Papier Reviews

Best of Thingtesting4.2

Papier earns strong reviews for beautifully designed, highly customizable stationery that often feels luxurious and writes smoothly—many note thick, fountain‑pen‑friendly paper and elegant artist collaborations—but recurring complaints cite thinner paper in recent editions, bleed‑through, awkward planner layouts, and occasional print or packaging flaws. Reviews of Papier suggest the brand is good for gifts and daily use if design and personalization matter, but planners’ organization, paper consistency, and quality control can disappoint some buyers.

  • Papier's products are SO pretty, I want it all! I love their designs and love that they can be personalized which makes great gifts for coworkers, friends and family. Everybody could use a pretty notecard or notebook to write in, but it can feel impersonal. Being able to personalize with a name or address elevates the gift a lot! The quality of the products I received was really nice, and I can't wait to gift them. They also have holiday cards, which I'll have to check out next year.

  • I recently purchased the Yearly planner. I liked that is possible to customize with my name on the front cover and the cover is pretty too. What I didn’t like was that the pages is not symmetrical with the cover and not aligned. Also I didn’t not like that first is the overview of every month and pages for each month, I would have preferred that was an option to have overview of a specific with its pages then next month. The quality of the paper are ok, but it’s quite expensive for being just a normal paper quality. It just feels like a normal planner you would by at T.J. Max or other stores. I will see how it performs but I am not sure if I will repurchase again.

  • The quality of the paper is amazing, and it's one of the only planners I love to use. The colors and patterns are always beautiful, and there is meticulous attention to detail in all the products. Easily my favorite and go-to place for all of my stationery needs.

  • Papier always has super cute stuff. Their items and packaging are always beautiful so they’re one of my go-to’s for gifting. Perfect items for new job (need those desk accessories!), teacher thank you’s, etc. From functional perspective, I will say the sticky notes are a bit of form over function. I found that these fun stickies didn’t have a ton of stick and the paper was very thin and tore easily while I tried to peel them off the pad.
