  • Deeply hydrating barrier creams
  • Fragrance-free, sensitive-skin formulas

  • Noticeable redness-calming performance
  • Heavy, mask-like face cream
  • Occasional breakout-triggering treatment
  • Leaky, awkward product dispensers

Skinfix earns strong reviews for restoring compromised skin barriers and soothing sensitive, dry, or eczema‑prone complexions; users praise the Triple Lipid Peptide Cream, gel cleansers, and glycolic body scrub for hydration, calm, and visible smoothing. Critiques note heavy, mask‑like textures that can hinder makeup, occasional breakouts from certain treatments, leaky or awkward dispensers, and mixed results on KP and exfoliation efficacy, making the brand effective but not universally ideal.

  • I really liked skinfix for crating a protective barrier on my skin, especially in the winter when I sometimes get dry patches. It’s gotten the job done and has been a good decision to buy. Until now. I found another brand that works even better! Aestura Autobarrier365 cream. Both work well, but the main difference between them is the barrier itself seems thicker on the skinfix even though they protect evenly. I can apply makeup nicely over Aestura, however don’t if I can help it with the skinfix because I start to feel like I’m wearing a mask. This made me try to only wear it at night. While I have used and enjoyed skinfix in the past, I’m moving on, at least in the face cream. I also have found the Aestura costs much less.

  • The dermatologist recommended this for my son because she thought he had sensitive skin. He uses other regular products on his face that work fine but he does have some eczema on his body. This product works for him, no breakouts, moisturizing enough. I bought one for myself. They had a massive holiday sale so I bought some of the gift packs in 2024. I have dry skin but don't have sensitive skin. This product kept my skin hydrated but the other products such as the serum didn't seem to do anything. I have switched to Obagi products.

  • Thick and super hydrating without that sticky, waxy feel some heavy creams have. It actually calms down redness and cracks fast. I keep one in every bag during the colder months. It's become my favorite nighttime hand cream.

  • This product legitimately fixed my barrier after I over-exfoliated with too many actives. It’s heavier than what I normally prefer, but my skin needed it to repair. I started using this moisturizer immediately when my skin started to look more red and irritated, and I believe the rich nourishing formula is the only reason why my skin didn’t start flaking off. I didn’t experience any new breakouts either, given the heavier texture. It’s fragrance free with no scent. And the pump is great for dispensing the perfect amount. It’s hydrating, nourishing, and allows the skin to repair while preventing further damage

  • This review is specifically for the exo + ecotin retinol alternative. The texture of the product is very smooth and goes on like a balm - thick, but not greasy. While I can’t confirm if this does anything long term, it definitely is good for hydration. Unfortunately, it does cause me to break out.

  • Gel cleanser was good, but nothing I'd feel the need to buy again over any other similar product. I did like the twist cap, though it seemed to leak after a month or two of use. Moisturizer was great though!

  • My holy grail moisturizer. As my skin ages, I notice it getting more dry, especially in the winter. But I still get hormonal acne and breakouts. This moisturizer is so thick, but it also doesn't break me out. It also has no scent and a lovely texture, without irritation.

  • This cream is deeply nourishing—perfect for repairing a damaged skin barrier. It’s rich but absorbs well, and the peptides make my skin feel firmer and more resilient. Ideal for dry, sensitive, or compromised skin.

  • I LOVE skinfix. I deal with sensitive, dry skin with the occasional breakout, so it’s almost like skinfix was made for me. I’ve tried their cleansers, moisturizers, and treatments, and all are incredibly effective.

  • Best thick moisturizer for midwestern winters! I also love the glycolic body scrub, it gets rid of all the strawberry bumps on my legs and helps me get a closer shave

  • Skin barrier Restoring Gel cream When opening the skin fix barrier restoring gel cream, for the first time, I noticed it’s a thick cream, but is a little runny, for example, a pudding texture. Skinfix triple barrier peptide cream, instead of the gel, looks like buttercream frosting or whipped cream structure. When I was done feeling the texture, I decided to smell the gel cream, to see if there was a scent. I thought my serum, had no fragrance, but the moisturizer, next to it made it have a scent, proving their statement of no added fragrance. In my opinion, I wish more companies did non fragrance because plenty of people break out due to the skincare product being heavily scented. The jar has a great design instead of taking out the moisturizer with your hand or little spoon, you press down, to get the product out. In my opinion, it is a perfect idea, because it gives you the amount you are supposed to use on your face and not overuse the product, and less messy. I have combination skin, which tends more to the oily side. If you have a skin type like mean, this is perfect for you. I say this because when it goes on the skin, it gives it a light cooling feel, and dissolves quickly into the skin, without sitting on top of the skin. I use the gel moisturizer, I use instead, of the skin fix gel in the morning since that one is a lighter formula and more water-based feeling on the face. That is my preference, you don’t have to use the gel, only in the morning you can also use it at nighttime. I mentioned this because I know some people if their skin, especially on their face gets oily fast, would want a lightweight formula. I know for me if it is hot outside and if the skincare/sunscreen is a heavy formula it will make you feel more uncomfortable throughout the day, that you would just want to wash it off.

