  • Sleek, minimalist design
  • Compact, travel-friendly form
  • Timed, guided brushing pulses
  • Convenient refill subscription
  • Weak cleaning vibration
  • Fragile head connection
  • Hard-to-remove battery parts
  • Bristles wear or feel harsh

quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • Great, minimalist electric tooth brush. The auto refill program works well to remind me to change the brush head but the shipping always takes longer than they say it will

  • I love their tooth brushes & floss carriers, they look so chic and work so well!

  • I love the design, but I've ended up sticking with my other electric toothbrush. My kids love them.

  • Absolutely love quip, so easy to travel with

  • A real game changer for the oral hygiene, very practical and also aesthetic

  • Favorite toothbrush I’ve tried so far! Love that it’s compact for travel and has a cover for the bristles within the overall design

  • While Quip’s sleek design and subscription model are alluring, the toothbrush itself leaves a lot to be desired. I personally found the vibration weak and the bristle shape awkward. Even with the convenience of automatic refills, it's not worth it if you're compromising on performance. Quip's appeal is undeniable. It’s stylish and simple. But the product just misses the mark for me.

  • I recently switched from Quip to a different, and more affordable, electric toothbrush. I really love the look and the minimalism of this toothbrush, but it frequently didn't work and the customer service wasn't always helpful. I had to replace my first one because the toothbrush head wouldn't come off for me to change it and the battery. I was informed that they only replace defective products for folks who have an active subscription with them. The motor went out twice in subsequent toothbrushes. After the second time I decided to get a different brand that was cheaper and easier to access locally. I also tried their flosser and the floss never cut correctly so I had to use scissors and ended up using way more floss than needed per refill.

  • I thought the quality wasn't great. Gets the job done but feels cheap. Removable parts get pretty gross with leftover toothpaste...yuck.

  • our whole family uses quip and have been for a while. i have noticed that the kids ones are starting to act up. not turning on. or turning on randomly. ive been through the troubleshooting and have sent in a warranty claim for replacements. otherwise they work well and are easy to travel with

  • The on the go floss is a really great idea. It comes with a mirror that is super handy, and is a great gadget to keep in your purse. However, the actual floss string is hard and feels more like a thick fabric thread. It doesn’t have that slip coating that makes it easy to get in between your teeth. Other than that, I love this idea and will continue to use it, but hope they improve the quality of the floss.

  • This toothbrush provides me a similar way to brush my teeth at work compared to my (different product) electric toothbrush at home. I love quip toothbrushs because they are slim and fit perfectly in my bag/scrub pockets.

  • I use the basic quip subscription and it couldn’t be easier. Every 3 months they send a new toothbrush head, battery, and toothpaste. You never really think how gross your toothbrush head gets until it’s time for your subscription to ship! It’s a slim toothbrush, easy to pack up for travelig!

  • Quip is a really convenient and easy service. I love that they’re always adding new products

  • My husband and I switched to quip a couple years ago and have been very happy with the ease of use and the cleaning job these brushes do. Sending me a new battery and brush had every 3 months keep me constantly stocked and is incredibly convenient. We like the at hey stand behind their products…if you are a subscriber and have a problem with a product they just send a new one without any issue or argument. This can be hard to find and we really appreciate it. I also love the convenience of not needing a charger and cord for an electric brush.

  • I had a quip for a few years. Love the subscription service. However the base eventually broke and it wouldn't stop vibrating. I could've bought a new base but it didn't really seem worth it...? I just was never crazy about the whole design. I moved on to other brushes. I loved the ease of their subscription, and also love the timer aspect. It definitely helped me get better dental hygiene habits.

  • I have had a Quip for years!! So lightweight and makes my teeth sparkle! I love how it’s also a smart toothbrush! Favorite electric toothbrush I have ever had! I’ll never use anything else

  • Pros: I liked how I could clear up some counter space by mounting the toothbrush holder to my mirror. Bonus points for the mirror mount doubling as a travel cover! It's also just an aesthetically pleasing toothbrush. The different colors are cute. Cons: I've received more than one toothbrush head in my subscription that shouldn't have passed QA. It didn't sit perfectly flush with the handle and would come off while I was brushing my teeth. Quip sent me free replacements every time as soon as I wrote into support with pictures, but it's a hassle to deal with in the first place. My biggest gripe though is that it's just a vibrating toothbrush. The bristles aren't rotating or anything. It might be better than a manual toothbrush, but I don't think it's as good as other electric brushes on the market.
