SmartSweets earns positive reviews for genuinely tasty, low‑sugar takes on nostalgic gummies like Sweet Fish, Peach Rings, Sourmelon Bites, and Red Twists; it satisfies cravings and often avoids “fake” sweetener aftertaste. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: many candies are extremely sticky or tough, flavors can be inconsistent with occasional stevia/allulose aftertaste and GI upset, and portions feel small. Overall, SmartSweets is good if cutting sugar, but texture quirks and formula variability make it a compromise for purists.

I try this brand and I don’t like it
I've slowly become addicted to SmartSweets. At first, I did not like the fake sugar taste, but over time and with new varieties, I began to crave them. My favorite is the Peach rings. Great flavor and not as "sticky" as the watermelons, which tend to get stuck to my teeth. The gummy worms and caramels I can do without.
Smart Sweets has truly revolutionized the world of guilt-free snacking. These innovative candies are a game-changer for those who want to satisfy their sweet tooth without compromising their health goals. As someone who strives to make better choices, Smart Sweets has become my go-to brand. What sets Smart Sweets apart is their commitment to creating delicious treats with minimal sugar and no artificial sweeteners. These candies are sweetened with natural alternatives like stevia and are bursting with fruity flavors that make them a joy to indulge in. The gummy texture is spot-on, and each bite feels like a nostalgic trip down memory lane. One of the biggest highlights of Smart Sweets is their low-calorie and low-sugar profile. It's incredible to enjoy a pack of gummy bears without the guilt that typically comes with traditional candies. Whether you're watching your sugar intake or simply looking for a healthier snack option, Smart Sweets has got you covered. I appreciate the transparency of Smart Sweets when it comes to their ingredients, with no hidden surprises or artificial additives.

Did not like the texture, the flavor was okay. I would occasionally get it at whole foods to satisfy my sweet cravings if I am looking for a healthier alternative.
I would eat these over really candy any day. Only problem is it's hard to not eat so many and then you've suddenly had 200% of your daily value for fiber and your stomach is scared for its life.
The ones I have tried I could not even finish a piece of because they had such an aggressive artificial sugar taste. I have heard that the have different formulas depending on where you buy it from, so maybe I have just tried the bad version.
These taste great! I prefer gummy/sour candy & these are basically the only option out there that's not packed with sugar. My only complaint is the price for a bag of what feels like 5 gummy worms (there's more in there I'm being dramatic), but the price point keeps me from purchasing more times than not. Great quality & taste though!
3.5 stars. I’ve bought several of these by now, and am a big fan, although they are quite pricey. I do prefer the low sugar alternative to some of my favourite candies. The texture is also different from most traditional gummies (although I personally really enjoy it). The gummy bears are my favourite. I wish they had a starburst alternative! I also wish the packs were slightly cheaper, or that they had a bit more product in them.
Some are amazing, some are genuinely gross (fake, chemical-ly taste). I love the watermelons and peach rings
Love the idea of these candies. They capture the nostalgia but don’t overdo it—a version of your childhood candy that is adapted for more developed taste buds. My favorite are the peach rings. Only complaint is that I’ve come across packages that were either stale or just made/packaged incorrectly, I would feel better buying more if I knew what I was getting every time.
You cant even tell the difference, the thing about non sugar candy it leaves an after taste. However this one does not. The texture was a bit off however, it was still doable.
I love the red fish and the sour watermelon candies as well as the peach sour rings. Such a good low sugar option when I want a treat. Love them

Every single thing I’ve had from this brand has been straight up fire. Love it! I wish more brands did stuff like this :) good tasting stuff (most if not all is vegan which is important to me), and it has little to no sugar.
Love the idea of this product especially since I'm a huge candy fan but unfortunately they're just not the right texture for me and I don't like the aftertaste.
I love the gummy bears + worms! The texture of the other plant based ones are still pretty good, but definitely different and less of a traditional gummy feel.
I am a sucker for sweets and struggled to find a guiltless snack to curb my cravings. I personally love the peach rings and sweet fish! If you are looking for a sweet treat to satisfy your tastebuds without the shame of breaking your healthy pattern, look no further.
love these but sometimes you get a bag that's stale.

Tasty!! I'd say these candies are actually able to quench my rabid sugar cravings, especially the "sweet fish" . My only critique is how sticky these are, I felt like every bite was a test for my tooth fillings, after eating a pack my jaw was also sore. Perhaps that's by design so I don't eat too many?
I really really enjoy the Swedish fish they have. The peach rings were okay and the gummy worms weren’t bad. As someone on a gluten free diet I appreciate being able to enjoy some of my favorite candy.

I wanted to like these, I really did, but the texture of these products felt a little off to me. I wish they had more of a bouncy chew.
