I love Prose however, I recently received my shampoo in a plastic instead of a glass bottle which frustrated me. Their formulas make my hair soft and feel healthy - plus I love knowing exactly what's in the bottle. It gives my hair exactly what it needs and nothing extra :)

Not a fan of their facial skin care line. The hair care products are ok. The scent is very light, which I personally didn't like, but if you're scent sensitive, it might be a good fit. I tried the first set, and then put my review in for my second set, but still unimpressed. Plus, it is fairly expensive and the bottles are small. I'll be sticking with Tweak'd by Nature and Wen by Chaz Dean haircare. Better results, and more bang for my buck. (Plus a larger variety of scenes and more concentrated scents; for those with scent-sensitivity Tweak'd has an excellent fragrance free line!) Also, one thing I really did not appreciate was no heads-up email on my upcoming renewal of subscription. I should be on top of that myself, but with all the other subscription services on everyone's lives, and how busy life is, it's easy to forget. Every other service I use, regardless of product or service offered, send an email a week or so before renewal. Since Prose is "tailored" for each individual customer, there's absolutely no cancelation after orders are placed, which I understand. But that just highlights the need for s heads up. Also, reaching out to customer service has never gotten me a response, or even acknowledgement.

I started using my Prose shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner and curl cream formulations 60 days ago. I have long fine thin hairs, but a million of them, with various degrees of natural curl in different parts of my head, and had damage from mid-shaft downward from heat styling which I need to do if I want all the areas to look uniform, and years of non-bleach lightening to make my mousy color a honey blonde. Simethicone products look greasy on me rather than shiny, and other curl creams weigh my hair down and look gunky. The Prose products are working wonderfully on my hair. It did not make my curls all uniform because that’s just my weird hair (some areas straight, some gently curly (large loops) and one big section of kinky hair - wtf!) but both my Prose leave in conditioner and curl cream have heat protectant so I’m using them both before I heat style. My hair the past month is shinier from top to bottom with no more visible damage mid-shaft to ends, it’s got a clean light bounce, looks thicker and holds my styled curls much better. I love how my hair looks, I have been wearing it down more, and other women have been complimenting me and asking me who’s now “doing” my hair. I also love the scent (I have Oasis). I love my Prose products and think I’ll be a long term customer.

The products smelled good and my hair get healthy using them. I don’t think I even ended up using half of the conditioner before I had moved on to something else and threw it away. I did not repeat my purchase.

I tried the Prose Shampoo, and not only does it smell amazing, but it left my hair feeling soft and manageable. My hair felt clean and moisturized. I'm highly impressed with this brand.!

I tried prose but wasn't impressed. Thhough it was customized for me, I didn't feel like it helped with frizz, or did anything a drugstore shampoo and conditioner wouldn't have done for me. It smelled nice, but for the price, I wouldn't repurchase it.

The honestly smell so good and they have helped my hair a lot making it strong and soft🤍

Gimmicky- Fun products that are a little overpriced. I don’t think that I saw a huge difference with the products. I got the shampoo, conditioner, supplements and leave in conditioner.

I really like this personalized skincare set. It comes with everything that I need to use in my skincare routine. I love that I asked for no fragrance and it really is no trace of it. Tha cleanser cleans my skin very well, the serum fells a little sticky at first but after I apply the moisturizer everything feels so smooth and soft. Complimentary from Prose.

Such cute packaging and has really helped my dry hair. Love that it's all customized.

Works ok, smells great, texture isn’t the texture I like best, leave in conditioner leaves a little residue you can feel and curl cream leaves a little frizx

I dunno the quiz and personalization is cool in theory but did it actually help my hair? Or did they just slap a personalized sticker on a bottle that was already in inventory hmm idk

While I love the luxe feeling it brings to my shower, it left my hair feeling extremely greasy. When I reached out to customer service they said they could send a new formula, but it was still for a costly fee so I opted out and will not be returning as a customer. Luckily, I had only ordered the shampoo as I feared about the quality of the product and how it would work with my hair type (wavy, long, frizzy, and hair dyed).

I took the quiz and they sent me the shampoo and conditioner and hair oil. I did like the hair oil somewhat but for the price I think there are better products. I didn’t notice a change in my hair health or density but the custom packaging and non toxic ingredients were nice just not for the price point. It’s a subscription service but if they send you the product and you decide to cancel the return process is very quick and customer friendly.

I think this is the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever used.

This product really transformed my hair. I swear it allowed me to pay for less hair cuts bc it help my hair so healthy

I really enjoyed the process and concept of how each item is customized to your wants and needs. However, there's one flaw. The first shampoo I ordered from Prose was amazing and when I finished my bottle, I was back on the site to repurchase, however I noticed they changed my formula, which I didn't like as much. I reached out to customer service about it and they sent me this "Unfortunately, we're unable to exactly remake your previous formula - I'm so sorry about this. To explain a bit, we created Prose as an evolving product that improves based on our latest research and customers' feedback. For example, our active ingredients and algorithm are constantly finessed by our chemists, which means that your formulas may slightly change with each purchase. This is meant to ensure you're receiving the best possible products for your needs, and it's part of the reason why we don't offer a traditional "reorder" experience linked to your order history. " Which is disappointing, the team was very nice and offered me to refund or to send another formula. And again, the formula just wasn't the same as the first, so I just stopped using it.

I was extremely skeptical of prose at first. There marketing and ads seemed a little "too good to be true", but after a few years of struggling with other "clean" shampoo and conditioner and even back sliding into some drug store shampoos filled with parabens and silicones....I finally said screw it, I'll give prose a shot. Let me tell you, that was the best thing I've done this year!!!! I have wavy/loose curly hair and have struggled for the last 10 years to get the volume and shape back into my hair. The first time I used there shampoo and conditioner, I could see my hair starting to bounce back. I slept on my hair over night in a ponytail and came into work the next day and my coworker said "holy sh*t your hair looks great today!" I have not been this excited about how my hair looked in years. My hair has so much volume and curl definition to it now. The shampoo and conditioner both smell pretty good, I look forward to showering again and seeing how much more this can improve my hair! Had a small issue with one of the pumps that came with the shampoo, but their customer support was super quick and very polite. Love it so far 100/10
