Way to surgery for a non suger cereal. Let’s get this stright, they have swapped the suger for sweeteners and sweeteners are not exzacly healthy. The amount they have used here is ridiculous. Half the amount of sweetners and then half again and maybe you could call it healthy. I like the fact it’s high protein as on a plant based diet you don’t tend to get much but way to much “suger “ for me. Gave a small bowl to my 5 year old and he was bouncing off the walls , will stick to the bear cereal for him. 

Before tasting this cereal I was already puzzled by the concept. Kids cereal for adults? As an adult I would go for a nice nutty, seedy muesli with fresh fruit if I was after a healthy breakfast option...

OK, testing Surreal.  First I read the ingredients... and was mighty disappointed. It's got no natural healthy ingredients like nuts, fruit, seeds, anything like that. It's just basically pea and soya protein and sweetener. 

On to looks, it basically looks like a very small packet of Cheerios. Every flavour resembles Cheerios in appearance and colour.

OK, now for the taste. I ate 1 or 2 of each Cheerio shaped flavour. Sorry, but after the first one I couldn't swallow any of the others and had to spit them out.
Afterwards I had to actually rinse my mouth out with water several times to get rid of the horrible lingering chemical sweetener aftertaste. I know it doesn't have aspartame in it - it's stevia and erythritol - but they've used FAR too much sweetener!!! It's horribly, sickly, overpoweringly sweet. All of the flavours taste very similar, with this nasty chemical sweetness adding to the artificial salted caramel flavour or cinnamon flavour. 

Luckily I hadn't actually bought this cereal substitute myself, I tasted some that a friend had bought. At twice the price and a quarter the size of a regular sized box of Cheerios and tasting this horrible, I would never ever ever waste my money on this crap.

Sampled four flavors – caramelized biscuit, frosted, cookies and cream, and cocoa. The cereal itself was okay, but each flavor had a slightly stale texture, and the taste consistency was lacking. The caramelized biscuit was overpowering, making it hard to enjoy, while the cookies and cream were disappointingly bland. The cocoa flavor stood out as the best, but overall, none of them brought back the nostalgic taste of childhood cereals.

It's incredibly sweet. Far, far too sweet. The sweetness lingers for so long in the mouth after even just a few pieces. They could halve the sweetener, for sure, and it'd be better for it.

Texture is okay, box is tiny, price is high. 

I really tried so hard to get on with these but had to bin them in the end.
They are low on sugar and carbs, but they are higher in caleries (+sweetner) than regular cereal.
They are hard (felt like eating cat buscuits) which are not softended after longer exposure to milk.
The biggest issue with it is the aftertaste of sweetner doesn't go away after several hours.  The flavours repeat on you, and I actually felt poisioned after eating them -- like the feeling you get during a hangover.  I stupidly tried all 4 flavours and pretty much felt similar after each.
Also as a side note, they come in really small boxes for the money, you would be lucky to get 5 bowls out of each box unless you ration them, which works out around £1.35 per bowl if you include delivery.
Whilst I'm at it, I might as well mention I also got incorrect delivery notifications coming from Surreal when ordered, and they also will never respond to emails.
I just can't find anything redeeming about Surreal at all sorry folks, apart from the apparent "free mustache" you can cut out of the box! :D

It tastes a bit like cardboard. With other things, like in a yoghurt bowl, it’s edible. I wouldn’t purchase again.

as someone who's been vegan and on the sugar free diet for many years - it's difficult to find a product that focuses on both those qualities, upon coming across this item, i am happy to say i very much look forward to having a lil portion a day, the taste as well as texture is right up my alley and hope these stay around for a long time

i agree that they're a lil on the pricey side but in my opinion, they're worth it 

Tastes weird , like artificial sweetener with really nasty aftertaste - wouldn’t eat it again

The branding is cute and the social media page has lots of funny stuff, but I realized I got a bit tired of the cinammon flavor before I was halfway through the bag. 

Very bland, processed flavours and awful texture. For the cost per box you would expect a way better product, but sadly it is all just branding and the product itself is very very poor
