Heard a lot of great things about this company and have had friends recommend trying so I did. The products were nice the scent I chose smelt amazing but didn’t seem to match my hair well and left it felling off but thanks to the incredible customer service team we talked through concerns and alternative formulas which has led to them sending a new formula free of charge. I’m hoping this one is just what I need🥰

I do really like the concept of Prose but even with a specific pairing and unique ingredients for my hair type, I found other products worked better. I've only stuck with the custom curl cream (for curly/wavy hair) but did not continue my subscription with the others. The curl cream does in fact keep the waves and curls bouncing!

Innovative product and brand. I loved the idea of custom hair products. It is made just for me and for my type of hair since hair is not a one products fits all. My hair has gotten so much healthier after using prose products. Only downside is that its expensive.

I kept seeing ads for Prose and looked into it but thought it was a bit pricy. I finally caved and subscribed and I am astounded at the results! And the customer service is bar none!! I had sent them an email saying I still had some dryness and frizz and they sent me suggestions like 'plopping' my hair. I didn't even know what plopping was, so I looked it up. It looked silly and like it wouldn't do anything, but I tired it as well as using the cold setting to diffuse (another suggestion). I was amazed, AMAZED, at the results! I had no idea my hair could be like this! I LOVE MY PROSE!!

I used Prose’s custom shampoo and conditioner for a few months and liked it but didn’t notice anything transformational. I wish they were more clear about how my personal details translated into my custom formulation, and I wish I could repurchase on my own cadence instead of their suggested cadence. I do like that they use clean nontoxic ingredients. And their dry shampoo is one of the best powder options I’ve found.

The subscription portion is a little difficult to understand and it's hard to cancel / skip shipments. However, the products themselves smell wonderful. I appreciate that they're tailored to the customer's hair type.

I wanted to like this because a lot of my friends raved about their results. I tried the curl cream and the leave-in conditioner. I wouldn't consider this any better than other brands and my curls came out after a few pass-throughs of my hand through my hair. Disappointed! I did like the smell though

Okay - THE BEST NEW BRANDS I've ever tested! RUN FOR IT I received the Shampoo, conditioner, the pre-masks, and hair brush. This BRAND IS AMAZING! Website experience was the best, and delivery as well Since I'm using the brush and the hair care my hairs are BACK TO NORMAL! back to the European water era even tho I m still in NY (with the chemical water) The smell is delicious, the personalized sticker is as well! I would maybe use a glass or different bottle - maybe insert a return label were we could ship back the old container to be recycled or reused if it would have been glass?

Tried a few customized products and wasn’t entirely impressed. You’re able to choose your own scent for your products but the one I choose was very mild and didn’t necessarily leave my hair smelling fresh. I do like that you can customize everything, but I couldn’t tell much of a difference between these customized ones and less expensive universal products.

I love the concept and the packaging. Who doesn't want customized shampoo and conditioner? The quiz you take to determine your hair potion is fun, simple, and quick. I gave Prose a 3/5 because I love the brand but I didn't love the product. I'm not sure if it's my hair or the water in Michigan but ever since using the product my hair has become super matted. I've since switched shampoo and conditioner to another brand but it still hasn't solved the problem. If you're willing to pay around $30 for your hair and want to try something new I say give prose a shot! However, be prepared for the weeks it will take your hair to adjust. Side note: I was disappointed in their dry shampoo. The bottle dispenser made application messy and it's too bulky for travel size.

I received this complimentary from Prose. I feel like a princess with my name on the three bottles. I am totally impressed and can't wait to wake up in the morning and use these products. First of all, the cleanser makes my skin so soft and ready for my serum and then the moisturizer last makes my skin feel complete. I am so hydrated now that I use these, and it smells so good. My skin tone is bouncier and even has a nice glow. It's definitely soothing my skin well.

So I have very dry thick hair and it has been hard for me to find a shampoo and conditioner that work together so well. After trying prose, my hair has never felt healthier and stronger before. I also got their curl cream customized to my hair and that makes my hair so wavy and fluffy. I love it too much. They also sent me hair supplements that I haven’t tried yet, but I thought it was such a genuine recommendation. They truly care about their products and do have high quality ingredients. I don’t think I can go back to traditional hair care after this.

I LOVE prose. I have a slightly unusual hair type (super fine, wavy, but a lot of hair), so sometimes it's hard to find products that work. Prose WORKS. After three washes, my hair has never been so shiny, bouncy, and soft. My hair is so soft, my claw clips keep falling out. If you've had a hard time finding products that work for you, I'd definitely recommend giving prose a try.

First of all absolutely in love with the personalized packaging, second of all the entire process was amazing! The quiz was very easy going, lifestyle and hair concern detailed. The products are great, the texture, size and scent (love that you can chose your scent or any at all) a little product goes a long way. My favorite, of all the products gifted by prose, is the pre shampoo hair mask, it helps a lot to detangle my curls before the wash hair routine avoiding unnecessary breakage; provides hydration and I know that would be a most on my routine from now on. The shampoo and conditioner are great as well, it creates a good amount of lather, as always I did the twice shampoo technique followed by the conditioner; my curls felt hydrated, bouncy and soft. 100% recommend if you are looking for custom hair products personalized for your concerns.

Everything about this brand has impressed me. This hair care set was gifted by Prose and I loved the custom experience and filling out the survey to create a specialized line of products that suits my needs, I can even order unscented. The shipping was quick. The packaging is top notch and looks chic and high end. And the products all feel incredible. My favorite is the conditioner, it makes my hair feel soft and manageable without adding any extra products to my post wash routine. The pre shampoo mask feels so good on my hair and I have super long hair, so it’s nice to give my length and ands some extra TLC. The shampoo checks all the boxes for me, helps protect my color and leave my hair feeling clean without any heaviness. This line is definitely a treat and I can feel good about using it because I helped to customize the ingredients and the experience. Highly recommend.

I was provided my custom set complimentary from Prose in exchange for my honest review. The process to build my customized set was really thorough, and hit everything from hair type to scalp health to styling habits- even picking my preferred fragrance! I like that I was able to choose a silicone free formula, and the curl cream did a lot to tame my frizz. Maybe a little too tamed? I’d like to try it with the gel next, but I’m pretty happy with my experience so far!
