My hair is getting dryer and more fragile as I age. I stopped coloring and allowed the gray to shine. I am pleasantly surprised that the gray is actually silver and not the dreaded yellow most blondes seem to get as they get older. I started using Prose when I saw ads on IG. I've been using it for about six months now, and my hair has come alive. I use the shampoo, conditioner, supplements and occasionally the hair mask. I am a very satisfied customer.

My hair texture definitely improved when I was both taking the supplements and using Prose hair products. However, the price of the products is not sustainable for my budget and I do rotate with generic products to compensate. Overall a great experience and love the intention of the brand - just not feasible for us broke folks and therefore I’m mindful of who I recommend these products to.

Their products I use are for hair, have not tried the skin products. As far as I’m concerned, there is no rival. I will put up with the horrible website and keep buying my shampoo and conditioner from them. My hair is LOVELY since I started using this company. Just want them to make the website easier to navigate and use.

I have noticed improvement in my hair’s thickness and it is less frizzy. I have been using the product for several months and people have commented on the improvement of my hair.

Good products, but two stars off for their dishonest and scammy subscription process. I've been a user of Prose products for about 5 months now. I like how my hair looks and feels, and it's the only products I've ever used that help stop the itchiness of my scalp. That said, I'm really, really unhappy with their subscription process: I only shampoo my hair 2x a week, so bottles of shampoo and conditioner last for 6 months. The LONGEST possible time between subscription shipments on the Prose site is 3 months. They DON'T alert you that a new shipment is about to be sent, so if you're not paying attention you will get a whole new boxful of product way before you need it. In order to delay your every-3-month shipment, you have to log in to your account and do it manually. The maximum delay time is 4 weeks. That means, if I want to only receive product every 6 months, I have to log in to my Prose account every month for 3 months to reset the delay. It's SUPER ANNOYING and almost enough to make me want to cancel my subscription, I really do like the products - but this inconvenient subscription system makes me feel like I'm being SCAMMED. Buyer beware - if you're an infrequent shampooer like I am, be prepared to spend time managing your subscription or you'll be up to your ears in product before you know it.

The bottles look nice, and it’s a cool concept, but I did not find the shampoo and conditioner to be any better than ones I could buy at a store.

First of all, I am rating the hair care 4 out of 5 because I truly love it. It has made my hair much softer (was a coarse ‘Brillo Pad’ before). My grey is much brighter and everyone compliments me on it. My hairdresser noticed how much healthier my hair is after only a few weeks. Because of cost it didn’t fate a 5/5 As for the skin care…maybe 3 out of 5. I was excited when it came out and at first I thought it was nice, not exceptional, but after a couple of months using it my skin feels much oilier and just as dull as it was. Not going to repurchase.

I loved taking the quiz but after testing their shampoo for 3 weeks, I felt that it wasn't worth the money compared to my usual shampoo routine. Not for me.

My hair has never been shinier or less frizzy since using prose hair products. I love all the scents. The one time I had to contact customer service they were extremely helpful.

I’ve been using Prose for over a year now and I’m so happy with the transformation of my hair. I specifically wanted to combat frizz and dry texture and in just a month, I’ve noticed a difference! I also just tried the dry shampoo which is the first dry shampoo that I actually like MORE than the aerosole applications. I’m excited to try the rest of the Prose line - I heard the shampoo mask is amazing!

I wanted to love it, I really did. It was just 'meh'. Except for the pre-mask shampoo, the product is very watery; this isn't too bad for shampoo but for a conditioner, one wants to be able to massage in the product and feel it in your hair. You end up using more than you probably need to but when it's rinsed, it does feel soft. I lost just as many hairs using this product (and I used it all up before I reviewed) as I do with any other brand. It's extremely expansive and if you don't live on the East Coast of North America, it takes a very long time to ship. The shampoo may last a month but the conditioner, definitely not. As well, the amount you get is minimal. I gave it a 2 because it does smell nice. Overall, there is no difference to my hair.

