I received this set as a complimentary gift from Prose, and these are my honest thoughts after using it for over a week. I really like the idea of a custom routine made specifically for me — it feels very personalized. The cleanser has been great, it feels gentle and doesn’t leave my skin tight after washing. The moisturizer is okay, it adds some hydration but nothing too special. The serum didn’t work well for me — after applying it, my skin feels tight and dry within a few minutes, and even with moisturizer on top it still feels dehydrated, especially by the next morning. I also noticed the scent is quite strong for facial skincare — it’s приятний, but a bit too much for me since I prefer lighter or fragrance-free products.

I have normal skin that leans a bit dry, and I really don’t like when I can feel products sitting on my face. The cleanser is good - nothing crazy, but it gently cleans without drying, which I appreciate. Just a solid, comfortable cleanser. What really stood out to me is the serum and the moisturizer. They are actually customized for my skin, and you can really feel that level of personalization in how they perform. The textures are very light, absorb beautifully and leave zero residue. You take an online quiz to be able to get the exact formula that your hair needs. The product is made just for you. The scalp mask goes directly onto your wet scalp and helps to keep your scalp clean, which is important part of washing day. The shampoo lathers up nicely since a lot of the dirt is washed away with the scalp mask. The conditioner hydrates without leaving my hair feeling heavy. My hair is left feeling soft, shiny and bouncy.

I have very dry hair with lots of split ends and feel like I’ve tried every recommended shampoo and conditioner. I was really excited to test out this brand after hearing about the customization of each product, and it being tailored to your hair. After a thorough questionnaire (including how my local area’s conditions effect my hair) I was able to choose a custom scent, see what ingredients would be added into my products and how each one would combat my issues. I love how all the products are made with my needs in mind and labeled with my name on them! After using these products a handful of times I can say that I’m a huge fan of the Meleni scent (it’s perfect for the upcoming summer months and isn’t overwhelming) and like the way it makes my hair feel/look after use. Something to note is that since the products are made to order, they can take a few days to make and process before shipping out, mine took about 4 days to create before being sent out, and another 5 days in the mailing process. Overall I’m very happy with the products and am looking forward to seeing how my hair will be repaired after long term use. Gifted by prose
