Reviews mention

  • Invisible, primer-like finish
  • Lightweight, elegant textures
  • Reliable, broad protection
  • No-cast, melanin-friendly formulas
  • Occasionally oily residue
  • Inconsistent shade range
  • Pilling under makeup
  • Separation in some formulas

Supergoop! wins strong reviews for making daily SPF genuinely wearable and effective, with Unseen Sunscreen praised as weightless, invisible, and makeup‑primer smooth, and Glow Screen loved for its luminous tint; however, many reviews flag greasiness, pilling, breakouts, and mixed protection on long, hot days. Reviewers applaud no white cast, diverse textures, kid‑friendly PLAY, and on‑the‑go formats, while citing weaknesses like chemical scent, occasional separation, limited shade range in tints, and a consistently high price for small sizes.

  • I wear Supergoop Everyday! This brand has really captured easy to use sunscreen. The matte sunscreen is tinted and has become a makeup/ skincare essential. I have repurchased many of the products and the packaging and formulations are high quality and exciting.

More shades for the tints would be great.

  • I like the glowstick - high spf and can apply over makeup without looking too bad. Good for shoulders and face and hands on a daily basis. The price point is high.

  • I just started using the Glow Screen and love the subtle illuminating look and lightweight feel! I got the original shade which looks to be the perfect color for me. I know they also have a “golden hour” shade that is slightly darker. I can’t speak on how the actual sun protection works because I typically don’t get burned anyway, but the product looks beautiful on the skin!

  • Supergoop has sunscreen that has me reaching to apply everyday. I have struggled in the past with sunscreen that is hard to rub in or I don't like the feel of, but have really enjoyed using their Unseen Suncreen.

  • I've been using the (Re)Setting Refreshing Mist SPF and it used to be my go-to for both SPF protection and keeping my makeup in place. It appears they've changed the packaging and the mist no longer comes out evenly, leaving portions of my face wet and others not covered at all. Would recommend if they update packaging.

  • I have bought the gel face sunscreen and the body spray. It burns my eyes so it’s something I’ll use on my body but never my face.

I can’t get behind sunscreen that burns the eyes…it’s a no from me.

  • The best! I love that this sunscreen isn’t gloppy (is that a word?), so I actually WANT to wear sunscreen daily. I have a giant pump bottle by my front door as a reminder to protect my skin before heading out into the sun.

Wish it was slightly cheaper, I buy cheaper brands for my husband and kids and hoard this stuff for myself. 😂. Also love that it’s woman-owned.

  • Supergoop! is almost a weird experience. I want to love it, but some of the products are just 'okay'. The Play is good for daily sunscreen and the clear one is great on the go, but my face ends up feeling weird.

Wildly overpriced, we learned. Trader Joe's has a dupe that's just as good but 1/3 the price!

  • As someone who wears sunscreen everyday, I want something good.. and this is it!! This stuff rubs in well and I feel protected from sun up to sun down.

  • I wanted to love the unscreen sunscreen soo badly based on everyone's phenomenal reviews, but it made my (very sensitive) skin break out, so it's a no go for me. I kept my review at 3/5 because I love the lip balm and hand sunscreen - both necessary for sensitive pale folks! The scent and packaging are both wonderful.

  • Supergoop is a brand I return to again and again. I’ve repurchased their original Play sunscreen multiple times and have also ventured into their makeup offerings (Glow Sunscreen, CC Sunscreen and Vitamin C Daily Dose). I felt the Daily Dose had an oily texture the other products didn’t have that I couldn’t get past, but otherwise love Glow Sunscreen for that added highlighter look.

All screw-top packages are just fine, but I struggled with their capped products. Especially when throwing into a tote bag, I found sand/ gunk getting into the bottle which I didn’t love.

  • I love the Unseen Sunscreen. I bought it on a whim during a sale and I actually wore sunscreen every day for months because of it. Because it's clear, I didn't have to worry about it getting on my clothing or being visible on my face if I applied too much.

  • the BEST SPF on the market, I use the glow stick daily for shoulders and cheekbones, as well as the invisible shield (& bought it as a gift for my whole family!) I was able to try the eyeshadows with SPF which were surprisingly pigmented all while protecting my delicate eye area. I would use or trust anything from this brand!

  • Love the glow screen sunscreen. I literally always get a compliment when I wear it and it feels light and nourishing on the skin!

The smell of the Play body mist could be better. I feel like I need to stop breathing every time I use it.

  • I like the smell of the sunscreen and used it all summer. It’s easy to apply and feels healthy.

    Feedback

It’s a little thick - I like the unseen version.

  • I've never been one for regularly applying sunscreen, but the formula used for the Unseen Sunscreen feels very light on and has a subtle matte finish that feels comfortable for everyday. It's pricey for SPF, but worth it!

  • It's not cheap, but there are no better products for bringing SPF into a daily routine. I like to put on Unseen Sunscreen and then moisturize.

  • Easy to use. I am sunburn and skin cancer free. Nice that it's vegan.

  • My current go-to sunscreen! The Play sunscreen goes on super light & smooth, which I appreciate & my tinted CC cream is typically the only "makeup" I wear everyday over my moisturizer.

The SPF lip balm has a sunscreen-y taste, even through the minty flavor I bought.
