Reviews mention

  • Invisible, weightless application
  • Makeup-friendly, primer texture
  • No white-cast formulas
  • Wide, innovative assortment
  • Occasional oily finish
  • Eye-stinging spray/mist
  • Pilling with some routines
  • Limited tint shade range

Supergoop! earns largely positive reviews for making daily SPF wearable and effective, with Unseen Sunscreen, Glowscreen, and PLAY praised for clear application, no white cast, and makeup-friendly textures. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some formulas feel oily or silicone-heavy, can sting eyes or cause breakouts, Glowscreen separates or runs shiny, shade range needs expansion, and several users question ingredients or SPF efficacy versus cheaper K‑beauty dupes.

  • Love this sunscreen and how it makes me skin look, but can be problematic for acne prone skin

  • I have sensitive skin and struggled to find a face sunscreen that was gentle enough to use every day. This one is perfect! It’s downsides are that it’s quite pricey and I don’t wear makeup daily so don’t need the primer-style benefits.

  • I can't say enough good things about this brand. I've used their glowscreen, unseen sunscreen, Play sunscreen, (re)setting powder, and (re)setting spray. All products are effective, lightweight, and don't have any heavy scents. The glowscreen makes a great makeup primer and is perfect for a no-makeup day. The unseen sunscreen goes on so smoothly and isn't tacky or oily. I've used the (re)setting powder in the part of my hair to prevent scalp sunburn and it worked like a charm!

  • we get the big bucket of this for summertime for our whole family and use it all summer long. one of my favorite sunscreens

  • Best of the best! Get that glow with out any UV rays. I use as make up now! Please stop and ask what I am wearing all the time.

  • Unseen has a great gel-like feel and great non-greasy look. I wear it every day!

  • I’ve been using Supergoop for years now. I am EXTREMELY fair skinned and get burnt very easily. With these products I’ve never gotten burnt! I’ve used the spray on very hot days and the coverage is amazing. Right now I use the Glow Screen daily as my only makeup. I’m not a foundation girl, so this is a great way to protect my skin and get a little glow going. A little bit goes a long way and while the price may seem high, it’s well worth it and will last a long time!

  • Not a fan of this brand. Way overpriced and only bought bc of the packaging. The formula is SOOO greasy and oily and it’s not worth your money.

  • Very much an overrated trendy brand. Do the products do their job? Yes they do. Are they worth the "trendiness" markup? Nope. Honestly, you can pretty much get the same results from the copper tone clear sunscreen for double the product and half the price.

  • I absolutely love the unseen sunscreen. It’s perfect for darker skin tones and really melts into skin like a dream

  • Every product I’ve tried works well—they have great texture and blendability and feel nourishing. Great packaging. Definitely worth the expense. I’ve used almost every product!

  • I've used a variety of Supergoop products and for the most part, loved them! The packaging is cute, the formulas don't irritate my skin and the price points are reasonable. My only issue is that some of the products will pill on my skin when used in combination with my other skin care products which is not ideal. Th Supergoop brightening SPF eye cream dispenser also tends to get clogged with each use, but it's a great product for brightening and protecting undereyes.

  • I love their glow screen, just wish they were bigger considering how much sunscreen is required, and compared to Korean and Japanese sunscreens, which are cheaper and far more comfortable on the skin, it’s hard to rate any American sunscreen a perfect 5.

  • I have tried the Unseen Sunscreen and I find that sometimes it makes me break out. It goes on pretty oily, but I've never gotten burned when I am wearing it. I've found I want to keep using it though (although maybe its because of the price)

  • I love the ingredients + the glory look I get. I have combo skin and my greasy areas don't get worse like with some SPFs!

  • I love the variety of options supergoop offers, but I’ve never ended up as happy with these over other brands. I do, however, love their face mist and the stick for quick and easy reapplication when out and about!!

  • This brand made sunscreen feel cute and fun again rather than an everyday chore. I personally love the handscreen. I keep the big bottle by my desk at work and carry a travel bottle in my purse at all times. I also like that they sell their everyday lotion in a big 18 oz pump. My only qualm is that some of their products err on the side of skincare and makeup instead of sunscreen so I doubt I or anyone else is using the FDA-recommended amount. I'm thinking specifically of their daily dose line, mineral powder, setting spray, glow screen, and unseen sunscreen. They're all great products on their own, but I wouldn't recommend them as your one and only SPF sources.
