The hair mask is great on its own, but using it with a little heat really activates it; it leaves my hair feeling extra soft and deeply hydrated even before shampooing. I have curly hair, so finding the right products is always challenging. It always felt that once I'd find products that work, about every 6 months I'd have to switch to something else, almost like my hair would get used to it, move past the novelty stage and say, nope, give me something else! So I was excited to try the customized approach that Prose offers. It felt like I've found the winner for a while, but then my hair was getting drier and easily breaking and I had to switch to a different product. I have friends who love Prose, but perhaps it's the curly hair that is wildly "strong-willed" that needs something else.
