glad I made this investment.