  • The new Ceremide + Ectoin Gentle Gel Cleanser I am a 32 year old beauty enthusiast living in Arizona. I suffer from dry skin year-round. My dry skin often leads to redness, irritation and flaking. I like that the cleanser is made for dry, dehydrated and dull skin and is able to remove my SPF and makeup. I found that if I am not wearing eye makeup I can get away without needing to double cleanse and my face is completely clean. The 5oz tube will last a long time! As a gel to foaming cleanser a little goes a long way. I do wish that the packaging was a bit different as I have found the cleanser comes out very quickly when I twist the bottom of the tube and I often get too much product out. The ingredients in the cleanser really help assist my dry skin. My skin doesn’t hurt, sting or feel tight. The patented B-L3 complex and the ceramides help replenish my skin’s natural lipids and assists with repairing my skin barrier. Ectoin is a new ingredient to me that is also perfect for my skin type because it helps soothe and intensely hydrate my very dry skin.

  • Such a gentle cleanser on my skin and it is extremely sensitive, I would tell you to most definitely use an Spf after applying thisnprdicur to make sure your skin doesn’t grow dark but overall it’s good

  • I have really not been thrilled about skinfix after trying at least 3 products. I find it overpriced for what it is, and I am a KP-haver. I’ve used the AHA scrub in the shower but didn’t see any benefits, and prefer the First Aid Beauty one which feels harsher to me (I use it on my arms) in a good way. Have also tried the moisturizer and its smoothing but it didn’t improve my KP. I purchased the Barrier Bundle from Sephora when it was on sale recently ($41 as opposed to $69, claiming $110 value), which contained the Barrier+ Ceramind Gel Cleanser, the Barrier+ Triple Lipid Peptide Cream, and the Barrier+ Triple Lipid Serum (TINY bottle btw - lasted me not even a month). The packaging was a triangle and fun I guess but who cares if the products are overpriced. I feel like I paid $41 for a cleanser and a moisturizer which is just too much IMO. Also the dispensers are just really weird. Posting photos to explain what I mean - I am all for innovation but I think these dispensers are just annoying. I can kind of hang with the cleanser one, but if I didn’t leave that one in the shower it would probably make a mess. Overall I am SO glad I did not pay $69 for this bundle and I do not understand why it’s a $110 value.

  • Skinfix is my favorite skincare brand. It is worth the money! Slowly add to your collection and you will not be disappointed.

  • When I began my skincare journey I didn’t know exactly what I was doing and ruined my skin barrier. Skinfix skin barrier serum completely turned my skin around and restored it. When I say this brand is amazing I mean it. It’s one of THE best. High quality products that you actually see results with!

  • I love to explore and try new products each time and that’s make me happy. I heard about Skinfix brand so i think to give a try on myself. I have dry to combo skin and love the results that i am getting with this skinfix barrier peptide cream in short time of use. The skinfix triple lipid peptide cream is so hydrating formula that gives you good skin barrier protection. As being on dry skin side i had used a-lot of cream in past but none gave me that much results as i got after using skinfix barrier cream. Its so light-weighted easily adsorbed in skin and leaving the skin so soft and hydrated for long time without any greasiness. It’s rich in lipids and peptides which are best for anti aging also. It has no added fragrance, oil, parabens , silicones so its also best for sensitive skin or person who don’t like fragrance cream. I would highly suggested you to give it a try and you will start loving it as i do .

  • Iwill not spend 50. On it

  • This is an incredible skincare brand for sensitive or damaged skin. I have used the eye cream, barrier repair cream, and gel cream & they all hydrated my skin and caused no irritation.

I find the current selection of products great for barrier repair & compromised skin, however I would love to see an anti-aging focused moisturizer with things like peptides or collagen to give us the repair benefits but also some more targeted anti-aging ingredients... I'd buy that in a heartbeat!

  • Skinfix is absolutely fantastic! Their products are incredibly effective, leaving my skin feeling soft, nourished, and deeply hydrated. I love that they use clean, natural ingredients that are gentle yet powerful. The texture of their moisturizers and treatments is luxurious, and they absorb beautifully without feeling greasy. Since using Skinfix, my skin has never looked or felt better. It’s quickly become a staple in my routine. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their skin’s health!
