I found the Soom Pemium Tahini at Harris Teeter near the nut butters and purchased it to make my own hummus recipe. It has a creamy texture, is not bitter and works well for my avocado-chickpea-tahini hummus. Ingredients are just roasted & ground sesame seeds.
I ordered the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Tahini and it is amazing! I was pleasantly surprised by the taste! So good tastes like a chocolate Nutella, but healthier!
Been eating the chocolate tahini flavor out of the jar for a couple days now... so good... love the the taste and the ingredient list is perfect. Make sure to mix before or else it'll just be a hard thing of super salted chocolate at the bottom (so good still gonna eat it like that though). Anyways, I liked the chocolate flavor so much that I decided to buy the green jar premium flavor just to see what I can cook/bake with it!

I used to go to this juice bar in Seattle years ago and would order this amazing cheap bowl of brown rice with steamed veggies. They had a few different sauces you could have over the top, but my favorite was a very lemony, garlicky and rich tahini sauce. I use Soom tahini sauce to recreate this bowl at home now and am very please at the quality of this tahini. I wish it were in glass jars or tins though. I usually get one that comes in a tin, but will purchase this on occasion because it is very good. Maybe I will try making my own tahini....
