Osea earns strong reviews for effective, spa-like skincare—especially Undaria Algae Body Oil, Ocean Cleanser, and body butters that deliver lasting hydration, smoother texture, and a non-greasy glow—while drawbacks include often-strong citrus/herbal fragrance, occasional sensitivity or irritation, finicky pumps/glass packaging, and inconsistent results from acne treatments. Overall the brand is good for dry or sensitive-leaning skin seeking clean, seaweed-based formulas and luxe sensoriality, but fragrance tolerance and texture preferences matter.
AI summary based on Thingtesting reviews
I have tried several Osea products and I love their product line. I've tried their ocean cleanser, ocean cleansing mudd, red algae clarifying mask, and seabiotic water cream. Their products aren't cheap but they are stellar when it comes to performance. I have been impressed with everything I've tried. As someone switching to safe and non toxic skincare this is the best option I've found out there.

The Undaria Cleansing Body Polish is perfect! My skin feels so soft, smooth, and refreshed afterwards. I thought it was pricey, but it last awhile, especially since using it once a week has been enough. It's also much gentler than other polishes I've used, which has been great for my dry, sensitive skin.
Love their oil - feels so nice and. The clean citrusy smell is great.
Got the hyalauronic acid serum as a gift and loved the packaging and consistency. Thought it added moisture and plumpness to my skin.
I use the Vagus Nerve Oil. It smells so nice. It’s chamomile and other grounding scents. I love using like 3 pumps and then breathing in the scent before massaging my neck. It makes me feel amazing.
I’ve been a repeat buyer of the serum and liked that it absorbs into my face easily and doesn’t leave a sticky film ( absolute hard no for me w/ serums or primers.) I think it’s too pricey and stopped buying after my dermatologist said it was triggering my breakouts and not non comedogenic no matter what the bottle says.

I love how clean Osea is and that they haven’t sold out to any big names yet. Only caveat for me is the smell of their products. Which is silly when you’re getting a good product, I just have a very sensitive sense of smell! I have sensitive combo skin.
I tested the body oil - I really like the scent, but the texture threw me off a little bit. It feels kind of grainy when rubbing in. The oil moisturized my skin nicely and didn't leave me feeling greasy or like a slime ball. I'd have to test a different bottle to be sure it wasn't just the oil I received that had the weird texture but overall I would say this is a great product or someone who wants a body oil that smells nice and does the job well.
I love their moisturizer and their body oil. The packaging and the products feel luxurious but I think they are a little expensive for what you get.

I like the oil. It has a nice light and fresh citrus scent. I keep a small bottle in my car when I need some extra moisture on my legs in the Summer. I also like the fresh herbal scent of the cream. It doesn’t smell fake.
I started out with the starter set of Osea. I really loved it. I'm in my 50's now I have worked in the medical spa industry before so I am used to good products. That being said I loved everything I used and ended up ordering a few more full size products later. I saw the Undaria oil everywhere and needed to try that. I loved it. I felt very spoiled and pampered. I love the packaging. Its glass, it feels rich all the way around. The protective cream was one of my favorites. The ingredients are all things I love and I will be using it from now on.

I like being able to try the smaller starter pack to see what you like and I was given samples to try with my order and I liked that too. You can keep the small bottles for travel and refill with full size. I can't think of anything they can do better other than make it more affordable. I can't order these as much as I would like but ill splurge here and there.
Osea is pure luxury! Their body oil and body cream are staples for me. The oil leaves my skin silky smooth, while the cream provides rich hydration without feeling heavy. I love that their products are packed with clean, ocean-inspired ingredients.
Honestly one of my favorite brands right now, I first purchased their body oil in July and have been obsessed ever since. I have already noticed such a difference in my skin.
Every OSEA product has been a pleasure to use, it’s clean, the scents are beautiful and not overpowering and it looks great in the shower!
I adore this brand. Their products are top notch . The way they make me feel is worth the price
I tried a creamy sort of gel cleanser from the brand and enjoyed it well enough. Although I do enjoy the sustainable glass packaging, I found it dangerous to have in my shower, as it was constantly dropping off of wet surfaces and could have been a hazard. I loved the way the cleanser made my skin feel soft and not tight afterwards. I would certainly try other items in the line.
Such a beautiful oil! Smells great + super hydrating without being sticky or overpowered. I reach for this every winter or a night out for some glow.
I love their body butters and body oils, they have amazing quality and it works well for my dry skin!
