Reviews mention

  • Luxurious textures and packaging
  • Gentle, effective rice cleansers
  • Hydrating, glow-boosting moisturizers
  • Silky, pore-blurring primer
  • Occasionally heavy, sticky finishes
  • Fragrance irritates sensitive skin
  • Inconsistent sunscreen elegance
  • Mixed, average visible results

Tatcha earns largely positive reviews as a luxurious, effective skincare line, with standouts like The Dewy Skin Cream, The Water Cream, The Rice Wash/Polish, Camellia Cleansing Oil, and The Silk Canvas primer delivering soft, glowy, smooth skin and strong makeup prep. However, reviewers flag weaknesses: some formulas feel heavy or sticky, fragrance irritates sensitive skin, sunscreens and a few moisturizers underwhelm, and results can be average relative to hype.

  • Water cream didn’t do much for me nor did the dewy skin cream but the texture and packaging are nice. Just wasn’t for me. I did really enjoy the Liquid Silk Canvas primer however but the price was hard to justify, so I never repurchased.

  • I love, love, love their products. If you want moisture for your skin, this is it.

The water cream is wonderful. It is moisturizing and also soaks right in.

  • Love the rice face wash and dewy serum. As someone with sensitive skin, these products do not irritate my skin and I love how neutral they are.

  • A bit overpriced for highly fragranced products when better quality skincare is abundant in the market for the same price point.

  • I have used Tacha's Dewy Skin Cream and Dewy Skin Mist. While the products *feel* luxurious and rich and come in really pretty packaging, I didn't find them to be impacting my skin in any positive ways. For a product this expensive I would at the very least like to see improvements in skin that I've seen from cheaper alternatives. The Dewy Skin Mist doesn't even do half the job of my other facial mist that is 1/3rd the price. Very disappointed as I wanted to like Tatcha and will sadly not be purchasing again.

If you're not looking to address any skin concerns and are already happy with your skin this could work for you and feel really nice on the skin.

  • I received a Tatcha set of lotion and serum as a Sephora birthday gift and I'm obsessed! The smell, the texture...everything was so good. I usually don't spend a lot on skincare, so I'm glad I got to try a sample and be introduced to a new brand that I like.

  • Makeup and skincare vary so much from person to person. I loved the packaging and branding but over all found the product to be overpriced and irritated my sensitive skin.

I'd like to see formulations that don't have mica, or fragrance.

  • I got a Tatcha skin care kit for my travel bag and was convinced to buy the full sized equivalents! It was very hydrating.

For some reason I didn't continue to purchase these items - I wish the packaging was a bit more modern.

  • Not the biggest fan of their products. Minimal difference was seen & felt when using their skincare products, so I have opted for more cost-friendly products with better ingredients.

  • Love this product! Super luxury feeling with gentile, clean ingredients. Makes skin refreshed and clean. Especially love the rice powder wash and moisturizers.

  • Pricey, but really love their produce lines. You can tell that they're high quality and work well for my sensitive skin.

  • Cute packaging but it totally caused a rash on my face. The products work well but the fragrance is overwhelming.

    Expensive and overly fragranced

  • So pricey, but I started using the dewy moisturizers ages ago and nothing can compare. Their exfoliants and serums are also amazing. Definitely an investment, but if I had the cash I would use all their stuff.

  • I'm totally hooked on Tatcha! From the pore-filling primer and kissu lip mask, and the whole gang – Dewy skin cream, ageless revitalize line, oil cleanser, rice cleanser, vitamin C mask and serum, serum stick, neck cream – I've tried them all and love 'em. Snagging these sets when there’s a TSV on the Q and setting up auto delivery is my skincare game plan. It's not just for me; I love gifting them to friends and family when they’re in the value sets too. These products are legit essentials in my routine. Sure, the price tag is up there, but catching them when they’re heavily discounted makes it a no-brainer. They're crazy hydrating, and I've never had a breakout or irritation issue. Tatcha, is my skincare superhero!

  • I got some face cleanser and moisturizer and it was all pretty watery. I was not impressed with the quality. The price was high for what I felt was low quality

  • From the cleanser to sunscreen, moisturizer and more, I've really enjoyed trying out Tatcha's product. The dewy skin cream is like butter. I use it as a moisture barrier on my face before I apply my make-up on and everything goes on smoothly. I also really enjoyed the Tatcha silken sunscreen and primer for awhile. If you like that blurred and matte finish, I highly recommend that as a 2-in-1 base.
