SmartSweets earns positive reviews for genuinely tasty, low‑sugar takes on nostalgic gummies like Sweet Fish, Peach Rings, Sourmelon Bites, and Red Twists; it satisfies cravings and often avoids “fake” sweetener aftertaste. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: many candies are extremely sticky or tough, flavors can be inconsistent with occasional stevia/allulose aftertaste and GI upset, and portions feel small. Overall, SmartSweets is good if cutting sugar, but texture quirks and formula variability make it a compromise for purists.

I actually really enjoy the taste of these and I love the brands mission but you can honestly only eat a few before your stomach starts to hurt.
these really satisfy my candy cravings without the guilt. I love the options and they’re are all consistently tasty and nostalgic.
Yummiest healthy candy! I have tried so many and they usually taste fake and/ or hurt my stomach. This brand is the best of the best
Love that its lower sugar and it still tastes really good
SmartSweets are an incredible replacement when you have a sweet tooth but don't want all that sugar. I love the serving size and I feel fully satisfied after eating a pack. I like to share them with my husband and kid. I like that they kind of stick to your teeth so it takes longer to consume them so I end up eating less.

I appreciate the low calorie option for candy but I didn’t enjoy the flavor - had a wax like after taste.
These are amazingggg! Great for when you have a sweet tooth, but don’t want all the sugar from regular candy. SmartSweets has absolutely nailed the flavour, you can’t even tell you’re not actually eating regular candies. Only reason for a 4 star, they are a weeee bit pricey.
Even my partner will eat these - and he loves real Candy
So good. We’ve been enjoying these for years. Always love seeing them at Expo West

I do love these snacks. Great if you're avoiding sugar. But they could taste better?
These are a good alternative to the full sugar gummies out there. They have really come up with a nice variety of flavors to please everyone including caramels. The price is not bad, a little higher than the other gummies but they are also made with better ingredients too.
def don't replace typical gummy candies... would only recommend if you are accustomed to stivia flavoring. The consistency i would say is better than the flavor
Overall this brand does a great job at trying to imitate the candies. Some flavors are definitely better than others (prefer the gummy bears the most) but they helped with my sugar cravings when I was on my weight loss journey.
As someone who loves a good sweet, but has a stomach sensitive to sugar, these smartsweet candies are great. No stomach aches over here, the sour melons are my favorite. I hope they continue to make more flavors and varieties!
Love the idea of Smart Sweets, but unfortunately the product isn't one of my favourites. The candy is quite hard and in my opinion doesn't replace other candies.
I really wanted to love the brands premise but unfortunately, the Peach Rings had an overpowering Stevia flavor, despite its placement as the last ingredient on the list.
They are a pretty good substitute for gummies when trying to be healthy, but they aren't that sweet and the texture can be weird. Trued the watermelons and the regular fish and both the texture was too chewy and they left a weird after taste. However, not many products like it with such low sugar so i’d probably get them again
This is the only dessert that i get to my house! Its tasty without the empty low calorie junk sugar that you find in all big candy and chocolate bars . They are easy to pack in your bag and a delicious treat to have wherever that sweet tooth kicks in. So better be smart about your treat choices and avoid all big candy bar companies
