quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

Been using this for over a year. Good for traveling when you don’t want to lug an electric toothbrush and charger with you, but I prefer a regular toothbrush to this. Not very hard vibrations and the bristles wear down before your subscription is renewed for a new head.

Used to love this toothbrush, great design at a good price point but unfortunately kept breaking, customer service would send new ones but after a few months would have the same problem.
Great toothbrush. I've always had a hard time remembering to brush my teeth and hated the way normal brushes felt on my gums. Since switching to Quip brushing my teeth isn't a hassle anymore and I want to brush them as long as possible because it doesn't hurt.

Make the stand the brush comes in more sturdy. Mine always falls over and I'm chasing my toothbrush
It cleans your teeth- yes. It's design is sleek and modern- yes. The subscription aspect is convenient- yes. But it's just an okey product to me. My traveling tube/cap grew mold in it after the first use. It's a toothbrush... water's going to get in it. I also wouldn't recommend it for sensitive gums. Overall, it's alright, but there are other brands out there I'd rather use.

Travel tube could use a redesign.

Sleek packaging and looks nice

I think the brush itself isn’t great. My teeth never felt clean while using it
Convenient and nice, as well as sleek design and minimalistic aesthetic
This is by no means a ‘bad’ product, I personally prefer other toothbrushes but the system they have is great! Being able to subscribe to receive new brush heads with a reusable wand is a fresh look on a common product.

I think producing different brush heads would be a great start at doing something new for the company!
Great for travel and much more eco friendly then traditional toothbrushes. Also magnetic so it can stick to the mirror and not worry about it touching the sink or other dirty areas in the bathroom

Rotating brush head
To their credit, that's a good looking toothbrush. I can't say my time using Quip completely revolutionized my toothbrushing nor did it really have much of an impact on my oral health. I think it's a well-designed product but it didn't give me the results I would've liked. Though it costs more, I'm happier and healthier with my more expensive electric toothbrush.
I love the sleek design and look to the product. I used until I ran out of the replacement heads. Was fine for a while, but didn't feel the need for an electric toothbrush anymore.

The cost and the toothpaste taste!

I've been using quip for 4 or 5 years now. I really like it. I like not having to think about when to change out my brush head. Also the minimal style is really really nice. Easy to travel with. I like this brand a lot.
I really wanted to love the Quip toothbrush and it was even in one of my favorite colors, but it ended up being too rough of a brush for my sensitive teeth. I also did notice after a while that the brush started to smell funky, which could have been partial user error. I love the goal and effort towards sustainability like refillable floss, but ended up not working for my needs.

Expand bristle softness/hardness
Really great product in theory but the subscription was difficult to manage due to the poor UX design of their website. I also found that the toothbrush handle started to smell due to the holder collecting bacteria.

This is a very average toothbrush. I wouldn’t recommend it but I wouldn’t tell people to avoid it either. In my opinion it works about the same as the battery operated ones that Crest makes. It’s more like a high-end standard toothbrush then a true electric toothbrush.
Feedback
Would be nice to come with a cap or cover for the toothbrush. Doesn’t feel like it fully cleans my teeth
Quip is okay for a toothbrush with a timer but that’s about all that it does. It’s a bit expensive for what it actually does and I feel you’d be better off just spending a bit more on a nice electric toothbrush.

Quip is just fine. Their electric toothbrushes aren’t very powerful and I don’t love the subscription model. But I guess the pricing is fair!
Feedback
Make better toothbrushes, I don’t feel like the low pressure of these adequately cleaned my teeth.

Easy to use toothbrush and subscription service, but I cancelled it after my dentist told me there wasn't enough information out about how effective it is.
Feedback
Varying vibration levels for a more customized toothbrush.
I like my Quip because it's super sleek and the subscription service makes it easy for me to replace my brush in a timely fashion. In my most recent visit to the dentist however, he said Quip isn't that great of a brush and since the head is imprecise, I wasn't effectively brushing preventing stains on my teeth. Bummer since I really like the brand and their subscription model.

Model with a round brush head and stronger vibration per my dentist's feedback
Products are really hit or miss. They’re all pretty cheaply made and end up breaking down. I’ve had to replace my brush several times. My floss pick broke. My mouth wash gets stuck often. Recommend trying some nicer brands.

Quality of materials could be better. Build and construction needs improvement.
Here’s the thing, are these life changing? No. But am I ever going to own a different toothbrush? Also no. They work great and the subscription service is so convenient (I don’t even want to admit how long I would go without replacing my toothbrush befor I had quip)
