RAO’s earns high marks in reviews for delivering fresh, homemade‑tasting sauces with clean, low‑sugar ingredients and standout varieties like Arrabbiata, Vodka, and Sensitive Marinara that many consider the best jarred options. Reviews also flag drawbacks: frequent comments about a higher price, occasional acidity or oiliness, mixed opinions on marinara and vodka sauce boldness, and concerns from a few about quality changes post‑acquisition.

One of the best tasting pasta sauces. Will make your lasagna and spaghetti taste homemade.
Dude, have you tried RAO's Marinara Slow-Crafted Sauce? Made from all-natural ingredients, this sauce tastes like it's straight outta Nonna's kitchen. The flavor is rich, tomatoey, and just the right amount of garlic. 🙌 Compared to other store-bought sauces, RAO's is in a league of its own—no weird preservatives or artificial flavors. What I loved: The authentic taste and clean ingredient list. 🍅 What needs improvement: A bit pricey, but worth every penny for the quality!

Best shelf sauce you can get!
I loved Raos before they sold to Campbell's, it's pretty good I hope they don't change too much
Really great sauce. I have tried marinara and vodka sauces. It is noticeably better than basic cheap brands at the grocery store like preggo, etc. It’s worth the few extra dollars and goes on sale every once in a while! I am a happy customer!

I absolutely love this sauce. I love the fact that its low sugar and can be used during any diet plan. It also tastes like freshly made sauce right out of the kitchen
I feel like it’s not the best sauce but not the worst . It’s okay, not bad for the price.
I love Rao's. Such a great option for store bought sauce, they use simple clean ingredients.
Real ingredients, safe for my anti-inflammatory diet, and delicious! When I don’t feel like making my own marinara, I reach for Rao’s, and it is comparable. Add a few ingredients or use it as is, it is perfectly delicious! You DO get what you pay for, and this sauce is certainly worth a few extra dollars!
This is my go to marinara sauce. It’s got a lot of flavor, not too acidic and goes well with about anything from lasagna to spaghetti and meatball. Easy to add extra spice or whatever to modify the sauce and always tastes so good!
This sauce is so yummy and definitely my go to when making spaghetti. My mom also loves this brand, and is very picky with her food products.
My go-to!! The only pasta sauce I don't have to spice up. I'm a Rao's fan!!
This is 100% the best-jarred sauce you can buy. I usually make my own sauce, but this is my go-to when I'm in a pinch and it's honestly almost just as good as my homemade.

RAO’s unites us all as the best jarred tomato sauce on the market. Even those who are picky about fresh sauces admit RAO’s is the best. I always keep at least one at home!
Perfect tomato sauce, my go to always.

It's the only sauce my kids will eat. At the mercy of it. Denied a clean sweep because I wish it were slightly less costly.
One of the tastiest and cleanest sauces I've ever used. This is my go to sauce when I don't want to make it from scratch and it's amazing! I love their marinara, arrabiata and vodka sauces, all pair nicely with any pasta dish!
I saw Rao’s being recommended by some of the “healthy eats” instagram accounts I follow a few years back. Once I tried it, I never went back! They continue to be my go-to, favorite past sauces. The flavor is robust, but feels clean at the same time. I wish they had more flavors for pasta sauces though! But still, always ready for Rao’s before any other brand lately.

Rao's slaps but man why is it so expensive!? I want to say it's worth the money but sometimes it's hard for me to justify.
The sweet Basil Raos is the only pasta sauce I keep in the house. It’s absolutely delicious and so much better for you than other sauce brands.
