Reviews mention

  • Engaging, charismatic instructors
  • Extensive, evolving class library
  • Sturdy, smooth ride hardware
  • Motivating, community-driven platform
  • Uncomfortable, rigid bike saddle
  • High, recurring membership fees
  • Occasional clunky software updates
  • Inconsistent hardware longevity

Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

  • I love using the Peloton bike when I am back at my parents house, but do find that there are always long updates needed on the bike after the weeks/months of not being used which can be frustrating (I have had to work with customer service a couple of times when the bike has frozen). But, the ease of the app makes Peloton worth it for me - I love using the cycle classes in my gym on non- Peloton bikes, and exploring their strength/Pilates/yoga/walking classes too!

  • I couldn’t recommend peloton enough. We have both the treadmill and the bike. As busy people, this is the most foolproof way for us to sneak in a workout. We do miss some of the social aspects of a traditional workout class — but the ease is unparalleled and quality of the workouts are fantastic. I will say, we never use the standalone app. Only use it in conjunction with the equipment. Of course, safety concerns are top of mind for us with the treadmill, so we keep it in a locked room and really appreciate the additional safety features (PIN code, etc on the treadmill).

  • I got my Peloton at the height of the pandemic, like half the customers out there I suppose, but I never became a regular user. However, as of late, I've realized I think it's all about the instructor. I had tried several different instructors and hadn't found one I fully vibed with so I never looked forward to riding. But, I recently took my first beginner class with Bradley Rose and now I'm enjoying my rides a lot more. It's just about finding an instructor that vibes with you. The app always works great and is pretty easy to navigate. I haven't downloaded the app on another device yet (like phone or ipad, I just have it on the bike), but I probably will soon because I've become more interested in the other classes that the app has to offer.

  • Addicted. This is the best and most engaging workout program. Love the bike, the instructors, the programs and the community.

  • I ride the peloton bike here and there, I love the class options and that there are options for level of difficulty. I use the app and love the variety of workout options. I mainly do the Yogo and ab workout.

  • I really wanted to enjoy Peloton but it just simply is not for me. The only pro that I found to the bike was that the class instructors were entertaining and motivating, but the actual biking itself was not enjoyable. The seat is uncomfortable and I no longer use my bike.

  • Culty for a reason. But so much more accessible and inclusive than other big name exercise brands. Very much come as you are vibes and a supportive encouraging community. Consistent, high quality at home workouts with a huge library. There’s something for everybody. Audio, picture, instructions are clear. I do wish the handlebars and screen could be more adjustable so I can do floor workouts on the bike screen without half the screen obstructed by the handlebars.

  • My Peloton bike has been one of my indifferent purchases in the past few years. I love the convenience and sleek design; however, my issue really is with the additional monthly charge for the subscription as well as the classes themselves. I feel the classes could use a revamp with their production and be a little sleeker and cooler. I continue to have moments where I question my purchase but am reminded shortly after how convenient it is.

  • I love my peloton so much. Originally I bought it before Covid and it has been a game changer. I recently got into the strength training on the bike and it’s fantastic. The instructors are top-notch especially Cody. Worth the splurge for anyone who wants to commit to a great workout that has flexibility. Sometimes I do a 10 minute workout and sometimes a 60 minute but I always feel accomplished after I get it done. They recently added a streaming feature that allows you to watch movies. In addition to the classes and games.

  • This brand is so expensive it's out of reach for the majority of people looking to do an at home workout. I also do not want young twits yelling at me through a screen to do better to do more, to extend myself beyond repair (literally). I also find it hilarious when you see discounts of almost $1000 on tv ads for their products (if they can offer that much off, it means a few things - their products are not selling, they are over priced, and people don't want them...).

  • Peloton's app is a game-changer for my fitness routine. The abundance of high-quality workout videos, from cardio to yoga, keeps me engaged. The user-friendly interface and motivating instructors make it easy to personalize my workouts. Peloton has transformed exercise into a dynamic and enjoyable experience, making it an essential part of my daily routine. Highly recommended!

  • I love my peloton, I've had it for a few years and and it's really changed my perspective on working out. It's fun and there's always something new to try out. The live classes are always so fun and energetic and it really creates a sense of community.

  • I love the Peloton classes and instructors are truly world class. This is the most consistent I've been with a workout regimen!
