I have never been so impressed by a hair set. I have been with Function of Beauty for 7 years and swore they were the best, but i decided to give Prose a try and i am blown away. My hair has never felt so soft and natural in a very long time, i still have a bit of an itch still on my back right side but i am sure over time it will go away. I would highly recommend Prose every time now. So much that I cancelled my Function subscription and became a permeant user of Prose! They are awesome! Everything I bought super surprised me, from how thick the shampoo is to how watery the leave in was. Even with saying that the incredible difference after feeling my hair was like wow! And the smell don’t even get me started on how wonderful natural smelling Prose products are! I cannot wait to finish my first set and start my next! #ProsePraise

Shipping took just slightly longer than expected - they said it was due to a high volume of orders. I can believe it! Honestly I am grateful to receive such a good product at this price. I like that every step of the process feels customized, all the way down to the ingredients in the bottle and my name on the labels. I think my most favorite thing about the shampoo, conditioner, and curl cream is the SMELL! Wow! I can't get enough of it. It's the perfect amount of fruity and floral and yummy! After my hair dries (I don't blow dry), it smells amazing and it feels healthier than it has felt in years. My hair has been lightened with highlighters and peroxide sprays, and the ends are definitely split and frazzled beyond belief. Now shampoo and conditioner can only do so much; I don't expect Prose to heal my broken ends, especially not after just 2-3 washes. But I am still impressed that even the dried, brittle ends have regained some of their curl and flexibility. My hair is shinier too, especially the farther up the strand you go. I was also impressed by the zero-plastic packaging and the pump bottles. Pump bottles are so convenient! I had some trouble turning one of the pumps into the Open position the first time, and I was worried I'd broken it. But amazingly it ended up being okay! I got it to work. Also, I have not mentioned the curl cream much up to this point (I bought the shampoo, conditioner, and curl cream), and I just want to say, the curl cream does seem to work. I have a fragile and subtle curl pattern, and I am still learning how best to use curl cream in general, but I'm happy with it. It kind of doubles as a leave-in conditioner when you think about it so that has got to be good for hair health! I'm definitely going to keep using Prose. The only thing I'd add is that although the packaging was super thoughtful and they even added reusable plastic travel containers, I did not find those travel containers useful because they are bag-shaped rather than bottle-shaped, and I have my own travel bottles from Dollar Tree that I prefer over a bag. Sorry! But I still appreciated the thoughtful touch.

Great value for products that are high end competitive with equal results. Even my stylist is jealous of my hair! And after just a couple of days with the skin care, I am already welcoming similar results! #ProsePraise

I love Prose! From the very first time using it, it began transforming my hair! After several reviews and refinements the formula is now perfect for me. I’m able to manage and style my curly hair even though my texture is not perfect. I’ve learned how to change and pause my subscription so I don’t either run out of or acquire too much of one or more products. When I emailed the team about my subscription I received an immediate and helpful response. Because Prose is customizable and actually works for me better than the hundreds of previous products I’ve purchased over the years, I’m more than willing to pay the price for Prose. Thank you!

I am loving the personalized Prose hair and skin products. To start, I have curly hair (type 2C) and I live on a cold, northern island in the Atlantic Ocean. So, even when it’s frigidly cold, it’s also humid. This is a challenge for curly hair. However, my hair has definitely been less frizzy since I started Prose. I also find it to be growing faster with less breakage than I noticed previously. I use the oil once weekly on my scalp and ends. I use the pre shampoo treatment once weekly (or more if I’ve been swimming a lot). I use the shampoo and conditioner every 2-3 days and leave-in after every wash. At present I probably style it once or twice a week using the gel. I started using these products when I was early postpartum because I wanted to take preventative action for when the dreaded postpartum shedding started. Of course, it still happened (because hormones) but I think the Prose helped it stay healthy and strong. Loved most of the scents I’ve tried so far. I also like the minimalist packaging and the ability to opt out of applicators. A suggestion would be to have the option of “refilling” and sending the product in something that can just be poured into the bottles you already have. Recently tried the skin care line too. It’s quite lovely for my skin which is very sensitive and basically reacts to most things. I would note that when applying the serum, I have noticed it will foam up if you rub it at all. So, follow the instructions carefully and actually pat it onto your skin instead of massaging. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it’s a little pricey. But if you don’t mind a hair splurge, I’d say go for it. #ProsePraise

