Supergoop! impresses in reviews for comfortable, makeup-friendly SPFs—Unseen Sunscreen glides on clear and doubles as a primer, and Glow Screen delivers a luminous tint—while many note strong protection without white cast across skin tones. The reviews also flag drawbacks: some formulas feel oily or pill, a few cause breakouts or eye sting, shades/skintone match can miss, and several cite separation, packaging quirks, and consistently high prices.

  • Supergoop Glowscreen has been an everyday staple in my skincare routine for 5+ years! Nice subtle glow, blends in well, and great for day to day wear. Does not have a strong sunscreen smell either. Recommend reapplying if in the sun for several hours, but as a daily sunscreen this is my go to!

  • This sunscreen is the best! It is lightweight, it is safe for acne prone skin and it give you a glow. It has not only become a staple in morning routine to prep my skin but it will also be found in my beach bag and purse.

  • I think I like this sunscreen. The unseen goes on like a good primer. But the other sunscreens are tinted and the oil goes a long way. But it does leave little whiteheads. So if you are prone to acne, beware.

  • I’m a huge fan of Supergoop! The glow oil works well against sun damage and leaves skin radiantly glowing! I also have several other products, a few pictured. I find the facial products easy to apply under makeup, which is great, because many makeup products lack sunscreen. I definitely recommend Supergoop!

  • Was amazed how Dewey and lightweight this sunscreen felt on my skin. Will definitely be using everyday because it makes my skin glooow. Highly recommend even for these sunny winter days.

  • Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF 40 is a multifunctional product that not only offers sun protection but also enhances the skin's appearance with its luminous finish. Its hydrating and skin-loving ingredients make it a valuable addition to any skincare routine. The Glowscreen has a creamy texture that blends seamlessly into the skin, imparting a subtle glow without being greasy. It serves as an excellent base for makeup, enhancing the longevity and appearance of foundation. It blurs imperfections and provides a smooth canvas for makeup application.

  • I love supergoop products. They are high quality and don't break out my skin. I like the spray, but it is alcohol based. It doesn't dry my skin out and is moisturizing. It's nice to layer on SPF over makeup throughout the day. The container is not great though and frequently is hard to spray or breaks.

  • This is one of those SPF brands that has remained true to their DNA as others come and go. While not all of their formulations are clean (shocking, I know, but really only their mineral sunscreens are CLEAN CLEAN), they have perfected formulation, making sun care fun, and cult classics - PRO TIP : use the Unseen as your makeup primer.

  • Supergoop is one of the sunscreen brands I tend to reach for. I like that they have a wide variation of types of sunscreen. I use the Glow Screen pretty regularly, sometimes even as primer for makeup. It's a little pricey, but that's pretty standard for sunscreen in the US I feel.

  • I have tried the play mineral sunscreen and the glow screen. The mineral sunscreen gives me such a bad whitecast I look purple. The glow screen is really pretty but it’s so shiny that I only use it as highlighter which makes me feel like I’m not getting the spf benefits, especially for the price.

  • The play lip balm is awful - it tastes horrible and I didn't like the feeling on my lips. However, the glowscreen is really lovely! I would stick to their face and body sunscreen products - super glowy, light, and good protection.

  • I really enjoy how smooth the product application is. It doesn't feel greasy or sticky and services as a good base layer to start applying makeup. There is no strong fragrance or odor and you only need a little bit to go a long way.

  • I love this stuff and always apply before I head outside, no matter the time of year! It’s discreet and doesn’t leave a greasy sheen like some other products. I also love that it doesn’t interfere with other moisturizers I may have applied earlier. A little goes a long way, and it’s easy to feel but not easy to see on your skin, which I love!

  • I’ve been using Supergoop’s PLAY lotion and I genuinely like it. It doesn’t feel heavy or sticky, blends in nicely under makeup (or on its own), and I don’t worry about white cast when I’m wearing it. That said, I’m still in the “trying more of the brand” phase. While this one’s doing a good job, I haven’t tested every scenario yet (outdoor heavy sun, super humid travel days) enough to say it’s flawless. If you’re picky about texture, feel, or mixing with other makeup/skin-products, it’s solid - but I’ll keep paying attention to how it holds up in tougher conditions.

  • I've found both the Glowscreen and the Unseen Sunscreen to be effective, easy to apply, and not greasy or cakey. I've started to prefer the Unseen Sunscreen more often because the metallic shimmer of Glowscreen can sometimes be too much. Also, you need to be careful about not letting them sit in the heat - I've had a couple different bottles separate after being in my purse in a hot car, and neither was the same after that. I really try to leave them at home now, which is unfortunate since it would be great to reapply on the go.

  • I've been using Supergoop for over 5 years. I love the variety of products and how they feel on my skin. Lately, i've had problems with some products that have gone bad over time. Reminder that if you open something, don't let it sit for too long. I do like how their products are high SPF for daily wear and protection. Always great branding as well.

  • I buy Supergoop in bulk and it's my go to for both body and face sunscreen. Play is perfect for everyday and body use and is non-greasy. I use either unseen or glowscreen (or a combo!) on my face for a light and effective sun barrier.

  • I’ve used this sunscreen for years on myself and my kids - it’s in my diaper bag, in my purse and I have a whole cabinet full of it! Great product, not oily, smells great. No sunburns yet after 5+ years of exclusively supergoop!

  • I’ve tried many products as well as dupes from Kroger brand and elf. Love what this brand stands for. I am a sunscreen connoisseur and supergoops fun and innovative products keep me coming back. Branding is great. Keep em coming

  • I tested Supergoop's Unseen Sunscreen! And I understood the reason for the hype. It is transparent, does not weigh on the skin and does not burn in the eyes perfect to use with or without makeup. I only think it's expensive for the size, but it's one of the only protectors I can really use every day.
