On Running earns polarized reviews: many say the shoes are comfortable, lightweight, and cushioned enough for walking, everyday wear, and even long races, while others report inconsistent support for running, half‑size‑small fits, and durability issues like heel and mesh tearing. Reviews praise styles like Cloud 5, Cloudmonster, Cloudrunner, and The Roger for sleek looks and versatile comfort, but flag pebble‑catching soles, flimsy or fussy laces, traction concerns on wet metal, and widely criticized customer service.

  • I have a narrow foot, and I love these shoes. I have 4 different pairs, and I can't get myself to buy another brand. You have to be sure to buy the right shoe for you, and I recommend going into a store to get fitted. Swiss made things never disappoint!

  • These are my second favorite running shoes after brooks. My husband likes his for casual wear.

  • I've had a pair of On sneakers now for about 9 months, and I personally love the product itself -- it's comfortable, works well for so many different situations (casual, exploring cities, exercising, light hikes), and looks stylish with any outfit. It's also held up well throughout all the wear! My two gripes with it are: (1) Their in-store experience in NYC is awful. Don't bother waiting in line, you're better off going to Nordstroms or another department store to try, or to order to your house (2) So expensive!

  • I love love these shoes. I have multiple pairs for hiking, running, and walking. Maybe I'm obsessed. My only compliant is that they don't last long.

  • I never thought I'd find a better shoe than my hokas but I have been proven wrong, I love my on running shoes they're so comfortable and hold up well. I got my dad to wear them as well since we both have foot pain, I'm very impressed.

  • I love my Cloudrunners! I went to a running store and got fitted by an expert, and these were the best choice for me. They're comfortable and stylish, and I feel supported when walking/jogging/hiking. I sized up half a size.

  • I have to give credit to On-Running shoes for their incredible comfort. They are like walking on clouds! However, as a shorter person, I tend to look for shoes with slightly bigger soles that provide a bit of a lift. That being said, if you prioritize comfort above all else, On-Running shoes are a dream come true.

  • I was so excited to score 2 pairs of On running shoes in my size in Nordstrom! one of the pairs has become my weekly Athleisure option and love the look and comfort of them. That being said after only 2 months of wearing the fabrics on the inside of the shoes have already started to wear off and I noticed a hole! I am disappointed because I love the shoes but 2 months of wear is not long enough for me. I have a lot of shoes and have never experienced that with any of them.

  • Very surprised about these shoes. I've had problems with plantar fasciitis and tired so many different brands. After a few times I had zero pain and it was a huge relief. I will definitely buy more.

The one thing that could be better in my opinion is durability. For the price, you pay you would expect the shoes to last longer. In my experience just after a few months of normal wear, the under sole started to fall apart.

  • I got a pair of the Cloudflyers. They are incredibly comfortable and great for when I'm on the move all day or walking around the city. My feet feel well supported, and they look great as well.

  • I was gifted a pair of these shoes for free and I loved the look and color scheme. They were VERY lightweight, but they did not hold up for very long and eventually wore some holes in the toe areas after not a lot of use (I am not a runner). They were nice while they lasted!

I did not find these shoes to be very durable and they did not last me for very many months, but they were very lightweight.

  • If I could walk in only one shoe forever it would be this. Too bad it’s not so stylish. Love love love! Literally walking on clouds.

  • Purchased these and didn't love them from the start. The cut of the shoe is super low and even though I wear low socks...they still showed, which isn't a good look/feel. They felt like every other athletic shoe and wore down quickly. I also find that little rocks get stuck in the grips underneath - super annoying and makes you stop to get them out!

Not worth the price tag IMO.

  • I wear these shoes almost everyday. Lightweight and great support. I’ll continue to wear and buy them on a regular basis.

    Feedback

    No improvements necessary.

  • I've had my On Cloud running shoes for almost 4 years now and they are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. This was actually my first pair of non-Nike shoes in ages. I chose these because of the cloud technology and because I was looking for an all around trainer shoe for good foot health. These fit the bill and I've used them for every occasion.

    Feedback

They're unfortunately not the cutest trainers on the market. I love wearing sneakers with my everyday outfits, but found myself only reaching for these when I went to the gym. I would love these more if they were a bit more stylish.

  • They look amazing and I always get compliments but the comfort isn't so consistent. I own 3 pairs. The high tops I own are the most comfortable shoes I own. The low tops are more for compliments as I own much more comfortable shoes. The 3rd paid are their tennis shoes which are super comfortable as well.

  • Currently wearing these as my everyday shoe. I love them. So comfortable. I want a second pair!

  • I love my On Running Rogers. They are super comfy but also stylish enough that I can wear them with a sun dress or jeans. They are the perfect travel shoes that can transition from walking and exploring all day to going to a bar or restaurant at night.

  • I hate running. I bought these shoes for crosstraining and walking...YET I RUN. Because I love these shoes and how they feel to run in. So...I guess I USED to hate running.
