quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • I love the interchangeable heads as well as the package and brand experience although their toothbrushes don’t quite compare to typical electric toothbrushes in terms of their clean i would more say they are more like a vibrating manual toothbrush

  • I have tried so many of the electric toothbrushes and quip is by far my favorite. My teeth feel cleaner, the brush heads are cheaper, and I love the subscription option so I never have to go to the store for brush heads.

  • Quip was recommended by our dentist. Love the simplicity of the brand which reflects in their design and price

  • I love how sleek quip toothbrushes look. however, I find that it didn't give me the squeaky clean feeling I look for in a good toothbrush. it's still better than a manual toothbrush, but the sonic ability just doesn't compare to other brands.

  • I like the idea, but just isn’t a great tooth brush. The price is great, but spend the extra money on a better electric toothbrush, your dentist will thank you.

  • I use this tooth brush for a few months and just didn’t understand the hype. The button was iffy when turning it on/off, and did not like the rubber on the edges of the bristles. I found myself needed an extra brush throughout the day as I just did not feel it cleaned as well. I have now switched to a sonicare and love it.

  • I used a quip electric toothbrush for a couple of months until it stopped working. In my experience, its quality doesn't justify the price. I've since invested in a Sonicare and wouldn't dream of going back to quip or manual toothbrushes, for that matter.

  • Very nice looking toothbrush and good to have a timer. I like the holder but sometimes mine falls off the spot I have it stuck. Probably user error though. All in all I’ll keep using it!

  • Quip is an awesome brand with products for the whole family. I have tried their brushes and really enjoy them.

  • Quip initially appealed to me for its sleek appearance and monthly subscription packages. As time wore on and more less expensive brands became available for subscription, my Quip fell out of use. This was due to a few things, 1. price point, 2. reliability (I had to replace the mechanism twice after having stopped working), 3. ease of cleaning - lots of areas for toothpaste to stick 4. design slipperiness of the grip, shape of the toothbrush head (I prefer oval/circular) Additionally the lack of color options and clunkiness of the holders wasn't appealling. I see that they have a water flosser option that I may try in the future. While I did find the product to be attractive, there were too many design flaws to sustain my loyalty to the brand.

  • I did like the quip toothbrush and I thought it was doing the job, but when I went to the dentist I had a lot more plaque than usual. My toothbrush also started to glitch and not turn off and it happened to my moms also. So overall don’t think it’s for me.

  • Great toothbrushes. Have a great look and quality. Nice to have the brush heads auto delivered and changing them out is pretty easy. Have used for years!

  • I was a quip user for a couple of years, but then my toothbrush stopped holding any charge, regardless of replacing with a brand new battery. I wrote in, sent pictures, and got a new toothbrush base. Then the same thing happened again. While the new battery with the brush head replacement was helpful, it felt wasteful and I had no way of recycling/properly disposing the batteries. I will ultimately find an electric toothbrush that recharges.

  • While sleek looking and compact, Quip brushes are barely better than a regular manual toothbrush. They do not provide enough vibrations to clean teeth properly like an electric toothbrush. I do not recommend.

  • Sleek in design but not the best electric toothbrush for your hygiene. You have to brush like you would a regular toothbrush when electric toothbrushes usually have spinning bristles to clean everywhere.

  • The size of this toothbrush is great. It's basically just a mild vibration toothbrush. I really had to brush my teeth the old traditional way with it to make my teeth feel clean.

  • One thing that I love is taking care of my pearly whites. I tried their toothbrush while strolling through Target one time and thought the packaging was super cool. However, when I tried it, I found that the actual toothbrush itself vibrates, not the bristles on the toothbrush. So you're basically paying for a regular $1 toothbrush that vibrates without moving the actual bristles.
