Reviews mention

  • Stylish, contemporary frame designs
  • Seamless home try-on experience
  • Helpful, knowledgeable staff
  • Durable, long-wearing options
  • Easily smudging, scratch-prone lenses
  • Loosening screws and hinges
  • Inconsistent fit for low bridges
  • Occasionally flimsy-feeling frames

Warby Parker earns strong reviews for stylish, flattering frames, an effortless buying experience (virtual and Home Try‑On), and consistently helpful in‑store service and adjustments. Reviews also flag recurring weaknesses: lenses that smudge and scratch easily, frames that loosen or feel flimsy, limited fit/size variety (especially narrow, wide, and low-bridge), and occasional prescription or complex-Rx fulfillment issues—plus some durability concerns and mixed feedback on Scout contacts.

  • Absolutely love my glasses and have used their at home try-on multiple times.

Offer more frames. I wanted another pair of glasses that were just blue light (to wear with my contacts) vs. using my regular glasses and landed on the exact same pair I already had being the best option they offered.

  • I love the frame options and the different size options. I also really like the quality. My only issue is that they can be a bit fragile but it's usually after a year or two of use.

  • So easy. I used this brand for my current glasses and will 100% use again when I need new ones. Super easy to use, love the virtual try on capability as well.

  • I've gotten a few Warby Parker glasses and have enjoyed the experience every time. I have never gotten an eye exam because they are out of network for me and I can get one for free with insurance. It's wild but buying Warby Parker glasses out of network and getting reimbursed is always less expensive than buying cute glasses in network. Love that they don't have any branding on them too.

  • Pretty affordable and decent quality. The lenses scratch easily for me, but I admittedly am not the most careful. In store they're always super helpful. Try on system is great.

More options for home try on

  • I love Warby Parker as it is one of the very few independent glasses brands out there. I have been wearing Warby Parker glasses for over 8 years now and I thoroughly love the design, ease, and entire experience of buying these glasses. You are able to try them on in-person or online and you know what they look like, you can apply insurance to these frames, the frames are aesthetic and modern, Warby is a 10/10 imo. I do not recommend any other glasses brand to my friends and family besides Warby. Their employees are also helpful when it comes to helping make the frames fit better to your face and also walking you step by step on when it will arrive, etc.

Possibly pricing! There is certainly a barrier to entry for Warby Parker and I appreciate that they keep their prices consistent throughout the many years; however, some frames can be $200, which is quite a lot if you do not have insurance.

  • Easy purchase online—very seamless! I love my frames and it was a simple step to add you prescription. And the prices are so much better than eyeglass shops. Highly recommend!

  • Great customer service, fast shipping times, quality frames. I’ve purchased many pairs from Warby Parker.

  • I tried Warby Parker when they first started out. I wore a pair of their glasses for a few years and did enjoy them. The try on process is pretty painless and gives you the chance to really be sure you like the frames. Only thing I didn’t really like were the quality of the lenses - they just felt super different than lenses you traditionally get at the eye doctor.

  • I’ve purchased (2) prescription glasses, my family also has purchased here. We have all loved our experience with this company. Their products are timeless yet trendy, their products are amazing quality, and the try at home option is seamless.

  • Have been getting my glasses from them for the past couple of years. They make the process so incredibly simply with their home try-ons. Their customer service is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Very responsive and helpful.

  • From browsing to checkout to receive the product itself, there’s so much to love about Warby Parker. Their virtual try-on provides a more realistic offering than most online optical shops and their style choices can’t be beat. I’m constantly receiving compliments on my glasses and enjoy that their classic design will last the test of time and trend.

    More options for wider faces.

  • Solid for sunglasses and glasses alike! Always helpful to order a few styles to try on.

Wish there were some more styles

  • Tbh these are too expensive for what they are… plastic glasses. But the whole concept and store experience is unmatched. I love that you can get your prescription checked in store. The variety is good too

    Would make these cheaper

  • I wear mine daily and get compliments all the time. Sadly, when a pair of limited edition frames I had a few years back broke, they were unable to help me. Still searching for that signature look those glasses gave me.

  • Great selection and great price. Only problem is narrowing done to just one pair to buy.

  • Cool and affordable! I have horrible eyesight and they were able to offer me the option to make my glass thinner and stylish for the frames I selected. The process of ordering try-on pairs is easy and genius! I have two pairs now!

    More trendy styles

  • I visited the store on 4th Ave in Vancouver and had a great experience. I had my eye-test carried out first by the optometrist on site then selected a pair of glasses. I found the staff onsite to be very patient and helpful. I've had my glasses for almost a year now and have nothing negative to report.
