Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

My neighbor has one that I have used many times. The classes are fantastic! It’s not just about riding the bike. There are all kinds of workouts at all levels. There really is something for everyone.

My parents bought a Peloton for Christmas, so I’ve used it a number of times to work out. It definitely provides you with a killer workout! I had never taken a spin class or anything before Peloton, and I enjoyed it. I really like the variety of classes you can choose from. I probably wouldn’t purchase my own Peloton, though, because it’s quite pricey and then on top of the bike itself you pay a monthly fee for the classes. I think this is a worthwhile purchase if you’re going in on it with other people.

I enjoy the quality of my peloton bike as well as their classes.

More privacy and transparency in your data practices. Include a cover in your future designs to cover your Webcams when not in use. More body type inclusivity in your coaches.

The bike is great and so convenient for at home workouts. Saves you a lot of time and money then running out to an in person class. Most of the instructors are great! Very easy to follow along on the rides.

I bought the Peloton in April of 2020 to deal with my anxiety. It is one of my favorite ways to start the day. I have been so happy with my purchase.

Awesome experience and great results. You can easily customize your workout to suit your music taste, vibe, and what you want to achieve. Great pick-me-up!

Option to turn down the instructor’s voice and turn up the music - sometimes you just want to focus on the beat

This is the only way I can consistently convince myself to workout as a new mom. It not only allows me to get a fun and challenging cycling workout in, but I can cross train with a variety of classes via the app on my tv. The instructors are so lovable and motivating. I couldn’t be a bigger fan.

After paying off the machine you are still on the hook for $44 / month in membership fees which is cost inhibitive for a good deal of people who could potentially budget for the monthly payments of the bike in the short term.

I bought the peloton at the beginning of the pandemic (like most people) it was good but no substitute for live classes. So expensive and the keep increasing the monthly subscription, not worth it IMO

Stop raising prices

I really enjoy my Peloton because I can have a quick and challenging workout at home - I wish that the cost of the monthly subscription was lower, but that's the price of software as a service.

I've owned my Peloton for four years now. They continually add new content and add value to the subscription and it is the first piece of exercise equipment I have in my life that never gets old!

I wish there was a way to message other members (or at least have the option to do so -- privacy settings to open or closed?)

I never thought I would join the Peloton movement due to pricing. I thought it was crazy to pay that much for a bike! However, I have become a huge fan for Peloton and everything it offers. I couldn't go back to solely a gym membership, especially when Peloton has so many different class offerings and workouts! I love my Peloton and use it about 4-5 times a week.

Really enjoy my peloton! Got the peloton plus and love to have the option to move the screen and do workouts off the bike. Really enjoy the option to have resistance auto adjust when doing cycling classes. Bike also feels very secure when riding. They offer a variety of different workouts and like how it easily connects to Apple Watch. The instructors are all great.

I am a huge fan of peloton- the bike, the app, the instructors. It has changed how I work out and given me access to so much content!

I was finally able to try out Peloton during a recent vacation after I found a bike in my hotel gym. Needless to say, I went down to ride almost every other morning and as soon as I got home I ordered one for my home. I've never been able to stick with indoor machines at the gym, but with Peloton, instead of counting down the seconds on the clock for when the workout would be over, I was both mentally and physically engaged the entire ride, and 30 minutes flew by. It's the instructors, the content, and the variety of classes that kept me coming back. Also since I was able to pay in installments interest-free, it was much more accessible than having to pay up front.

Subjectively, I think the branding could be more exciting and emotive. It's somewhat bland and one-note. I would love to see it evolve and incorporate more lifestyle elements that allow for personal expression, especially considering it lives in areas of our home like our bedrooms. What would it look like if we could customize our bikes, our shoes, etc?

I have become one of those a-holes obsessed with Peloton. Seriously though, it's made a huge change to my fitness level--especially given the fact that I couldn't go to the gym when covid hit.
Feedback
The music is pretty repetitive.

I'm not a huge cardio person, but these are the most enjoyable cardio classes I have done. Plus, I enjoy their strength classes - great for when you have dumbbells but not a full gym. I also use their stretches frequently. Good production quality and instructors. Great for my whole family to use the app through one general membership.
Feedback
I'd love to see some more heavy-lifting focused strength classes geared toward muscle building with access to a full gym (vs. the more HIIT style or high volume/lower weight strength classes that they offer)

Genuinely the best money I've ever spent, a true investment in yourself.

The version I have doesn't connect very well to the apple watch - I think the bike+ does.

I have been a dedicated member of Peloton for over four years and start 99% of my days with their classes. When the bike came out I thought it was such an innovative product. The instructors are great and I appreciate how Peloton always comes out with new classes. I am also a huge fan of the strength and tread programs.

I discovered Peloton in 2018 and loved their bike so much that I decided that they would be my dream company to work for, ultimately becoming an employee there in 2021. Bias aside, the bike was one of those things I never knew I needed until I tried one. I really disliked working out in general but the Peloton just makes the workout experience for me less painful. Riding my Peloton is also how I discover new music nowadays. For me, retention is the biggest challenge when it comes to workouts, usually after the initial excitement of buying/starting a new product or program it slowly gets less appealing and gets less use, but I think Peloton's constant new content and very likable instructors (CODY!) is the key for continuous use after many years.
Feedback
I would love for Peloton to produce more content beyond a spin class/running class format. Travel routes, gaming, scavenger hunts, etc. I find some of their offerings a little confusing. The membership offerings confused for a long time and some of their hardware products looks/feel very similar despite having very different price points.

The community Peloton has the ability to create is one of a kind.
