Let me start off by saying going to REI is an experience and I have never walked out of the store dissatisfied with the service I received. They really do care about their customers and want to get you the help you need. Rather you end up purchasing from them or not they are there to answer your questions, and when you talk with their employees they treat you like you are the only person on their agenda and give you all the time you need. They have the best return policy for members and really do sell quality products. My Dad and I purchased our hiking backpacks form them prior to hiking the grand canyon. I had gotten fitted elsewhere, but my Dad got fitted at REI and he hands down got all the help he need. They helped him compare brands, products, and ultimately got him fitted for just the right backpack.
REI has such an insanely good array of offerings at all prices. This is the best spot to go before a camping or skiing trip as it has everything I needed!
