I have both the original tool and the mini. It is effective on some surfaces like my rug, but found it is not that easy to use on clothing and furniture surfaces.

This tool is literally the best at picking up my dogs hair which was kinda gross seeing how much was leftover even after a good vacuum. It was honestly so satisfying scraping it out of my carpet tho. Love this thing

works really well. It really is soft enough for me to use on my pet.
