Osea earns strong reviews for effective, spa-like skincare—especially Undaria Algae Body Oil, Ocean Cleanser, and body butters that deliver lasting hydration, smoother texture, and a non-greasy glow—while drawbacks include often-strong citrus/herbal fragrance, occasional sensitivity or irritation, finicky pumps/glass packaging, and inconsistent results from acne treatments. Overall the brand is good for dry or sensitive-leaning skin seeking clean, seaweed-based formulas and luxe sensoriality, but fragrance tolerance and texture preferences matter.

Luxury all the way! This body oil has such an amazing absorption quality and makes my skin so soft. It’s great for winter months when the air is so dry and cold. I also like to mix it with another unscented lotion to help it last a little longer. It’s definitely on the pricier side but worth it!

Best cleanser on the market. Great for sensitive skin. It hydrates and cleanses .they use seaweed that’s so amazing for the skin: Jennifer the owner puts a lot of love into it. It’s from California. Use petashop for a discount

Amazing clean products made with seaweed. Mother daughter duo. Lots of love and intention. Obsessed with the their ocean cleanser, lip gloss, body polish and body butter. I have been using for 6 years.

Hands down my favorite body oil. It smells like I'm in a spa, super fresh and delicious citrus like grapefruit and also a hint of mango. Not overpowering at all, just perfect. It absorbs into the skin beautifully, leaving a nice glow, but not greasy. Already repurchased and will continue to do so (hence full bottle in the picture). I really need to purchase the travel size. Only downside is, that it's not available in Europe.

I bought this after listening to the founders on The Skinny Confidential Podcast (and seeing about 1000 Instagram ads of beautiful, shiny legs). The body oil is amazing. It smells wonderful, is easy to apply (I apply to damp skin after showering), and my skin is genuinely more moisturized than when I use lotion (I tend to use lotion at night). There's no heavy feeling, you can just air dry and go about your day. I only wish it were more affordable but I understand the pricing because of how much goes into producing it. It's just out of my budget but I do not think it's overpriced for the quality. I also love that the packaging is glass and not plastic.

I just ordered my refill bottle of the body oil. I recently got into dry brushing and was looking into a body oil to compliment the process. I find the Osea Oil to be the best I've tried by far. It doesn't leave any residue on my clothes after application and it dries pretty quickly as well. The smell is soothing and I find a little goes a long way with the oil.

My skin is extremely sensitive so I am always on a hunt to find what will work and won't work for my skin. I took a chance on this because of the reviews and I liked the company's ethos. This cleanser has worked great for my sensitive skin. I did knock it down one due to price and scent. i prefer fragrance free but this does have a bit of an orange citrusy scent to it

I was influenced into buying this. Maybe I don't understand what a body oil is meant for, but I was just left feeling greasy and like I wanted to wash it off (though it smells fantastic!) the pump on mine is also too powerful and I always manage to get some on the counter or wall.

Meet the oil that finally got it right. ✨ In the endless carousel of moisturizers, few manage to marry efficacy with elegance. OSEA’s Undaria Algae™ Body Oil delivers. For years, oils promised glow but left behind sticky towels, stained clothes, and a patience-testing wait before getting dressed. OSEA has rewritten that narrative with a formula as chic as it is effective. Hand-harvested Undaria algae soaks for months in nutrient-dense botanical oils, creating a golden infusion that is equal parts ritual and result. So lightweight I questioned if it could truly moisturize my parched skin, it does—absorbing quickly while clinically shown to boost elasticity and hydration. The scent is another quiet luxury: grapefruit, lime, and cypress with a touch of mango and mandarin. Invigorating, never overpowering. For the minimalists, a fragrance-free version proves that performance and sensitivity can coexist, I haven’t tried it but imagine it would be just as amazing. Most inspiring of all, OSEA is female founded and family led, born from a century-long legacy of women guided by the healing power of the sea. Today, that heritage is infused into every bottle, offering clean, sustainable skincare made in the USA that honors both body and planet. With this oil, nourishment becomes a pleasure, not a compromise…Enjoy.

I suffer from dry skin and have cycled through various body washes, lotions, and oils until I found this wonderful product. It smells fantastic and is a lovely moment of luxury post-shower. It’s non-greasy, absorbs beautifully, and keeps skin supple throughout the day. It’s expensive, but the large bottle lasts 3-4 months

The Osea body oil leaves my body glistening & feel refreshed. The scent is slightly minty, but menthol scent. I enjoy mixing it into my non-scented lotions for all day hydration.

The smell is outrageously delicious but strong, I personally don’t care but that is my warning to everyone else. The feel of the oil is aooo nice it’s not too slippery where you can’t control where it’s going. The lotion separates, but they have that written on the bottle. Also feels absolutely delightful and hydrating. I love these! The price point is a major deterrent to buying regularly though. A little goes a long way with them though so it does definitely last.

For the price, I don’t think the undaria algae body oil is worth it. It performs the same nourishment as drug store options, but tends to leave a sticky felling on the skin for much longer than other oils i’ve tried

Not sure how much it did. It felt really nice going on and made my night time routine feel lux though. The applicator is 100000/10 though and really should be industry standard for all eye products. Not sure if i will repurchase though.

I bought the full Osea set pictured as a splurge post grad school, and the scent is divine. The website describes the scent as mandarin cypress, but to me it smells like bergamot. I might not purchase the set again purely from a cost/use perspective, but this is the height of luxury.

Osea it’s such a hidden gem when it comes to skin care products! I believe I first found out about this product from a friend and then once I went online to research, I fell in love. The branding is very high in luxury, but the products really take the cake here! I have purchased the body oil and it came in a set that also came with a body lotion and both products work extremely well! The scent is lovely however it does not stay on as long as I would like so maybe there’s a market for a perfume for OSEA. I highly recommend to anyone.

The overall impression of this product is very positive. The hydrating oil has a wonderful elegant scent and feel. It effortlessly melts into skin and feels luxurious. I got a full size 1oz glass bottle in my Allure Box 😘 the glass bottle looks super high end. I’m in my 40’s and gentle simplicity in products like this this one are what I’m always looking for.

I’ve been an OSEA customer for a while now and have tried a bunch of their facial skincare products. The one I keep coming back to is the Hyaluronic Sea Serum. I really appreciate that it’s fragrance-free, which is huge for my sensitive skin. It can feel a little sticky at first, but that goes away pretty quickly. It is on the pricey side, and I do wish it lasted a bit longer for the cost. That said, they have a pretty solid subscription and loyalty program, which helps offset the price—especially for the face serum. They also include free trial-size products in shipments, which is always a nice bonus and a good way to try other items. I also use the Undaria body wash, body oil, and body cream, which I love. They smell amazing without being overpowering and feel super luxe. Overall, it’s a brand I continue to come back to, especially for body care.

Big fan of Osea, a lot of my family is too! In my opinion it’s worth the price as well as easy to find! There hasn’t been a product that I haven’t liked from the company, great price to product ratio!!

I've been using OSEA for 5 years - I started around my pregnancy when I made the switch to better products (I use YUKA app) for myself - I use Ocean Cleanser, and the advanced eye cream daily. For this past Christmas - I asked my husband for OSEA and he nailed it - he got me the anti-aging body balm (it's LOVELY), I also use the sea glow resurfacing scrub 2x a week, and daily I use Atmosphere Protection Cream, he also got me one I would have never bought myself that I deeply love - Vagus Nerve Pillow Mist! It's so lovely, I will keep using these products, I stand by them - and they are worth it. Love the glass bottles.
