On Running earns polarized reviews: the brand delivers lightweight, cushioned comfort and sleek, versatile design that many find excellent for long walks, daily wear, and even marathons, but recurring complaints flag durability issues (heel lining wear, mesh holes, sole delamination) and pebbles lodging in the CloudTec pods. Reviews praise models like Cloudmonster, Cloudstratus, Cloudrunner, Cloudswift, and Cloudnova for bounce and support, yet note inconsistent fit, limited arch support for some, heavier feel for others, and mixed performance for high-mileage outdoor running.

I hate running. I bought these shoes for crosstraining and walking...YET I RUN. Because I love these shoes and how they feel to run in. So...I guess I USED to hate running.
Truly the best pair of running sneakers I’ve ever owned. They feel super chic, in a model-off-duty way but are also so comfortable, versatile and supportive enough that I truly can walk (or run!) all day long in them. The design is minimal and lightweight; they feel athletic in a sleek way, yet trendy enough to wear with yes, even a pair of jeans! They’re that amazing.
Feedback
Definitely the back sole of the sneaker could be a bit more resistant to wear and tear but overall the sneaker is perfect.

I've now worn my way through 2 pairs of the Cloudflows and had the same issues with both - the inside heel began to wear out within the first couple of months and eventually just disintegrated. After this happened to the first pair the team at On very kindly gave me credit to purchase a second pair but I had the same issues again, and I then decided to go elsewhere for replacements. Another reviewer mentioned the issue with pebbles and stones in the sole of the shoe which was incredibly annoying, but as a shoe the design itself is really attractive, just not great quality or durability for the price point.

Quality, durability, hole-y!
I love how they have cute shoes and also shoes that are really good for distance running.

I bought a pair of ON running shoes from their Regent Street store in London on June 8th, expecting top-tier performance given the premium price. Unfortunately, the shoes turned out to be extremely uncomfortable – after a single run, I experienced serious pain in my legs and back. Hoping to resolve this, I cleaned them and returned to the store on June 22nd, expecting a refund or exchange. The store refused to accept the return and told me to call customer service, assuring me they'd help. I called on the spot, and customer service confirmed that they could process the return, and asked me to send photos and details via email. I did exactly that within an hour, but that’s where the nightmare began. I didn’t receive any reply for days, so I followed up – multiple times. I called again and was told someone would respond soon. Still nothing. I sent additional emails on June 23, June 26, and July 2 with no response whatsoever. Finally, on July 8th, after nearly two weeks of being ignored, they asked for my name and address AGAIN – information I had already provided. After several more emails, they eventually refused the return, claiming the shoes had been used too many times — even though I had told them from the very beginning that I had only used them once before the first contact, and they said the return would still be accepted. They offered me a 10% discount code as compensation – an insult, frankly, considering the time, effort, and patience I gave them. This was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Disorganized, unresponsive, and completely unreliable. They made empty promises over the phone, ignored emails, failed to follow through, and then tried to change the rules at the end. Avoid ON at all costs. The shoes didn’t live up to the hype, and their customer service is absolutely shameful. Save yourself the headache — there are far better and more supportive brands out there that actually stand behind their products and treat their customers with respect.

The sole peeled after just one month of purchase. I submitted a complaint/claim and didn’t even receive a response. I won’t buy the “on” brand again.

I absolutely love my On shoes! The CloudTec cushioning makes every step feel light and comfortable, whether I’m running or wearing them all day. They’re super versatile and stylish—perfect for workouts or casual outings. If anything, the sizing runs a bit small, so consider going half a size up. Highly recommend for anyone seeking comfort and performance in one!

Really bad quality. The cost of the items are luxury however the quality is terrible. These shoes will perhaps last a month and start showing signs of serious wear and tear. I am not sure why the prices are so high.

Absolutely amazing shoes. I got the ON cloud rock 2 for my hiking trip and they were super supportive, comfortable and high quality. I did get some minor damage to the stitching on the front which is a bit disappointing. I also recently ordered the ON cloudsurfer and the quality is great. The shoes are really comfortable and cushioning and give you a great height increase in case you need one 😅. Delivery was smooth and quick and easy to track. My favourite shoe brand.

I purchased a pair of On sneakers in late February, 2024. Not cheap but supposedly highly rated. Because I am in NY, I didn't even begin to use the sneakers until early April. My bit toes literally pierced the meshing on top in June! I emailed On.com and they basically told me that I am SOOL! The sneakers were comfortable but the quality was terrible. I only use them 2x/week and they were in perfect condition. A company that doesn't stand by their product should be ashamed.

Excellent design. Incredible customer service. Unfortunate technical flaw. I love the Cloud 5 waterproof trainers. I wish I could give it 5 stars. Started wearing the shoes 5th January. I wore them everyday, averaging 11.5km walking per day. By 15th April the stitching attaching the sole to the heel of the main body of the shoe had become undone. I submitted a warranty claim three weeks later when it was clear the shoe could no longer be worn safely without risk of rolling an ankle. The response was quick, very informative and understanding. The verdict: the shoes had "reached the end of their lifespan" (which I understand is generally considered to be between 500-800km for shoes). I got 1,160km of use out of them, which seems good going. It's a shame I could only use them for about 100 days - replacing shoes every 4 months is expensive. If you were running 10km, 3 x per week, then they would last you 8 months, which I think is good value. The reason for my 4 stars rather than 5 is the stitching. If the issue was that the sole was worn thin by use, then I could have continue wearing them if I really wanted to (and I do really want to). There would be a negative impact certainly, but nothing as bad a compared to the stitching coming undone and the ankle joint becoming compromised. In some way it's actually ironic, as the sole is still in excellent condition - it's just the weak stitching no longer attaching the sole to the heel that has created a problem. The shoe is unbelievably comfortable, the waterproofing is no joke and I've worn them with dry feet throughout all of the UK's reason still far. I've run in them (200 metre sprints for the bus), climbed in them, jumped and vaulted, laughed and cried. Anyway, there you have it 4/5.

These shoes have no support. If you are a really runner be extremely cautious about the ON brand and this shoe. It can result in excessive ankle and knee injury.

On OWES ME $321.92 for shoes that were never delivered. They were sent back via Purolator, who failed to deliver the shoes. The payment was back in Feb 2024, its May 2024 and no refund. Purolator confirmed that they were shipped back to ON Running.I never got a refund.Seriously poor customer service - Basic they robbed me. Also, re: quality, I bought my son a pair before this, also expensive, which wore out after one month - when I let ON know, they did nothing. I should have known better than to purchase. They are all hype - HORRIBLE company.

I own two pairs and I couldn’t be happier. I used to get shin splints a lot. On Running fixed that for me. Their flexible technology makes it so comfortable to walk and run in and they also “fixed” my running style. Definitely recommend!

I have been seeing the On brand running shoes on runnings in Santa Monica for a while and finally decided to visit the Abbot Kinney store in Venice Beach. I've been a Nike customer for a long time and finally decided on my first pair of On Running shoes. The shoes did not disappoint. My pair was comfortable, lightweight and nicely cushioned. So far so good!

this company and their customer service is horrible, they only care about selling, good luck getting good service from them, its a hard pass on them. They advertised order by 12/20 and get it before Christmas, I ordered on the 17th or 18th and day before Christmas got a notification they are not going to deliver on time and that they can't refund me. Like what? I emailed them they gave me generic email. Guys, it was not the shipping company they shipped out late, i went to see my parents empty handed. They dont care about their customers what makes you think their product is going to be any good.
