  • Convenient refill subscription
  • Weak cleaning vibration
  • Fragile head connection

quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • i’ve been using quip for a long time now and i enjoy it. it’s quiet enough and the vibration doesn’t affect my vision like other brands i have tried do. i found that cancelling my subscription was easy when i need to

  • Quip offers a minimalist, user-friendly electric toothbrush with a subscription-based model for replacement heads. It’s ideal for those who want a gentle, no-frills brush with a modern aesthetic, but it lacks advanced features like pressure sensors or multiple cleaning modes found in premium models.

  • My kids love these toothbrushes. It makes them feel like a “big kid” because of how cool they look. We love quip products in our household!

  • Genius design, reliable product. Simple and easy subscription as well!

  • After speaking to my dentist they said this was a good “travel toothbrush” basically meaning it only barely does the job. I like the feel of it but I do notice the cleaning is not as intense as other electric brushes which leads to me feeling not as clean. If they could intensify the brushes maybe it would work a bit better? Also the suction cup attachment is a waste and gross when you think about putting your toothbrush right side up and letting the old water just fall to the base of the wall insert.

  • Very convenient, especially for travel. This has been my go-to brush for over five years. I have had no issues with the base after using for so long. I really like the travel cap and how it's easy to clean and maintain.

  • Sleek Design, But Not for Me I really wanted to love Quip—the sleek design is great, and the concept is solid. But the bristles just didn’t do it for me. Over time, I felt like the toothbrush just wasn’t as effective as I needed it to be. That said, I did really enjoy the floss design—super convenient and well-thought-out. I can see why some people love Quip, but for me, the toothbrush itself just didn’t cut it.

  • “I love the Quip toothbrush because it’s sleek, simple, and highly effective. Its minimalist design looks great in my bathroom, and the travel cover doubles as a stand, making it super convenient. The gentle vibrations and timed pulses ensure a thorough, even clean every time, without being too harsh on my gums. The subscription for brush head replacements is a game-changer—I never have to worry about forgetting to replace them, and it keeps my routine consistent. Plus, it’s affordable and feels much more hygienic than traditional brushes. Quip makes brushing effortless and enjoyable, and my teeth have never felt better!”

  • This electric toothbrush is definitely sleeker and smaller than most, which I really like—it’s easier to use and looks way better on the counter. That said, I’m not totally sure it’s worth the extra money since it doesn’t feel that different from other options.

  • Quip modernizes oral care with its sleek, minimalist electric toothbrushes. The slim design is travel-friendly, and the built-in timer ensures effective brushing. Unlike bulkier electric toothbrushes, Quip’s subscription model delivers replacement brush heads and toothpaste to your door every three months, keeping things hassle-free. However, some users feel its vibration power isn’t as robust as other brands like Sonicare. That said, its simplicity, affordability, and stylish aesthetic make it a top choice for those seeking to upgrade their dental routine.

  • This is the first electronic toothbrush I've ever owned. The motor gives out easily, I've gotten replacements (but it is spastic, so I just use it without). I wash my teeth for a full 2 minutes now, my younger self would be amazed, lol.

  • Excellent for travel or at the office, sleek and simple design, with subscription thinking about when to replace your toothbrush heads will be a thing of the past, truly impressed!

  • Toothbrushes for someone who really has everything and more. Not an easy system to adhere to as most people do not think about their toothbrushes when they are not actively brushing their teeth. The design is sleek and the quality is nice but the price still doesn’t seem justified.

  • Innovative and and not nearly as clunky as my old electric toothbrush. Love the attachment where you can hang it on wall or mirror

  • I used to use sonicare then I tried this brand but I did revert back to sonicare. This isn’t bad just isn’t for me. I just didn’t feel squeaky clean.

  • I’ve had my quip for almost ten years. It doesn’t clean as well as the sonicare according to my dentist. My first one had a strange habit of turning on on its own. But quip did honor their life time warranty. I love that they send refills and that it travels well!

  • The reusable floss stick is GENIUS. I bought one without really knowing what it was, and once I started using it I bought more so I can always have it with me. If you’re not the best with flossing regularly, this will change your life.
