Reviews mention

  • Luxurious glass packaging aesthetics
  • Botanical, spa-like fragrance profile
  • Clinically tested, effective formulations
  • Noticeable glow and texture improvements
  • Powder booster poor solubility
  • Lip treatment light hydration
  • Toner potency diminishes over time
  • Sunscreen white cast, weak protection

True Botanicals earns positive reviews for effective standouts like the Pure Radiance Oil, Vitamin C Booster, and Chebula Active Serum, which deliver smoother texture, glow, and melasma reduction, and for luxurious, botanical scents and glass packaging. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some formulas underwhelm for acne or intense lip hydration, a niacinamide booster that doesn’t fully dissolve, toner potency fade, heavily scented body care not face-friendly for some, and a sunscreen with white cast and inadequate protection.

  • Luxe dark glass packaging holds a powder booster for your preferred moisturizer. True Botanicals Niacinamide & Biotin booster is easy to use. It doesn’t dissolve though. I use this at night so it doesn’t interfere with my day routine.

  • Obsessed with everything about this body oil. On top of the fact that it smells like you just stepped into a high end spa, it feels amazing! My skin feels so nourished and drinks this up! It is costly, but worth the splurge.

  • The True Botanicals Chebula Active Serum stands out in the clean beauty market for its effective blend of natural, potent ingredients aimed at addressing multiple signs of aging. While the price point is on the higher end, the clinical results and positive user experiences suggest it may be a worthwhile investment for those seeking to enhance their skincare routine with a product that delivers visible improvements.

  • Nice brand and good products overall. The prices are a bit high for what it is but if you're ok with splurging then this is a good brand. I bought their products through Credo. I will say the amount they give you is a good amount so also makes it more worth the price.

  • I received a handful of True Botanical’s products through a collaboration with them! Let me just say this - LUXURIOUS! These products have changed my skin so much! The Pure Radiance Oil has been a game changer for me and has made such an impact on the texture and overall glow of my skin! Totally will be purchasing once I finish this bottle!

  • The texture is lightweight and silky, not too thick or sticky like some overnight lip masks. It applies smoothly and absorbs well into the lips without leaving an overly greasy residue. However, it does have a slightly oily consistency rather than the traditional balm-like feel, which some may not prefer. While it does provide moisture, I wouldn’t call it the most intensely hydrating lip treatment I’ve tried. If your lips are extremely dry or chapped, you might need something more occlusive to lock in hydration. It does leave lips feeling softer by morning, but the effects aren’t dramatically different from a high-quality lip balm. If you use it consistently, you may notice a subtle improvement in the smoothness of your lips over time. One of the standout features is that it’s free of artificial fragrances and flavors. The natural scent is mild and earthy, but there is a slight oil-like taste that may not be for everyone. In my opinion, I didn't like the scent on my lips.

  • I really tried to like this product. I thought it would be better to try more natural approach because I usually buy a mix of natural and chemical especially products that my dermatologist recommends however when I tried the sunscreen I definitely got sunburned while using it. I use the entire bottle, but I could feel myself getting sunburned and I would have to reapply another sunscreen on top. The texture was also really weird and left a bad white cast.

  • I enjoyed the face oil and the resurfacing mask. However, I like trying different face oils in general and couldn't find a reason to keep using True Botanicals. I wouldn't say that the "Clear" face oil was particularly effective at battling acne, especially cystic acne.

  • I've tried the body oil and body exfoliant. They smell wonderful. I'm not sure how much the exfoliant actually did in a pre-shower ritual but the scent was so nice that I'm not sure it matters. Unfortunately I would never put such scented products on my face so I don't think there are many other things I can tryin the product lineup.

  • Currently on my second bottle of Vitamin C booster - my skin always looks better when I use it. It makes my skin feel even, calm and it chips away at a large melasma spot better than any other product I've used. It lasts forever as well and is SO easy to use. Currently I'm sprinkling it into their Pure Radiance Oil before bed, but in the past I've just mixed it with a little water (Avene spray) and rubbed it on. I don't usually notice significant changes with face products, but definitely with this one. If you don't know, Vitamin C is unstable so having it in a powder form is a great way to activate just when needed. True Botanicals feel lux, real and fresh.

    Feedback

I initially was introduced to the product line via a shampoo and conditioner. They didn't stand out to me as anything I needed to keep purchasing. However, because I like Radiance Oil and vitamin C powder so much, I might give them a try again.

  • Very gentle skincare products that make your skin feeling amazing. Favorites are a cleansing balm, resurfacing mask, and body scrub. The packaging looks so luxurious.

Certainly great skincare products but quite pricey.

  • this brand is great, definitely a high end price point but the products are solid... love the cleanser (in shower), mist spray (after shower), oils (once a wk), and the repair serum combo (once a wk)... great scent profile as well...

  • Love this brand and the fact that it has undergone clinical testing vs juggernauts like Creme de La Mer. Love the founder's personal story as a cancer survivor + commitment to nontoxic ingredients. The Radiance Oil, Nutrient Toner & Nourishing Cleanser are mainstays. Everything smells amazing, lightly scented & botanical. The shampoo and conditioner are wonderful - I suffer from dandruff and oily hair and my scalp + hair health has never been better.

    Feedback

The Toner tends to lose its potency after being kept open for a while. The glass packaging is beautiful and sustainable but I had to get the Toner replaced because it shattered in transit. I believe there's been a rebrand since - the picture on here is outdated - but the rebrand look + feel feels a bit more downmarket somehow. Finally -very pricey, obviously. I've waited for the Black Friday sale to nab the set.

  • True Botanicals Radiance Oil “Calm” has improved my skin noticeably. I have extremely sensitive skin and breakout with most beauty lines. Unfortunately TB basic oiI and serums were too harsh for my skin. I have dry red skin and this Calm oil feels so soothing. I use it mainly when I’m not going out as it stays oily for quite a while. I feel like it’s more of a treatment. I’ve been using it about 5 years and have received a lot of compliments.

  • Lovely products, feel clean and luxurious. I feel very confident buying these products as they are transparent about their ingredients and provenance.
