quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

Been using my quip toothbrush for 7 years now. It’s easy and cute and practical. However, I also think it’s overpriced, and about once every year-year and a half I have found myself having to get a new brush (which they provide free of cost as long as you have a subscription going). Finally, my bluetooth toothbrush won’t connect to the app, and they haven’t been able to help me solve this problem no matter how hard we’ve tried. I keep using it though, so I guess it’s a good product!
At first I fell for the quip hype. Sleek design, auto-ship to keep teeth healthy. But this toothbrush isn't really much better than a normal brush for much cheaper. I prefer either using a high-powered electric brush or a simple super soft bristle disposable. If it gets more people to brush regularly based on aesthetics though, then more power to them.
Really cool design tooth brush
I’ve been using Quip for quite a few years and I think it’s a great affordable electric toothbrush. The only issue I had was that it was hard to change the brush.

A little overrated
way too pricy for what it actually is
I have the toothbrush, the floss systems, and the water pic. Beyond everything, I love the minimalist look on my bathroom counter.
I've had quip toothbrushes for a while and recently got their water flosser as well. Ultimately, I do enjoy the brand and I think they provide a lot of interesting accessories as part of their product. I also really appreciate their subscription services as it's not something I have to think about and generally the expense is not alarming or excessive. I like their colorations and that they occasionally put out limited editions or seasonal colors. I enjoy the brush itself such that it isn't as aggressive as other electric toothbrushes. The case they provide to travel with the brush in is really helpful to have, though difficult to clean.

Not overly impressed. Looks great, works okay.
Finally a touch brush that cleans my reach properly
This is the perfect toothbrush for traveling! It's not bulky like other electronic toothbrushes, so it takes up less space in your toiletry bag which is always a win. I love the sleek design ,color, and love that it charges with a battery!
Great idea but overall, but I found the actual function of the electric toothbrush underwhelming compared to brands like sonicare and oralb. The toothbrush only lightly vibrates so it feels barely better than a manual brush. Cute design though :)
I have been a sonicare user for many years but these are just so handy, compact, and easy for travel! The colors are super fun and the cap/sticky mirror holder/case is really what seals it… I love that my toothbrush isn’t funky if I put it away wet. I travel for work a lot and try to not check a bag unless absolutely necessary, so I only travel with my quip. They also make a watermelon toothpaste that’s not a kids one, which is pretty awesome too. Wish they would make a sensitivity toothpaste - and maybe expand on some more non-kids-specific non traditional toothpaste flavors.
The best travel toothbrush. I use this in my travel bag so I never forget my toothbrush. The battery lasts so long and the brush head is easy to replace. The bristles get a good clean without feeling too rough on my sensitive teeth. I switched from a Philips sonicare that was making my teeth way too sensitive.
Toothbrush gets gross after a while. I like the automatic shipping, it worked well for 8months, but eventually, my toothbrush stopped working entirely and they didn't send me a new one for 2 months. When they finally did, they sent it to the wrong address. Feels like I'm emailing a blank wall. I also think the other products are a bit cheap and just a cash grab
My quip toothbrush has had functionality issues just a few months after purchasing. It randomly turns on, stops short, or just doesn’t work. I didn’t love it to begin with because I think the vibrations didn’t really feel like they were cleaning as well as other electric toothbrushes I have. Bright spot is that the subscription for new brush heads is really easy to manage and use. Sticking with it for now but I’ve had to take the batteries out to avoid the functionality problems, so it’s not really working for me as an electric toothbrush.
First, I absolutely LOVE the feel and overall design of this toothbrush. Additionally, I love how easy it is to pack away. Unfortunately, the vibration isn't strong enough for my liking and for that I give this an overall 3/5.
I have had the same Quip toothbrush for probably 7 years (of course, I replace the heads with their subscription service). Not only do these brushes look sleek and cool (who knew toothbrushes could be stylish?), but they also leave my teeth feeling ultra-clean and my breath fresh as a daisy. The design is top-notch. The slim handle is super comfy to hold, and the vibrating bristles do all the hard work for me. It's like a mini spa treatment for my mouth! Oh, and they've got this clever 2-minute timer that buzzes every 30 seconds, so I know when to switch areas. It takes the guesswork out of brushing and makes sure I get a thorough clean every time. But here's the real kicker: their subscription service is a game-changer. No more stressing about running out of toothbrushes or replacement heads. Quip sends fresh supplies right to my doorstep every three months, like clockwork. It's a lazy person's dream come true! Honestly, I can't recommend Quip toothbrushes enough. They've made brushing my teeth way more enjoyable and my dental health has improved noticeably.
Absolutely love my quip. I religiously use my brush (as one should) and their floss and love the simple & sleek packaging. I would love if they had a subscription program where they ship new heads to you, saving a trip to the store.
Nothing innovative about my experience with quip. I found the toothbrush to be just okay
