After using prose shampoo and conditioner for so long I can't go back to regular cuz my hair gets greasy so much faster. And it feels weighted down n dirty right after washing w other shampoo. Prose I wash and can let my hair air dry and it feels soft, light, super clean.

I love it. My hair has never been in better condition. I love how it customizable to where you live at. I love the scents too. However, I have short hair - so I don't use that much of each product. So it lasts me a lot longer than the shipping. They don't send you reminders that it's "about to ship" - they send an email out that it's shipped & by then it's too late. I wish they would lengthen the time of shipping so I don't forget.

The custom blend idea works great. My hair is stronger and shinier than it has ever been. Their review process to tweak is effective. Customer service is very attentive. Shipping is quick and easy, auto ship is flexible as need be. Their packaging is functional and recyclable.

I started using Prose about a year ago.I started using it because I’m a cancer survivor, and I was growing back my hair. I wanted it to be the best it could be, and I have to say that it worked. I love that they ask you questions about your hair type and give you a personalized set just for you. I don’t use the vitamins, I tried them, but I find it hard to be consistent with them. I have thick hair already anyway, so that wasn’t my issue. I needed nourishment for the hair I have, and Prose definitely keeps my locks looking lovely. If I had to suggest any type of improvement on this brand, I would say it would be nice if they added a soft natural fragrance, but they just did that, so they’re one step ahead of me. One other thing I might change is the vitamin regimen. I felt like it was a lot of pills to take. I don’t know what I would do to make that better, but I just could stay on top of the vitamin situation.

My hair started to look better, grow in more and feel healthier within a couple weeks.

diligently went through the quiz and spent a bunch of money on all the recommended products. ended up so disappointed! left my hair heavy and oily and didnt fix my dry ends at all. i thought maybe it takes a couple tries for my hair to get used to it, or i just didnt wash out the conditioner well enough or put a bit too much curl cream, but every attempt i made gave me the same results. guess its not for everyone took the quiz 2 years later and they recommended the same formula as last time

I really wanted to love this and this is the 3rd time I’ve come back to Prose, thinking maybe I had just gotten the formula wrong. I gave 2 stars because I love the concept. Other than that there is a lack of transparency in ingredients so I am unsure what really makes up my formulas. I also end up with super frizzy, dried out hair that even some of the grocery store brands don’t do to me. My hair dresser was shocked how bad my hair was when I went to her this past time and told me stop with whatever I was doing. Maybe the formula isn’t right but then the questionnaire maybe doesn’t quite ask the questions right.

Not impressed! The hair care system I bought (shampoo, conditioner, leave in treatment, curl cream etc) has left my hair a dried, frizzy mess. I hate wasting money, but I won't use this crap again. Staight into the trash! Another thing, I am not comfortable with the depth of questions asked.

Tried shampoo/ conditioner/ and curl cream for two full months. Although it cleaned well I saw no significant improvement vs. my regular store bought products. Curl cream was not as good as the LUS brand I’ve used for years.

I am a non-subscription person for the most part but have gotten very attached to my personalized shampoo and conditioner. The only thing I would change is I would prefer to purchase larger bottles less frequently to cut down on waste.

Just received the order. I spent a lot on the whole spread. I’m really really hoping that the product is better than the presentation. For the price I expected glass bottles. Plastic feels very cheap for what I paid and the volume of the products. Also the smell is really disappointing. It smells like cheap motel shampoo. Which makes me feel really sad. Because truthfully, even if it turns out to be a decent product…if it smells bad I won’t use it. Pretty bummed at the moment. Will update once I’ve used it all.

i loved playing 50 questions for them to create a personalized formula for my hair. actually noticed the difference. I missed the autoship email & needed to tweak the formula a bit- they were able to cancel so I could change a couple things. great customer service & great product! def recommend.

I placed an order first time and thought the “subscription” was applied for the discount. I got the email and noticed it was not. They would not adjust the invoice. Spent $224.75 on inflated products when I could have gotten it at $151.30. They will not credit me the difference. Poor business practice! I will not promote this biz at all. They are scammers!

The first 2 weeks of using prose went well. The product seemed to work nicely. But it was only after the first month I started to really notice how damaging this product was on my hair for the long run. I have a lot of fine hair that I dye white blonde. I am naturally blonde and even with the bleaching, my hair is always pretty soft. After using Prose for a month, my hair turned to straw. The products stripped away all my natural oils and my hair was falling out in big chunks every shower. I have recently switched back to other products and my hair is slowly going back to how it was before prose. To top this off, I forgot to cancel my subscription, but they allow you to cancel if you inform them before 12 pm eastern time the day your order is processed. I emailed them before the time period only to receive an email with a time stamp that was 6 hours later than the time sent. 1 out 10, would not recommend.

I ordered a Scent that I felt was too strong to my liking and reached out to see what could be done to return the product and get a new scent. I must say I was impressed with how efficient and helpful the customer care team was. I got a few options of getting another scent or returning for a refund. They also put next delivery on hold for a bit longer to account for these changes. They thought about it all!! I would highly recommend reaching out to them if you have any issues with the product.

My thinning grey hair is so much more manageable and actually looks fuller. I am so pleased. The scent is amazing!!!

I love Prose. I have been buying their products since April 2021. I’ve definitely noticed an improvement on my hair since. Whenever I have any questions I email them and they’re always very responsive.

I have been using Prose for almost two years now, my hair is vibrant, soft beautiful and so manageable. I don’t need to use any styling products or tools, I have curly hair and always dealt with frizz, but not since starting Prose. Absolutely love it and won’t use anything else! Even my stylist says that I’ve found a gem of a product and never tries to sell me her “recommended” products. She says my hair has completely transformed!!

I found this brand very consistent in the results I got, and the more I use it the better the results. My hair was mixed and had a lot of freeze and static, now with prose is more balanced and healthy. I'm still working on my oily scalp but I've noticed improvement.
