Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

Peloton has changed my perspective on at-home workouts. Truly a game changer!
Love my peloton bike and the wide range of classes. Love the new beta with Amazon linked as I would love to read or watch a show while I bike. I truly wish the monthly subscription was cheaper. At that rate I much rather have access to a full gym with much more exercise equipment. I also feel like the music isn’t quite curated to what I want to listen to so I often find myself muting the classes and using my own playlist. I wish there was an option to add your own music to a ride or recommendations based on your loved songs and bookmarked classes.
I used it for about a year but then never really touched it. I think it’s definitely meant for someone who loves cycling as their main source of exercise. I personally just like to mix it up so I don’t really use it much anymore. It was more of a fad. However, if you love cycling and cardio, then this is definitely worth it!! They’re super fun classes, great instructors, and awesome community.
I have the Peloton Cycle as well as the membership via the app. Absolutely love my cycle and I believe it is worth every penny. Additionally, the app makes working out on the go, or when you're not at home immersive and habit-forming. 5/5 would definitely recommend.
As a woman approaching 50, I needed a way to get back into some sort of shape. I’m a former division one athlete, and my knees are shot. It became hard for me to run and do a lot of things that I used to do. I decided to try the Peleton app and I seriously love it. There are live classes as well as on. Demand. No signing up for gym classes that you end up missing. No drive time to and from the gym. You can do these classes anywhere. The variety of programs and classes and instructors is unmatched. As someone who travels frequently for work as a destination wedding photographer, I love that I don’t have to completely ruin my workout streaks due to travel. The app travels with me. Instructors are personable and inspiring. I honestly recommend this to everyone no matter what fitness level they are currently.
I don't own a Peloton myself, but I travel a lot and get SO excited when the hotel gym has a Peloton. It's the workout I'm going to do! If my apartment was bigger I'd definitely get a bike myself too. They have so many classes and not just for the bike.
wouldn't be able to get any workouts in without it! it's the perfect thing for parents of little kiddos -- i'll sneak in a 20-30 min workout during naps or when we have childcare
My butt and inner groin hurt so much after few rides. Interesting contents with good work out.
The Peloton app is where it's at-- you don't need their equipment to benefit from the many classes. They are so much more than spin, and I appreciate the wide range of options like post-natal yoga and low impact training.
This bike made me love spin! Love the workouts, and love having a great quality bike at home. Love how this has fit in so well with my work from home lifestyle.
Really high quality bike and so many classes to choose from!
Great workout option and love the app and workouts like yoga, guided runs etc. Fun music and helpful filtering capabilities.
Peloton is a great machine if you love cycling! I personally do not and I was hoping getting one would make me but it didn’t 😂 Overall though the classes & instructors are so good and I really like the brand.

I was an early adopter of Peloton, bought it in 2016. I liked it for a long time, but my lower body was developing more than everything else. I got a little bored with the rides, but the other workout content is high quality.
We got our Peloton during the pandemic in 2020 like everyone else and while we had to wait a couple months for our bike to arrive we have used it every week for the last three years. I really enjoy all the classes from the rides to the bootcamps to the meditations and they’re constantly uploading new content. Being parents of three kids, it’s made it way more convenient to workout at home vs going to the gym. Highly recommend!

I'm the type of person that doesn't love exercise, but having the bike right in our apartment – plus a great variety of instructors and music – has finally converted me. We got a refurbished bike for $999 – definitely worth the money when splitting between the two of us. Having access to additional classes (especially while traveling) is a nice bonus.

I love my Peloton membership! I started using it during COVID and haven't stopped. I don't even have the bike or treadmill, since those aren't my favorite forms of exercise. I enjoy the yoga, bodyweight, barre, abs, and strength workouts. I'm amazed how effective they are for the time you put in. The instructors are friendly and relatable.
Had a peloton in my apartment building and it was great. Such a quick way to get a fantastic work out. New classes constantly and live ones as well. Felt like a community.
Love my peloton! Super fun and convenient way to get fit and love collecting badges!!
Expensive but worth it. Nothing really motivates me to work out like an in home device! No excuses.