The product this company offers cannot make up for the horrific customer experience. I intentionally order 2 months of supplements with my first order of shampoo, conditioner, and curl cream so I could have a little longer to test that part before reordering. I then set my subscription out for 3 months, 2 to use the product and a 1 month buffer to decide on another purchase. 26 days after my first order....surprise! I had been billed for another round of prose products. I thought, no big deal, I will just cancel. The only contact info I could find for this "company" was an email. I've sent multiple emails and it's been 3 months since that first billing error. No one at prose has ever responded or ever acknowledged my complaint. I actually love the product and, ironically, would have continued to be a customer if they would have shown that they cared about me or resolving my problem at all. At this point, I've signed up with one of their competitors because they've proved to me that I can't live without the product and I also can't fathom giving them 1 more penny after being treated so poorly, especially as a first time customer! I wish I could give 0 stars.

Fell for the clever podcast ads for this product and went to its website to place an order. Filled out the too-lengthy questionnaire about my hair’s texture, the climate I live in, hair concerns, etc. and ordered a shampoo/conditioner set based on the results of my questionnaire. The “customized” product arrived with my name printed on the label, which was exciting. The second I applied the shampoo to my scalp my hair felt scratchy and dry; the conditioner felt watered down and ineffective. Once my hair dried it was frizzier and dryer than it has been with any other shampoo/conditioner I’ve tried. Would give the product one star, but added a second for their incredibly fair satisfaction guarantee: I returned the products for a full refund with zero pushback from the company.

initially i was a little skeptical of an online brand at the price. I decided to try it because i really liked the idea of a product customization based on my location, stress levels, needs, and hair type/syle etc. within a few washes i was noticing a difference. Curls i didnt know i had came out, semi tight ringlets. I started wearing my hair more naturally and i've become absolutely obsessed. it feels light, fluffy, healthy, soft and bouncy. I love my hair. They also offer "reviews" of the products. so after my first purchase i was able to go back and update my answers based on the changes i had made, no longer using curling irons and wearing my hair back in tight buns. I also prefer a stronger scent from my product, not only was i able to increase the scent amount but i can change my scent with each delivery. Coming from someone who is really big on healthy happy hair i would totally recommend this. I took very good care of my hair before (no dye, cut every 2 months, air dry, no sleeping with wet/pulled back, no blow drying, washing once a week) and i just love it even more now. I was every 3/4 days and i dont have a problem with oily or dryness and i feel like this product has really helped my hair. Since i wash so infrequently i was able to extend the product for 3 months before needing my next order to come. i would highly highly recommend it.

I love this product and the process of customizing your blends. I think it's one of the most comprehensive customizable hair care products on the market, if not THE most comprehensive. The biggest downside to this company is they don't send you a warning email before your next shipment is due to be prepared -- this means you won't be able to cancel in advance unless you are REALLY good about knowing when your subscription is scheduled for. That's a big ding for me, especially since it's not exactly cheap, and they will NOT cancel your order if you email them, even if you write them the MOMENT your "Your Order is Being Prepared" email hits your inbox. I absolutely LOVE the products but I'm not a fan of the inability to cancel orders once they've already been processed, since they don't send out "upcoming order" emails.. (and yes, I've confirmed this with their customer support. They recommended I view the "future orders" page on their website and set reminders in my calendar.) One LAST thing that would be cool -- I know they offer for your orders to come without pumps so you can reuse the pumps. What if they offered refills for the BOTTLES of your custom product, as long as you don't update your hair profile? It would be nice to be able to reuse the amber bottles instead of having to toss them and replace them each time.

If I coud put 0 star I would. Product does not meet expectation, far below. Wrongful and illegal practice in their 100% satisfaction guarantee. Do not buy unless you want to waist your time and money for a product that is low quality and a company with fraudulent practice.
