Supergoop! impresses in reviews for comfortable, makeup-friendly SPFs—Unseen Sunscreen glides on clear and doubles as a primer, and Glow Screen delivers a luminous tint—while many note strong protection without white cast across skin tones. The reviews also flag drawbacks: some formulas feel oily or pill, a few cause breakouts or eye sting, shades/skintone match can miss, and several cite separation, packaging quirks, and consistently high prices.

  • I use Supergoop sunscreen as the base SPF coat for my foundation on sunny days. It goes on smoothly and is completely clear.

    Feedback

The sunscreen does have a slight greasy texture. In addition, according to sunscreen rating websites, the coverage from the sun could be better.

  • I love the branding and I love the slim packaging. It slips easily into any bag. I've only used the every day lotion, but it had a light scent (not overpowering like most sunscreens) and rubbed in swifty - no white cast! And not greasy.

    Feedback

I'd love if it was reef safe.

  • Truly love Supergoop sunscreen- it's sheer, smells lovely, and doesn't leave a white cast. I prefer to wear it for everyday usage rather than for athletic-type activity, and appreciate that it isn't visible once applied.

  • Unseen sunscreen makes my skin feel super soft and doesn't feel heavy on my skin.

  • Their sunscreen comes highly recommended and I now understand why. It really is worth the hype. The consistency is different than I am used to but I enjoy having it in my rotation of products. Great for POC!

  • I love the Supergoop! sunscreen. It goes on smooth and you don't feel like you're clogging your pores with a gross product. It doesn't have all the ingredients to fully protect from the sun, so I don't wear it when I am going to be in the sun for prolonged exposure (e.g., surfing). However, it's perfect for every day use.

    Stronger sun protection

  • I was headed to a sunny island last year, and I was looking for a facial sunscreen that was effective, lightweight, easy to apply, cruelty-free, sweatproof, and didn't require reapplication frequently! I came across Supergoop and decided to give it a try, and I am so glad that I did :) I tried Supergoop's "Unseen Sunscreen" SKU, and the product checked all of my requirements and then some. The product works like a charm, and my kids love it too (which is a bonus)!

Sustainable packaging would be great. Also would love to see more lip product options (tinted, maybe ;)

  • The texture is excellent- not greasy AT ALL. Obsessed and found my new favorite sunscreen.

  • Yes, like others I freaking love this product especially the velvet texture of the unseen sunscreen, but the price is so high and I think there are other sunscreen competitors that I'd rather spend money on. At this point I've replaced my Supergoop with the TraderJoes dupe for $8.

  • I like that supergoop enphasizes products that make you WANT to use sunscreen daily. I find their sunscreen stick and the unseen sunscreen can make my skin feel a little greasy, but the Play line is the happy medium for me. It's hydrating, without that greasy feel! However, it is on the pricier side.

  • Mainly reviewing poorly because of how poorly all their products score on https://yuka.io/en/ For example their unseen sunscreen SPF 50 has Octocrylene in it which is scored as a high risk ingredient that shouldn't be put on your skin.

  • Pretty, but quite greasy even on my dry skin

  • It fits well on the skin and is convenient to carry.

  • I recently purchased the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 30 after hearing a lot of good things for years and I'm actually blown away. I have a darker complexion and it's pretty rare to find a sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast. This sunscreen makes it enjoyable to put on sunscreen!?? I love the weird gel like texture and a little goes a long way. It's also so light and doesn't feel like you're wearing sunscreen, great for layering under makeup and over skincare! Will absolutely be repurchasing!!

  • The unseen sunscreen is the only sunscreen I’ve repurchased multiple times over the past few years. I think this is a good product and fulfills what I’m looking for in a sunscreen. I hope they can make a mineral version of the unseen sunscreen, which would be amazing.

  • Super goop has great sunscreen that keeps ur face protected.

  • Supergoop's sunblock is my favorite for its lightweight feel and effective sun protection. But tbh for that price, Trader Joe's offers a solid dupe that's way more budget friendly.

  • I don't wear sunscreen anymore since I live in the Northern Hemisphere and need a tan. But if I did, I'd probably love the innovative products. Packaging is bright and modern, I like the many textures, and the glow type that allows you to have a bit of sparkle or tint. Nice.

  • Living in Miami, sunscreen is a must and I love Supergoop! I have tried the Unseen and the Matte and prefer the Matte. I thought the Unseen gave a little too much shine on my face. I also have the chapstick, which I like, but feels like any other decent chapstick.