Causes hair loss, damage, and extreme breakage. Their customer service is a joke and they wouldnt give me my money back even though I submitted a request to cancle immediately after receiving confirmation of my purchase. They don't let you choose a long enough extension for your subscription either. They're a waste of money and time! The best they could do for putting up with their negligence is credit my account 10$ that expires within a year. I can't stress enough. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Starting using this a month ago and didn’t get the results I wanted originally but spoke with their specialist about the issues I was having and got it resolved in less than a week. Anna from Prose was awesome and really cared about the results I wanted and wasn’t getting so she recreated the formula and sending it out soon! She has answered all questions and concerns…even pushed back the orders for me so I didn’t have to!

This is my first time trying Prose products and I’m literally obsessed!! I love the idea of made-to-order products as I know the products are fresher than the ones in big mass stores sitting on the shelves for months!! Anyways, first I took their online consultation and got the personalized products that would be best for my hair type (wavy, damaged, thinning, colored). Then they sent me my custom products (I got a shampoo, conditioner and a curl cream). I love using the shampoo and conditioner I got that targets my colored, thinning and damaged hair!! I have been using these for about 3 weeks now to test them out and omg, my hair feels so much healthier and sheds way less than before!! I feel like my hair got more voluminous too!! I love the scents they use in these products too!! Very luxurious!! Lastly I got a curl cream that gets rid of my frizz and makes my waves look more defined and smooth. I love using this on days I don’t use any heating tools to style my hair as I love the pretty natural waves I get using it!! I've never used a customized formula anything. I think the concept is amazing. I am getting a curated products made especially for my hair. You take a quiz to determine your hair health, wants and needs in a product and scent of product. You will then be given recommendations for products and accessories. I love the pre-shampoo hair mask. I think it was a game changer for my hair. The shampoo smells and workes great. It feels like it made my hair super clean, even better than a clarifying/detoxification shampoo. Conditioner smells amazing and also works great. I didn't have to use as much product which is a huge plus. The biggest change I've noticed is the shedding...I was having clumps of hair coming out prior to using Prose. Recently, I had the opportunity to try 3 Prose Products for a Complete Customized Haircare Routine that I received complimentary from Prose. It started by having me answer some basic questions and ended in a truly personalized Haircare routine with 3 amazing products. And I do mean truly personalized routine, complete with each product, having my name on it, and a pamphlet with my name on it, which had each product and the ingredients, as well as a QR code that can be scanned and for a complete breakdown of instructions and key ingredients. My routine included a Shampoo, Conditioner and a Curl Cream. And honestly, I cannot tell you which product is better. Together all three of these products have done an amazing transformation on my hair. My curls have always been unruly and hard to manage. But now they are full, soft, defined. I chose the scent oasis , and I am obsessed with it! Overall my hair looks healthier and I could not be more pleased! I highly highly recommend Prose!

I love a good set and this didn't disappoint. My fave is the pre shampoo mask, I only need a bit and it leaves my hair SO soft. Shampoo and conditioner are so good too!! I like that you don't need a million pumps of each product to get a good lather and get your hair soft. Gifted by Prose. What I liked most from my personal set was the pre-wash hair mask. After the mask, the hair is smooth and nourished and is easy to comb. The shampoo cleanses my hair well, sometimes I need to shampoo my hair twice, but the Prose shampoo does the job well in one wash. All products have a pleasant fruity-floral scent.
