Great for those with sensitive scalps and hair that requires extra maintenance! The product itself is everything my hair ever needed. Each ingredient is tailored to your hair needs and my hair has never felt healthier since using. My only complaint is in regards to the billing process. Unlike other subscription-based brands, Prose will not send a reminder prior to fulfilling your next order. They also do not allow cancellation of orders that have already been placed. This often leads to ending up with way too much product at times, having not gone through them fast enough. Note, that they USED TO send these notifications, but stopped a few months after I subscribed. I can't think of any reason a business would take away this feature other than for their financial benefit... seems a bit unethical in my opinion.

Love it and is so underrated!!

I think this concept isn’t real…my mom and I both took the hair survey and we have completely different hair and we basically got the same results. Not sure how that could work. It’s expensive.

I love the concept of personalized hair care but my hairstylist told me a lot of us don’t actually know our own hair type — as in course or fine hair is relative! Be sure to ask a professional next time you’re in the salon so you won’t make the same mistakes I did — I think it may be why my personalized product was a miss for me.

Good customizable products, not always worth refilling as you can shop products that meet the same needs.

The quiz was fun and easy to take. I love that I can finally create my own custom hair care routine. My hair feels so nourished and healthy now after starting this routine. I especially love the hair oil for my extensions!

This is such a luxury! The customization is such a treat. I feel like I don’t need to wash my hair as much because this does such a good job at cleaning my hair. If this is something that you have the budget fore, then I think it’s worth your money! Gifted by Prose.

First of all the packaging is super cute and the products smell amazing. I really like the idea of personalized haircare and the in depth quiz. I got the shampoo, the conditioner and the pre shampoo mask and I love how the combo made my hair feel. I have dry hair so using the pre shampoo mask helped my hair retained moisture going into the rest of my routine. Loved that the shampoo wasn't drying and that after conditioning, my hair felt stronger since my hair is also fine. Although the experience was nice, I didn't notice enough of a difference to justify the price. Complimentary from Prose.

these products are amazing and so unlike any other hair products i’ve ever tried. my hair is tough - it’s very thin and limp but curly, which is very hard to find products for! I love that this is the ultimate personalization that is almost impossible to not work! I’m obsessed with the smell and how it makes my hair look and feel - shiny, healthy and bouncy! I don’t think i’ll ever enjoy any other hair products as much as these. gifted by prose.

I loved the fact that you can order refills without the pump. Makes me feel much better about purchasing! Scents are really nice, and definitely love the dry shampoo and curl cream.

I also recommend this product. I think it’s really awesome. I think this part will do really well for people.

The products smell amazing and are hydrating

When I first purchased the shampoo/conditioner several years ago, wasn't into it and didn't rebuy. Friend with amazing hair still absolutely loves Prose, so I gave it another shot last year and retook the hair quiz. My hair definitely felt noticeably more healthy and soft after 3-4 days. Just restocked.

Amazing products

Ok, this stuff is GOOD good! Lately, my hair has been looking and feeling so lifeless, dull, and flat, so I'm so happy to have found this custom protocol from Prose. I really enjoyed the quiz- I thought it was quite comprehensive and covered all the bases. I was skeptical of the pre shampoo mask because I didn't want to add more time and steps to my routine, but it's actually become my favorite product, and I think its helped my hair the most! I also got a purple conditioner, and the curl cream. They're in the Palma scent which I'm obsessed with!!! I think having the same scent in all 3 products makes a huge difference and my hair smells amazing until it's time to wash it again. After just one wash night using these 3 products, my hair has its life back. I like to air dry my hair, and my Prose protocol makes it so soft, bouncy and voluminous even without using any heat. I don't have curly hair, but the curl cream enhances my natural loose waves and I love the look. This is absolutely my new fav hair line! Gifted by Prose

Love using prose! Get so many compliments on my custom scent and I love how specific it gets with environment, activity, not just hair type. I cancelled my subscription because it’s just too much product but still buy one-offs for the shampoo/conditioner/hair mask/curl crème

I love the personalized experience for Prose really getting to know my hair and the hair type along with what I am looking for in my hair care journey. I have been using the pre-shampoo mask along with the shampoo and conditioner and it has really given a glow up to my hair. It feels alot more nourished and hydrated and doesn't get as tangly as before. Gifted by Prose

I love luxury haircare so I was pleasantly surprised to really like my three products from Prose (shampoo, conditioner, and scalp detox). I have fine, thin hair and my favorite part of using all three products at once was being able to extend time between washes. The scalp detox was an oddly thin texture compared to other brands but it actually into my scalp a lot more easily, so I can see why they went that route. Overall the process of doing the quiz to get the haircare was fun, but I will say that because mine were gifted by Prose I didn't have to go through the subscription process that everyone else is complaining about (so I can't speak to that frustration).
